Dubai

As your plane approaches the United Arab Emirates, you can already see the gigantic skyscrapers from above. As soon as the plane touches down, it's off to your accommodation.
Hello Dubai! As soon as you arrive, you feel like you're on another planet: Skyscrapers that shoot up into the sky, luxury cars on every corner and a lifestyle that is simply extra. First cruise along "The Walk" and soak up the mood. And of course - Palm Jumeirah is not to be missed: the iconic palm island with fancy hotels, beach clubs and the perfect spot for your next sunset shot.
You are already on the plane in the middle of the night. Wave to the mega-metropolis once again and watch as Dubai's colorful sea of lights becomes smaller and smaller below you until the city can only be guessed at. Accompanied by the stars in the sky, you fly at lightning speed to one of the most beautiful natural jewels on our planet!
Mauritius. Fantastic beaches, mountain peaks, rainforest and waterfalls - everything on this little piece of earth! Grab your rental car and step on the gas - your adventure begins. First stop: your accommodation! In the middle of nature, you'll find your glamping tent, where you won't miss a single sound of nature. But before the sound of the river lulls you to sleep, you explore the area and familiarize yourself with your options. Because it never gets boring here!
Your spirit of discovery is awakened: What's there to see here? The lodge offers you countless opportunities to explore nature. Grab a stand-up paddleboard or a kayak and set off on the Grand River South East. Pass beautiful mangroves on your way to a majestic waterfall. You know that feeling when you've reached your destination and it's even more beautiful than you thought? Pause for a moment and enjoy the picture-book panorama. Back at your accommodation, you are drawn to the sea - the salty scent in your nose and the soft sand between your toes as you stroll along the beach. Fancy cooling off? If your toes are tingling again after sunbathing in the afternoon, pedal off and explore the mountain landscape on a mountain bike (available to hire free of charge on site). You could really get used to your alarm clock of birdsong and the sound of water - what's on the agenda today? How about authentic vibes, local produce and lively city life? Jump into your rental car - Mahébourg's hustle and bustle beckons you on a tour of discovery. Visit the market, which offers all kinds of exotic street food, and soak up the genuine, colorful life of Mauritius. You can already see Lion Mountain from the city's promenade - do you recognize the lion's silhouette? If you would like to pay a visit to the king of the animals, lace up your hiking boots and walk over his back right up to his head. Even if the hike costs you a bead or two of sweat - the effort is worth it! Once you reach the top, a unique panorama and a magical moment await you: your gaze wanders over the entire east coast to the turquoise blue sea and glistening white sandy beaches. Wow! Would you rather work on your complexion and have a really good time on the beach? Then head on to the beautiful Pointe d'Esny beach. Mauritius has something for everyone.
Looking for a contrasting program? No problem, Port Louis is calling! The island's capital is literally pulsating with life and lures you into its alleyways full of colorful delicacies and must-sees. Your motto: always follow your nose! At the Central Market, you can get everything your heart desires, from fresh fruit to wild spice blends that will conjure up the taste of Mauritius on your tongue. Be sure to try it: Pineapple with salt and chili! Sounds unusual, but tastes heavenly! Your next stop: the small coastal town of Flic en Flac. Walk along the palm-lined promenades down to the beach and plop down on the first sun lounger you come across. Enjoy the sound of the waves, the warmth of the sun on your cheeks and the feeling of timelessness in your own personal paradise. Even the most beautiful paradise has to say goodbye at some point - but not without a stopover at the impressive Tamarind Falls!
Grab your rental car, step on the gas pedal and head for Bel Ombre. Once there, it's time to put your feet up: Put your feet up, enjoy the sun and relax. And where better to do that than on the beautiful white sandy beach?
The best thing about Mauritius: despite its small size, the island combines many natural phenomena. See for yourself today! You decide where to go: at the island's holiest Hindu temple, the Grand Bassin, also known as Ganga Talao, you look directly at a huge statue of Shiva. The lake behind it, which according to legend contains healing water, is surrounded by majestic statues of gods - simply impressive! Or is the Black River Gorges National Park on your bucket list? You shouldn't miss the view from the Gorges Viewpoint in particular! Do you prefer colorful instead of green? Stand at the top of the platform in La Vallee des Couleurs Nature Park and you'll be overwhelmed: In the middle of dense forest lies a rainbow-colored sand dune - the "Seven Colored Earth". What a sight! Another must-see on the island: the Chamarel Waterfall. The natural masses of water plunge into the depths here as if painted.
Today is the day: it's time to say goodbye. Depending on when your return journey starts, you can make the most of the last few hours. Then it's back to Mahébourg, where you say goodbye to your rental car. But your heart is set on Mauritius. Wave to the green jewel in the turquoise ocean one last time.
