Calgary - Banff National Park

Pick up your separately booked campervan or motorhome in the Calgary area, the largest city in the province of Alberta, which hosted the 1988 Winter Olympics. Then continue to Banff National Park. 2 nights in Banff. Approx. 150 km.

Day 2

Banff National Park

Take a tour of one of Canada's oldest national parks. Take the cable car up Sulphur Mountain or take a trip to the glacial lake Lake Louise.

Day 3

Banff National Park - Cline River/Nordegg

With a bit of luck, you might spot one of the black or grizzly bears that are native to this region. Alternatively, you can also take the Ice Explorer to the Athabasca Glacier. The Glacier Skywalk, a bridge with a glass floor, offers the perfect viewing platform. One night in Cline River. Approx. 230 km.

Cline River/Nordegg - Jasper National Park

Jasper National Park

Jasper National Park was founded in 1907 and designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984. Encounter moose, black bears and the trusting wapitis in the largest national park in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

Jasper National Park - Clearwater/Wells Gray Provincial Park

Today you will pass the highest mountain in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Mount Robson, in the provincial park of the same name. 2 nights in Clearwater. Approx. 320 km.

Day 7

Clearwater/Wells Gray Provincial Park

The day is at your leisure. In the Wells Gray Provincial Park nature reserve, you can take a canoe trip on Clearwater Lake or let yourself be carried away by Helmcken Falls, the fourth highest waterfall in Canada.

Day 8

Clearwater/Wells Gray Provincial Park - Lillooet

Day 9

Lillooet - Whistler

Continue along clear mountain lakes to Whistler. Enjoy the view of Seton Lake on one of the most scenic train rides along the lake shore, which is framed by mountains. Whistler is a renowned ski resort which also offers sports enthusiasts a wide range of activities in summer. The well-known Mountain Bike Park is popular with beginners and advanced mountain bikers of all levels. Alternatively, Whistler invites you to take a relaxed exploration tour on foot, where you can explore the local stores and round off the day in a restaurant or bar. One night in Whistler. Day 10

Whistler - Sechelt/Gibsons

Enjoy the view of the impressive mountain landscape of Whistler on an alpine hiking tour or a leisurely gondola ride before continuing towards the coast. After the ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale (not included), you will reach your destination for the day, Sechelt. One night in Sechelt. Approx. 150 km.

Day 11

Sechelt/Gibsons - Lund (Powell River)

Take the ferry (not included) from Earls Cove to Saltery Bay. Continue north along the Sunshine Coast to Powell River. 2 nights in Lund (Powell River). Approx. 105 km.

Lund (Powell River) - Campbell River

Campbell River

The day is at your leisure. Ucluelet is connected to the village of Tofino by Long Beach, a kilometer-long stretch of beach as part of the Pacific Rim National Park. The many kilometers of sandy beach are only interrupted by wooded hilltops. In addition to a walk along the beach, you can also hike through the moss-covered rainforest of the Pacific Rim National Park, for example on the Rainforest Trail, or go bear spotting.

Day 17

Ucluelet - Nanaimo

Continue to Nanaimo. On the way you will pass the largest lake on Vancouver Island, Kennedy Lake. You can also experience various waterfalls on your way to your destination for the day, Nanaimo. Due to its location on one of the longest stretches of coastline in Canada, there are plenty of activities on or near the water. How about a boat tour, for example, to get to know the marine flora and fauna? With a bit of luck, you might spot whales, dolphins, seals and turtles. Nanaimo - Victoria

Follow the coastline along the east coast to Victoria. The city impresses with its Victorian buildings and maritime flair. During a stroll through Victoria's city center with its colonial-style buildings, the harbor area should not be missed. Here you will find the Parliament Building of the Province of British Columbia from 1897, which is well worth seeing, as well as the Fairmont Empress Hotel, a historic castle hotel built as a railroad hotel by the Canadian Pacific Railway. 2 nights in Victoria. Victoria

Take a stroll through the English-style gardens, such as Butchart Gardens or Beacon Hill Park, which is also home to what was once the largest totem pole in the world.
