At 0800am enjoy scenic mountain views in your 2hrs journey along the Crocker Range. At your homestay Kampung Kiau (Kiau Village) mingle with the villages and experience their activities in their daily life for e.g. planting, rice wine making. Plant a tree to help their reforestation efforts. Your visit will help make a difference to the local community as they learn to appreciate more their culture and forest.

Enjoy a full-day excursion to Kinabalu National Park at the base of the highest mountain in Southeast Asia. Explore this botanist’s paradise with over a thousand species of orchids, numerous Rhododendrons, and pitcher plants as well as many species of birds. Enjoy a guided nature walk and the exhibition hall.

At the Poring Hot springs go on a trek before embarking on an exhilarating adventure at the Canopy Walkway. Soak your feet at the hot spring for a well-deserved treat.

Explore the tea plantation and the tea factory (closed on Monday & Public Holidays). Continue your 4-hour land journey to Sandakan. Lunch before transfer to hotel for check-in, and the rest of the day is at leisure.

This morning, depart to the jetty for boat departing to Selingan Island at 10.00hrs. Enjoy the one-hour boat journey to Selingan Turtle Island, a main nesting area for the Green Turtles and Hawksbill Turtles. Relax, swim or snorkel. Be amazed by the sight of turtles laying eggs and baby turtles scrambling to the open sea upon released on the shore. 

Notes: 

• Although daily sightings of turtles laying eggs have been reported at Selingan Island, it is not guaranteed.

• Visitors are not allowed to go around the Selingan island on their own from 1800hrs – 0600hrs.

• Recommended to travel light for island 1night stay (hand-carry backpack). Luggage storage is available at the jetty to keep your luggage. 

• Conservation fee of MYR60.00 at date of printing is payable directly by clients at the Selingan Island.

• Usage of cameras is allowed but without flash. Video/Digital Video Cameras are not allowed. 

Depart at 0700hrs to Sandakan Jetty for your overland journey to the world-famous Sepilok Orang Utans Rehabilitation Centre. Witness the feeding of Orang Utan and be charmed by orphaned baby Orang Utan at play. Visit the Borneo Sun Bear Conservation (BSBCC) before the onward journey to a river lodge at Kinabatangan River.

Late afternoon, enjoy river cruise in search of endemic Proboscis monkeys, different species of birds and other wildlife along the riverbank. 

**Optional: You may take a night cruise in search of nocturnal animals and birds with a supplement.

Enjoy an idyllic 1½ hours boat cruise on the famous Kinabatangan River and its surroundings in search of more wildlife. Return to the Lodge for breakfast and check-out. Continue to Rainforest Discovery Centre, one of the most popular EE Centre. Afterwards, transfer to Sandakan Airport Sandakan Airport at approximately 1530 hrs.
