4-Day Romance on the Beach

Picked up from Bandaranaike International airport by your very own chauffeur guide with Orchid Garlands & bottle of wine and then transferred to Waikkal. On arrival at the hotel, you will be served with a welcome drink & Escorted you to Flower decorated room. 

On arrival at the hotel, you can spend the day at leisure relaxing & enjoying the hotel facilities.

Late evening, you will arrive and board a beautifully decorated ferry to embark on your romantic dinner. The ferry is lit with natural lanterns as you glide around 300-500 meters at a low speed along the scenic river. Surrounded by mangrove vegetation, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere as you are served by a personal butler, a chef and a ferryman. You can select any of the three specially designed 4-course dinner menus with a choice of seafood, meat or Sri Lankan/Eastern specialties. A bottle of sparkling wine is served to complement your dinner and tea and coffee will be served at the end of the meal.

Spend overnight at a 3* hotel in Waikkal on Bed & Breakfast basis. 

08:00 You will be driven to visit Negombo fish market where you can buy your favorite fresh seafood to cook for your lunch in addition to the seafood we provide during the trip.

9:30 Start boat tour in Negombo lagoon. Here you can engage with traditional and modern ways of fishing in lagoon. . Refreshment will be provided during the boat trip.

11:30 Live cooking of your lunch in an Island in the lagoon which you can participate in. Rice and two grilled seafood items will be served, plus any additional seafood you may have purchases during your visit to the fish market.

14:00 Take a Catamaran ride with an experienced rider through the lagoon area while you relax and see the beautiful scenery.

15:00 End of the lagoon trip and drop you to the hotel

Spend overnight at a 3* hotel in Waikkal on Half Board basis. 

08:00 After breakfast you will be taken by TukTuk to Muthurajawela wetland.

09:00 After crossing some wonderful roadside attractions, you will arrive at Muthurajawela.

09:15 Proceed with bird watching tour by boat. Extending over 6,000 acres and over 29,000, and rumored to provide home to over 40 species of migratory and 85 indigenous bird species. Mangrove forests that line the footpath are great places to observe birds as well as baby crocodiles and fiddler crabs.

11:00 You will be taken back to your hotel by TukTuk

Spend rest of the day at leisure and enjoy a candlelit dinner at an outside location in the hotel. 

Spend overnight at a 3* hotel in Waikkal on Half Board basis. 

After breakfast, you will be driven to airport for your flight back home.
