he desert is the place for us today. It is the beginning of our journey and its one of the highlights of this 9 days tour from Tangier. In the morning, we pack up and get into a car that will take us to Merzouga, which is, probably, the longest drive, that will be around 7hours, but there are beautiful scenes which will make us forget about how long the trip takes. However, on our way there we will stop at Ifrane known Europe beyond great nature, parks with lakes and chalets, a ski resort, and hardly any-snow in winter give it the nickname “Moroccan Switzerland.” In the environment of Ifrane, I am excited that we will be able to jump in the scene of mighty Atlas cedars and to spend time playing with wild monkeys on the way to Azrou. Monkeys seem to be happy, they like tummy scratches, when they get satisfy.Lunch stop in Midelt. Likewise, the segment of our way will pass the gorge and the valley of the Ziz River which is in a close proximity to Er-Rashidia where the change of landscape to desert starts.

First rays of the sun will touch our eyes with the splendour of the completely silent and beautiful sand dunes while the sun is rising. In the days to come, you will remember it as having been one of the most precious memories of visiting Morocco.

Later after we had been having breakfast, we will drive to Merzouga and continue to Dades. While on our way to Merzouga, we’ll travel via Rissani, a place famous for its “the fossil factory”, where you can see those many fossils for which the region is so abundant. After approximately 3 hours, we will make a period to admire the landscape with an incredible old town of Tinghir in the background on the way to the palm oasis. After that, we will move to see Todra Gorge. It is the famous canyon. Altogether we will have a lunch in a restaurant and restaurant. Overnight in Dades.

We will be getting out of the bus and taking pictures during the trip. This picturesque road stands for one of the most scenic routes in Morocco displaying a lush green corridor friending the adobe villages and the remains of the ancient kasbahs. Then, we’re on our way to the Marrakech. Well, we can go for a little while to the hotel, and you have the chance to spend your free time on your own.
