Historic Horizons - Egypt 8 Days (5 Stars) GEM VISIT

Arrive at Cairo airport, you will be met and assisted by our representative who will assist you through the formalities, and then be transferred to your hotel, overnight at your hotel in Cairo.

Airport pickup will be organized on the first day, irrespective of your time of arrival.

7am breakfast  be ready by 8 am in the hotel reception.

Pyramids Tour:

After breakfast, checkout from cairo hotel and you will join your private Egyptologist tour guide to visit Giza Pyramids one of the 7 Wonders of the World.

Giza Pyramid Complex:

The complex includes three main pyramids, six little pyramids, the great sphinx and the Valley Temple. The complex dates back to the 4th dynasty 2400 years B.C.

The Great Pyramid:

The great pyramid belongs to “King Khufu” is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids of Giza plateau and the only one to remain intact from the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. The height of the great pyramid is 147 m. They use 2,300,000 stones to construct it and it took twenty years to be built.

The Great Sphinx:

The great Sphinx belongs to “King Chephren” is the largest statue in the world, standing 73 m. long, 19 m. wide, and 20 m height. It is the oldest known monumental sculpture.

The Valley Temple:

A Granite mortuary temple used by Ancient Egyptians for the mummification process and this is the only remaining one at Giza plateau.

Proceed to have your Lunch Then move to visit the Grand Egyptian museum.

morning flight to Aswan and start the day with a morning tour of the famous Temple of Philae.

Transfer you to your Nile Cruise, lunch on board, dinner.

­ 

Overnight on your 5-star Nile cruise. (B, L, D).

(Optional Early morning trip to Abu Simbel by road)

After breakfast, free time then have lunch then enjoy sailing down the fertile bank of the Nile to visit Kom-Ombo Temples. 

Continue down the Nile to the city of Edfu, dinner.

Overnight on your 5-star Nile cruise. (B, L, D).

Breakfast on board then Visit Edfu Temple by horse carriage back to the Nile cruise, continue sailing to Luxor, lunch on board.

We will cross Esna lock Arrive in Luxor and tour to the East Bank of Luxor. Here you will experience the historic karnak and  Luxor temple.

Overnight on your 5-star Nile cruise. (B, L, D).

(Optional early morning trip to Hot air balloon over the West bank).

After breakfast, Disembarkation, then tour the West Bank of Luxor. Start your tour off with the great Colossi of Memnon the last remains of Amenophis III's temple.  

Then the world-famous Valley of the Kings, then stop at the Alabaster factory and finish on to the Temple of Hatshepsut (Deir al-Bahri).

After the tour ends check-in at Luxor hotel (B).

Dendera Temple complex:

Stretching out over 40,000 sq m, the Dendera Temple complex is one of the best preserved complexes in the country. Its crumbling remains date back to around 330 BC and encompass a number of different buildings, each with its own purpose or dedicated to its own deity. 

The epicentre of this ancient site is the Hathor Temple, which is generally considered to be the most impressive as well as the most important. Built with sand coloured stone, this impressive structure was consecrated to the wife of Horus, the God of the Sky, and is believed to have been constructed at some point between 30 BC and 14 AD. Inside, the roof chapel is dedicated to Osiris and features a fascinating sun dial and circular zodiac. 

After the excursion our tourguide will get you back to the hotel in Luxor for the night.

After breakfast, checkout from Luxor hotel and take a morning flight back to Cairo airport (one hour duration).

By arriving to Cairo, this is where our sevices ends, take your memories with you on the flight back home.
