Thailand: intensive tour (3 weeks)

The day begins with a rich breakfast which is already included. Today can be arranged by you. We will be happy to recommend various destinations which you can easily do on your own and which will make your heart beat faster. Especially popular is the Royal Palace, the Sirocco Sky Bar or the Khao San Road or the mega shopping center MBK.

Another day in paradise begins! Take off and take the chance to experience Bangkok Live. There will certainly be no shortage of attractions. Optionally (on request) a German/English speaking tour guide is bookable.

Already early in the morning it starts! You will be picked up personally at 7.00 am and brought to Hua Lamphong train station. From here your journey to the north begins. By train you will go directly to Chiang Mai. On the way you will pass the rural interior with beautiful rice fields, and panoramas for dreamy vacation photos. At 20.00 you will reach Chiang Mai where you will be picked up at the platform and transferred to the hotel.

Today begins your Chiang Mai stay. For this you will be picked up by the tour guide at your hotel around 9:00 am and starts with the highlight. The Wat-Doi-Suthep temple on the nearby mountain. The drive up the serpentine road until you reach the top! The effort is worth it, because here you have a breathtaking view over the whole of Chiang Mai and surrounding countryside. The temple, built in 1371, is a landmark of the city and must not be missed on any city tour in Chiang Mai and will captivate you with the breathtaking view. In the afternoon you will explore other temples that are also hard to beat in their beauty and uniqueness. They are called: Wat-Suan-Dok, Wat-Phra-Singh and Wat-Chedi Luang. Each temple is unique and boredom certainly does not arise here. Because each temple is based on different historical and cultural backgrounds. In the evening you will go back to your hotel.

The Pearl of the North: Chiang Mai has a lot to offer. And so we would like to give you the opportunity to explore the Pearl of the North on your own. (On request, a travel guide incl. car is additionally bookable) Stroll through the streets of Chiang Mai and you will find that the city is not called "Rose of the North" for nothing and is by no means comparable to other cities. The city is easy to visit by bicycle or tuk tuk and is best known for its handicrafts. Just ideal for a little shopping excursion.

In the evening at 6:00 pm you will meet your guide and discuss the following hiking tour and packing list.

Today you will set out on a small group tour which is both varied and breathtaking.

09:00: Departure from the hotel by off-road truck. During your drive you will stop at a local market of Mae Malai. Here you will buy food and fruits for your trek and you will have time to collect first impressions.

10:00 AM: Stop at Mok Fah waterfall for swimming and relaxing followed by a drive to Baan Pang Lun for lunch.

13:00: 30-minute drive along the wild road to Huay Nam Dung National Park followed by a 2-hour hike to the Karen village of Mae Jok. During your hike, your guide will show and explain the different flora and fauna of this region.

16:00: Arrive at Chitchatting village and explore the surrounding area with locals and engage in local activities.

18:00: Dinner and overnight in the village in the simplest collective accommodation. You will sleep in a hut of the villagers and the toilet is outside.

In the morning, continue hiking downhill for 2-3 hours to a small Karen village and pass the rice or vegetable farms on the hill. Lunch on the way. Lunch will be prepared by your guide. Afternoon trek about 3 hours to the next village name of the tribe is Lahu (Lahu tribe is one of the hill tribe in Chiang Mai trekking area).

Dinner and overnight in the village in basic collective accommodation.

On the last day of this adventure tour you will start at 8 o'clock in the morning with your breakfast. Afterwards it will get wet. At 8.30 am you will take a flat bamboo raft for about 1.5 hours along the Mae Tang River to the Lahu hill tribe village at Baan Pong Ngan. Here you will have a short village tour.

At 11am your bamboo raft trip continues through passages with stronger rapids until you reach Shan village at 1pm. Once you arrive, you will have plenty of time for your lunch and small sightseeing.

Around 2:30 pm your return journey to Chiang-Mai starts with a local truck where you will arrive around 5:30 pm.

Today you will be transferred from your hotel to the airport in Chiang Mai. There you will fly comfortably with Air-Asia via Bangkok to Surat Thani and be picked up personally directly at the airport there and brought to the pier. There you will be transferred by catamaran via waterway to Samui, where you will be taken directly to your hotel.

It should be emphasized that you do not have long transfer times by bus, but fly quickly and comfortably from the north to the south.

In Koh Samui, enjoy the gorgeous beaches, romantic sunrises and delicious southern dishes with fresh coconut milk.

After your 8 relaxing days, today you will be picked up directly from the hotel and transferred in an air-conditioned vehicle to the airport where you will fly to Bangkok with Bangkok Airways.
