The Kigali Genocide Memorial is the final resting place for more than 250,000 victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. It honors the memory of the more than one million Rwandans killed in 1994 through education and peace-building.
Later transfer to Nyungwe forest, en-route visit the Rwanda King's Palace Museum-rukari in Huye town.

Have a morning breakfast then head out on a trek to find chimpanzees in Nyungwe National Park.
You will be entitled to a 1-hour stay on finding the chimpanzees. After doing the chimpanzee trek, you will have lunch and then head for a Canopy walk in Nyungwe Forest.
The largest and best-equipped town on the Rwandan shore of Lake Kivu, Rubavu (formerly Gisenyi) boasts a distinct seaside atmosphere with its palm-lined waterfront boulevard and sandy beaches. One of the world's 20 largest lakes, Kivu is nestled in the Rift Valley below the volcanic Virungas. Look out for the active cone of Nyiragongo, in the neighboring Congo, glowing red above town at night.
After your breakfast, you will enjoy a boat trip on Lake Kivu where you will have a chance to see the hot springs.
Later, you will transfer to Volcanoes National Park.
After early morning breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters to be briefed about the code of conduct while with the golden monkeys.
This will be followed by entering the forest in search of the golden monkeys in the forest which may take 1-3 hours depending on the movement of the golden monkeys in the jungle.
Meet and stay with the golden monkeys for a maximum of one hour.
Later you will transfer to Musanze for a visit to the Gorilla Guardian village.
After early morning breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters together with your packed lunch early enough to be briefed about the code of conduct while with the gorillas.
This will be followed by entering the forest in search of the gorillas in the forest which may take 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas in the jungle.
Meet and stay with the gorillas for a maximum of one hour.
After breakfast, you will transfer from Volcanoes National Park to Akagera National Park through Kigali.
On arrival at the park, we shall proceed to our accommodation.
We ordered lunch and later took a boat trip on Lake Ihema to watch hippos and crocodiles in the water or by the shores.
Enjoy early morning breakfast and start your game drives in an open-roofed vehicle. A full day game drive here offers you an opportunity to spot a variety of game including elephants, buffalos, hippos, lions, Masai giraffe, gazelles, impala, baboons, oribi, Butchel’s zebra, topi, bush baby, leopard, and bushbuck, etc. Proceed for an evening game drive after lunch. Return to your lodge for dinner.
Enjoy a game drive in Akagera National Park, Later transfer back to Kigali.
