08h35: Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda – the oldest pagoda in Hanoi built in the 6th century.

09h30: Visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Goddess of Mercy – It is the most unique pagoda in the world.

Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas…

Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.

11h00: Visit Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam.

- Special Note: we will visit Women Museum instead of Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays

12h45: Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine with 8 delicious dishes.

14h00 – 14h15: Continue visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 centuries.

15h15: Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the "Hanoi Hilton. 

16h15 -16h30: Return to hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

Today we leave Hanoi to Halong bay. Upon arrival, we will embark to a junk for a cruise around Ha Long Bay. While the junk cruising caves, grottoes, floating villages on Ha Long bay, have delicious lunch with seafood on boat. Stop for a while for an excursing to the Caves, and Swimming, Kayaking if weather permitted. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing (if weather permitted).

In the morning, cruising more in the Halong bay before return to the Halong pier. Enjoy lunch on Halong before return back Hanoi. 

11h30-12h00: Pick up and transfer back to Hanoi.

Then transfer to airport for flight to Danang. 

Up on arrival in Danang, pick up and transfer to hotel. Free and Overnight in Danang, then transfer to Hoi An. Overnight at hotel in Hoi An.

*Hoi An Memories Show

This grand cultural performance sweeps you up and takes you on a journey. You see the town grow beginning as a small farmer’s house with his new family, then around them, Hoi An springs from the earth. The show moves through the ages portraying Hoi An’s construction, royal marriage alliances, the introduction of lanterns and trade and foreign influence.

The show itself is on a purpose-built island on the Thu Bon River. Carved from a massive triangle at the tip of the island and assembled to look like two opposing river banks in Hoi An.

08:30: Local guide pick up at the hotel. Go to market with our chef (about 30 minutes) by taxi. We will have chance to see and experience the noise as well as directly contact to sellers. In addition to this, we will show the ingredients for using in our lesson.

09:15: Tranfer to Cam Thanh village by car or boat on the way, you can explore the beautiful views of Vietnamese countryside, see the water coconut trees growing together.

11:00: Enjoy welcome drink and take a rest at our restaurant, then join cooking class. Our chef will teach you how to cook some local food. After the lesson, enjoy what you have cooked. 13:00: Return to the hotel

Saigon After Dark tour (Optional)

Tour Runs Nightly 6:30pm – Lasts 4 – 4.5 Hours. This Saigon night tour is part night excursion, part street food adventure. Experience Saigon nightlife the way locals do, all from the back of a vintage Vespa scooter.

To start off this Saigon night tour, enjoy drinks at our Vespa-themed café, Café Zoom, to watch “as the world goes by” (as said in the Lonely Planet guide book). Throughout the night, try a variety of food and drinks at 2 local restaurants and samplings of Saigon’s best authentic local food. Zoom past the famous must-see sights of Ho Chi Minh City while in the bustling traffic. We’ll also go to a Vietnamese-style coffee shop with special live music bar, and then wrap up the evening at an exciting music bar where the new generation of Vietnamese unwind and flaunt their unique styles.

Guests ride pillion behind our drivers to enjoy and experience the Vietnamese nightlife with friends. This tour includes free flowing drinks and all you can eat, so come with an appetite!

We start the trip by visiting Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office, followed by exploring the Reunification Palace, and the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum.

Located 60km from Ho Chi MInh, Cu Chi is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists – the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens.

Today, ducks and water buffalos happily co-exist in the rivers along the side of the road. However, the peaceful rural rice paddy scenery belies the area’s violent history. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destruction, damage & defoliation over this whole area, caused by bombing and mines. There is plenty of evidence of the fierce battle that took place here during the 1960s when Cu Chi was a “Free Target Zone”.

Start our tour in the morning, before entering the tunnels visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. You will spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war).

Mekong Delta River Excursion (start 8.00 – return 17.00). Enjoy the scenic journey along the way bordered by green rice fields. On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by locals.

Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village. Meet the bus and return to Ho Chi Minh. This trip provides a fascinating insight into daily life in the Mekong Delta and you are guaranteed to take home your own private collection of beautiful memories. Overnight at hotel.
