Amazing 2 Nights Cruise From Luxor to Aswan including Tours and Hot Air Balloon

Begin around 5 to 5:30 am (available to change) pick up at the lobby of your hotel in Luxor for the incredible trip of 30 to 40 minutes Hot Air Balloon flight over the west bank of Luxor and enjoy an aerial view of the country’s landscape and famous landmarks. Enjoy the sun illuminating the sky of the open air museum city (Luxor) over the great temples and mountains below.

Back to your hotel to have your breakfast and check out with your luggage. Our Egyptology tour guide will pick you up around 8 am to start your unforgettable day by driving to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the New kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies.

Then to the Mortuary temple of the famous queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. Listen from your guide to her exciting story and how she managed to rule as a sole Pharaoh.

End your tour in the West Bank by a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon. Then, transfer to the cruise around 1:30 pm to check in and have your lunch. Start sailing down the River Nile, afternoon tea on the sundeck. Cross Esna Lock and overnight in Edfu.

Accommodation: Overnight in Edfu on board the cruise.

After your breakfast, enjoy Horse Carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu which is considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Back to the cruise. Relax on the deck watching the unique landscape and admire the scenery of the Nile river while sailing to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. Afternoon tea on the sundeck.

Late in the afternoon, stop at Kom Ombo city where to visit the unique double temple of Sobek, the crocodile God and Horus, the falcon God. Return to the cruise and have dinner followed by folkloric party operated by the cruise staff and tour guides. Continue sailing to Aswan for overnight.

Check out at 8 am after breakfast, and transfer to your final destination in Aswan (Aswan airport, Train station or Aswan east bank hotel).
