Kilimanjaro bike trek is our new product of trekking the Kilimanjaro Mountain, Kilema route is the only route that Bike trek to Kilimanjaro can reach to the top by mountain bike. Our experienced guides have done a good number of successful bike trek to summit Mt Kilimanjaro 5895M, the trip took 5 days with proper acclimatization.
This activity provides physical exercise and recreational use of the natural environment with minimum impact while enhancing visitors’ experience. Summit-bound visitors will use the Kilema route (19km) and cyclists will meet their porters at Horombo and continue to the summit. For non-summit bound visitors, cycling starts from Londorosi gate or from Morum Picnic Site then back to Morum (a 44km ride)
Program:
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. you will be met and transferred for overnight accommodation at Salinero B&B. Your head guide will meet you for your briefing, gear check and arrange for you to hire any equipment you may need.
You will be picked from Salinero Hotel at 8:30 am, This morning we drive through Kilimanjaro’s semi-tropical foothills to Marangu Gate, Spend some minutes for registrations and get the permit and then drive to Kilema gate and enter Kilimanjaro National park and start the riding, Up to Horombo H Today is 100% cycling by bike.
Cycling distance 19 Vegetation: Forest and Moorland
After breakfast you start your cycling, riding through Alpine desert, some of the areas you will ride on a small stone, up to Mawenzi Hut and back to Horombo

At 4 am, you will be awakened by your guides to start the zigzag trek up a long screen slop After roughly two hours you should reach Hans Meyer’s Cave and from here the gradient gets steeper. Continue your climb for approximately another 3 hours to Gilman’s Point, You will take your bike from Porters and start riding to Uhuru peak, arriving at Uhuru peak spends a few minutes or photos, and then riding down to Stella Point. After lunch ride down to Horombo

We continue our way to the summit in a switchback formation through trying to stay warm and focused on the amazing sense of accomplishment that lies ahead. With a switchback motion, we ascend through heavy scree and possibly snow towards Gillman’s Point on the crater rim. You will be rewarded with the most magnificent sunrise during your short rest here. Faster hikers may view the sunrise from the summit. From here on your remaining 1 hour ascent to Uhuru Peak, you are likely to encounter snow all the way.
Congratulations, one step at a time you have now reached Uhuru Peak the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro and the entire continent of Africa!
After photos, celebrations and maybe a few tears of joy we take a few moments to enjoy this incredible accomplishment. We begin our steep descent down to Mweka Camp, stopping at Barafu for lunch and a very brief rest. We strongly recommend gaiters and trekking poles for uncooperative loose gravel and volcano ash terrain. Well-deserved rest awaits you to enjoy your last evening on the mountain. Overnight Mweka Camp.
After a leisurely breakfast, make your final riding down to Kilema gate across the alpine and the rainforest to Kilema gate, then you will be transferred to Marangu gate for check out and then to Salinero hotel.
Cancellation of a booking or failure to join a tour will result in a retention of funds by Almighty Kilimanjaro. as follows: Upon receipt of written cancellation by any member of the tour indicated on this reservation 30 days or longer prior to departure, 20% of the reservation of the canceling party will be retained by Almighty Kilimanjaro and the balance of the package price refunded. If a cancellation is received at least 14 days and up to 29 days prior to departure, 50% of the package price will be retained by Almighty Kilimanjaro . If a cancellation is received less than 14 days prior to departure, 100% of the total package price will be retained by Almighty Kilimanjaro . and all outstanding payment will become payable immediately. Should the canceling party be able to find a replacement for themselves no less than 14 days prior to departure and the replacement completes this booking form individually, no retention of funds will take place. However, should no replacement be found by 14 days prior to departure, a 100% cancellation penalty will apply to the canceling party. Almighty Kilimanjaro . and its agents reserve the right to terminate, at their discretion and with immediate effect, the participation of any person on the tour.
