In the morning, visit the genocide Museum, learn & understand about the year of Khmer Zero. Begin your trip to visit the Tuol Sleng Museum (from the S21 prison). This prison was a secondary school and was used as a prison by Pol Pot's security forces, and became the largest detention and torture center under the Khmer Rouge regime. Then, head to Cheung Ek genocide museum, situated 15 kilometers southwest of Phnom Penh and made famous by the film of the same name, "Killing Fields". It was a place (between 1975 and 1978) where more than 17,000 civilians were killed and buried in mass graves; many of them were transported here after detention and torture in Toul Sleng. This place is a chilling reminder of the brutalities of the genocidal Khmer Rouge regime. In the center of the area is a 17-story glass stupa that houses 8000 skulls exhumed from mass graves.

08:30 am, head to visit Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples, which has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Its appeal lies in the fact that, unlike the other monuments of Angkor, it was abandoned and swallowed by the jungle, looking very much the way most of the Angkor temples appeared when European explorers first stumbled upon them. it was also used as a location in the film Tomb Raider. Then head to see the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire, Angkor Thom, the Great Angkor City, established in the late twelfth century by King Jayavarman VII. We also visit the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King & Baphoun temple before continuing to visit Angkor Wat, the most popular tourist attraction in Cambodia-it is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Angkor Wat, also known as the “City of Temples” a temple complex in Cambodia and one of the largest religious monuments in the world, on a site measuring 162.6 hectares. Originally constructed as a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Vishnu for the Khmer Empire, it was gradually transformed into a Buddhist temple towards the end of the 12th century. See the architectural masterpiece of Angkor Wat. We stroll around this massive monument, exploring the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards, and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple.
