Private 9-Days Morocco Tour from Marrakech via Sahara Desert

First, you'll be greeted by our staff at the arrival terminal. We'll welcome you and transfer you to the riad in Marrakech's medina without keeping you waiting. Once in the city center, you'll have some free time (depending on your flight arrival time) to make first contact with the “red city”, which we'll explore in depth later in the tour.

­After a delicious breakfast, we had the rest of the day to enjoy our guided tour of Marrakech. Located in North Africa, Marrakech was one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. The tour includes: Highlights include the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the Ben Youssef Mosque. And why not stroll through one of Morocco’s largest traditional markets, also known as the souk? Take a lunch break around Place Jemaa El-Fna in the middle of the day. Afterward, you’ll head for the Koutoubia Mosque, one of the largest mosques to be found in Marrakech, as well as the Majorelle Garden. Finally, you’ll return to your accommodation – in other words, you’ll sleep somewhere you don’t belong. Of course, you’re free to tour Jemaa El-Fna on your own.

 After Breakfast, we leave the road for the wild south in our vehicle. Our driver will take you to the High Atlas Mountains, which form the border between the liveliest, most populous Morocco and the quietest, most traditional.

We cross this mountain range via the Tizi n'Tichka pass, and the aridity of the environment becomes more apparent as we descend, punctuated from time to time by palm-fringed oases. Next to one of these is the spectacular ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village that seems to have come straight out of fiction. In fact, it has been chosen as the setting for scenes from films such as

Babel or series such as Game of Thrones

Getting to know it from inside and out will help us understand its importance centuries ago, when the trade caravans linking Marrakech and Timbuktu passed mainly through here.

Our route won't take us very far, but it will enable us to enjoy the valley that opens up before our eyes shortly afterwards: the Dades Valley, one of the most fertile in the region thanks to the lush wetlands that spring up on the banks of this river. In one of the valley's picturesque villages, we'll spend the night in a charming riad, where dinner is also included.

After a hearty breakfast, we will set off to explore the Dades Canyon. We will drive through the winding roads, admiring the ancient kasbahs and Berber villages that line the way. We will stop to explore some of these villages, learning about their history and culture We will then continue to Todra Gorge, a natural wonder with towering walls of red and pink rock. We will take a walking tour through the gorge, enjoying the views and taking pictures. After lunch, we will drive through several towns and villages before arriving in Merzouga, a small town on the edge of the Sahara Desert. We will then take a camel ride into the Erg Chebbi dunes, the largest dunes in Morocco. We will stop to watch the sunset over the dunes, a truly magical experience. After the sunset, we will ride back to camp, where we will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea and a traditional Berber dinner and enjoy a traditional Berber drumming, We will then spend the night under the stars in a Morocco desert camp.

Later drive from the Sahara desert to Fes by crossing the Ziz valley near Erachidia which is the capital of the Tafilalt region. Well, stop for an amazing panoramic in Ziz valley for beautiful views.

We carry our journey to Midelt this city it’s famous for apples and Midelt serves as the commercial center of a large agricultural hinterland. It is also one of Morocco’s principal cities for the mining of several minerals.

We’ll stop for lunch before we keep driving across the middle of Atlas mountain with its cedar forest and Berber towns of Imouzar, then we stop inside the cedar forest to watch how the monkies live their freedom life, in addition, visit Ifran or (Swaziland of Morocco ) The name, however, is taken from the local Amazigh language Tamazight and means caves. And In 2013, the city was ranked the second cleanest city in the world, But what makes this place really special is the ability to be outdoors.

After Ifran city we continue the way to Fes across some small Berber towns.

Fez is considered to be the oldest city in Morocco, so it’s a real opportunity to immerse yourself in it and get to know it well. This day will be dedicated to a journey back in time. Our local guide will show you its secrets and provide you with plenty of information about this city of holly. You’ll visit the city’s historical, cultural and heritage sites, and enjoy a stroll through the narrow streets of the old medina. You’ll insist on visiting the most important sites, such as the ancient University of Qarawiyin, the Jewish Square and the Royal Palace …. After lunch, you’ll visit the traditional baking cooperative, then enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the entire Fès medina. dinner and breakfast at the riad.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast in your riad in Fes, you will prepare for a new stage of your journey towards Chefchaouen. First, you will head to Volubilis, a remarkable archaeological site housing well-preserved Roman ruins. You will have the opportunity to explore the fascinating remains of this ancient Roman city, soaking up the history and grandeur of the Roman Empire in Morocco

Once you arrive in Chefchaouen, nicknamed the “blue pearl”, you will be enchanted by the beauty of this city with narrow streets and whitewashed houses decorated with blue shutters. You will have the opportunity to stroll through the medina, admiring its beautiful streets and discovering its charming, lively squares.

Then, you will spend the night in the comfort of your riad. Preparing you for an additional day of exploration and discovery in Chefchaouen.
