Nepal Highlights and Bardia National Park Tour

Our tour guide will pick you up in a private vehicle. We'll start by visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll be amazed by the complex wood-carved temples and historic structures that capture the essence of ancient Kathmandu. Next, we'll visit Swyambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, which offers insights into both Buddhist and Hindu cultures as well as stunning panoramic views of Kathmandu.

Following that, we'll visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, a major Hindu pilgrimage site in Southeast Asia. You will witness the sacred ritual of body cremation on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. We'll also visit Guweyswori Temple, another important pilgrimage site.

Our final stop will be the majestic Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a unique Buddhist symbol. Its calming presence and spiritual significance, which provide a glimpse into the rich tapestry of Nepali culture and religion, will enchant you.

Good morning! Your day begins with our friendly guide picking you up and driving you to Kirtipur, a charming historical town within the Newar community. You'll have the chance to explore iconic sites like Bagh Bhairav Temple, Chilancho Stupa, and Uma Mahaeshwor. We'll then take you to another Kathmandu Valley gem, the well-known Patan Durbar Square. UNESCO World Heritage sites include the Krishna Temple and Patan Durbar Square. Make sure you pay a visit to the interesting Patan Museum!

After Patan, we'll continue our journey by visiting the Golden Temple and the Banglamukhi Temple. To finish your day of exploration, we'll travel to Nagarkot, where you'll see a spectacular sunrise tomorrow morning. Prepare for an unforgettable journey through Nepal's vibrant cultural tapestry!

Nagarkot is known for its breathtaking sunrise views of the Himalayas, which include Mount Everest, the Langtang Range, Ganesh Himal, Ghaurisankar, Rolwaling Himal, and other snow-capped peaks in eastern Nepal. After witnessing the sunrise in Nagarkot, we'll take you to Changunarayan Temple, which is famous for its exquisite woodcarvings and intricate detailing.

Next, we'll visit Bhaktapur, a city known for its impressive architecture that has stood the test of time. Admire Bhaktapur's intricately carved wooden buildings before visiting Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Don't miss the opportunity to visit Nyatapola Temple, one of Nepal's largest temples. While here, you can also take a pottery class using traditional techniques. At the Pottery Square, you can learn about pottery firsthand and design your own one-of-a-kind pot.

Today, we'll head to Lumbini, which is one of the most sacred sites in the world for several major religions. This sacred site is known for its iconic Ashoka Pillar, the inspiring Nativity sculpture depicting Buddha's birth, and the tranquil Puskana Pond. Lumbini is a significant ancient Buddhist pilgrimage site known as Gautam Buddha's birthplace. According to historical records, Lord Buddha was born in 623 BC on the sacred grounds of Lumbini, located in southern Nepal's Terai plains.

Today, you will be immersed in the serene beauty of Lumbini. Explore the various monastic zones, such as the German Monastery, Chinese Monastery, Thai Monastery, International Nuns, and the Golden Temple. Each zone reflects a distinct culture and tradition influenced by the teachings of Lord Buddha. Explore the rich tapestry of cultures as you travel through Lumbini's monastic zones.

We'll then visit Lumbini's spiritual heart, the Maya Devi Temple. This sacred site honors the exact place where Queen Maya Devi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama around 563 B.C. Standing where the Buddha's journey began is a profound experience.

Today, we'll take you on an exciting wildlife adventure to Bardiya National Park. Here, you can see rhinoceros, wild elephants, Bengal tigers, swamp deer, and Gangetic dolphins.

During our visit, we'll tour the crocodile breeding center, where you can learn about conservation efforts and see these fascinating reptiles up close. We will also take you to Tharu village, where you can learn about the local culture and traditions.

The Tharu people's captivating dances will be a highlight of our trip. You will be treated to colorful performances with traditional costumes and music, providing a glimpse into the region's rich cultural heritage.

Get ready to get a glimpse of a one-horned rhino, Asian elephant, spotted deer, hog deer, barking deer, samber, swamp deer, barasingha, black buck, bull, wild boar, nilgai, Royal Bengal Tiger, wild dog, leopard, striped hyena, golden jackal, and many other wild animals on a jeep safari. After completing the jungle safari, we head towards the Karnali River for a canoe trip. You will see different species of birds, and if lucky, you will see dolphins in the river Karnali.

Today, we drive to Nepalgunj in the early morning and take our flight back to Kathmandu. Later, you can stroll through the streets of Thamel and go souvenir shopping.

Your trip will come to an end today. After breakfast, our representative will pick you up with a private van and drop you off at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport approximately three hours before your scheduled flight back to your home or other destination.
