BOOKING CONDITIONS:
Tour Package
Your tour price includes transportation (all modes listed), fuel, accommodation, local taxes, services of a professional tour director and meals as indicated on the itinerary. The price does not include drinks or lunch or any meals other than those indicated on the final itinerary.
Best Travel Morocco makes every effort to ensure that all arrangements and services connected with your tour will be carried out exactly as specified in the most efficient way possible. However, we don't have direct control over the provision of services by our suppliers and while they are selected with the utmost care, we don't accept liability for errors, omissions, or failure by them to provide services as specified.
It is of great importance to note that Best Travel Morocco reserves the right to adjust and make necessary changes to the itinerary or services mainly due to occasional unforeseen circumstances and to substitute accommodations listed with other ones of similar category. Porterage, gratuities, meals (except where otherwise noted), drinks, telephone calls, attraction entrance fees and any other items of a personal nature are assumed to be the client's responsibility.
Deposits:
In order to proceed with your booking, Best Travel Morocco requires a nonrefundable deposit of 20% of the total cost of your package. This deposit will be deducted from your total trip cost, and the remaining balance will be payable 25 days before your tour start date.
As soon as Best Travel Morocco receives receipt of your deposit we will send you a confirmation email with your confirmed travel itinerary.
We can accept bookings no less than two days in advance but please note that reservations should be made as early as possible, especially if you are traveling in the peak season around Christmas and Easter.Final payment must be received by us 30 days before due arrival date: 100% of total tour price must be funded. There is no refund after the payment is done. If this balance payment becomes overdue and we cannot contact you, your reservation will be canceled and your deposit retained.
Cancellations:
Cancellation Policy: At Best Travel Morocco, we value your trust and understand that plans can change. We have designed our cancellation policy to be fair and considerate, taking into account both the needs of our clients and the operational aspects of our small tour operation. Please take a moment to review our cancellation policy below:
1. Deposit and Booking Confirmation:
- A deposit of 20ˆ% is required to secure your reservation.
- The deposit is non-refundable, serving as a commitment fee to secure your spot.
2. Cancellation Timeline and Refund Structure:
- Cancellations made 30 days or more before the tour start date will receive a full refund, minus the non-refundable deposit.
- Cancellations initiated 29 days or less prior to the tour's commencement date will not qualify for a refund.
3. Special Consideration for Covid-19 or Comparable Health Emergencies:
- In light of the ongoing global pandemic, we recognize the challenges it poses. If you are unable to join the tour due to Covid-19-related circumstances, such as travel restrictions or health concerns, we will work with you to reschedule your tour or provide a credit for future use.
4. Rebooking and Flexibility:
- We understand that unforeseen situations can arise. If you need to reschedule your tour, we will make every effort to accommodate your request, subject to availability.
5. No-Shows:
- No-shows on the tour start date are non-refundable.
6. Travel Insurance:
- We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellations, travel interruptions, and medical emergencies. Our goal is to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for every traveler. We appreciate your understanding of our cancellation policy, which helps us maintain the quality and viability of our small tour operation. Accommodation Selection Process:
Prior to recommending any lodging, our team at Best Travel Morocco undertakes a meticulous evaluation process grounded in four key criteria: scenic vistas, culinary offerings, guest comfort, and intangible qualities. Following the initial selection, we continue to prioritize the input of our esteemed clientele, valuing their insights as a crucial factor in our decision-making process.
Smoking Regulations:
While aboard our vehicles, we strictly enforce a non-smoking policy. However, we ensure frequent rest stops to accommodate those who wish to smoke. We kindly request your consideration for fellow clients who might be sensitive to smoke due to allergies. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Dietary Requirements:
For tours encompassing provided meals, we kindly request you to inform us of any specific dietary needs during the booking process. This ensures that we can effectively communicate your requirements to our suppliers and make necessary arrangements. Your cooperation is essential in providing a tailored and enjoyable experience for all our clients.
Itinerary notes:
Some tours have choices for attractions or accommodation, and sometimes there are attractions that carry an additional cost and are listed as optional. Please choose these options when you book your tour as some are limited in space.
If you wish to leave the tour at any time to visit friends or family, you are welcome to do so. Please ensure that the tour director is informed ahead of time.
Travel insurance:
Insurance is not included in tour fares, but it is essential. We require that you purchase insurance in order to protect the non-refundable portion of your fare and to provide coverage for unexpected events.
Special needs:
If you require ongoing assistance in any way, you must be accompanied by a travel companion who will be fully responsible for your needs while on tour. Your tour director cannot provide ongoing assistance. Some tours may not be suitable due to the level of activity, so please discuss your needs with us when you book your tour.
Gratuities:
Gratuities are at your discretion, but are a significant portion of the income in these professions and a part of the culture. After client requests to include tour director and driver tips in the tour fare, we conducted a survey. The feedback was overwhelmingly opposed to including tips. In general, the guidelines are between 10% and 20% of the total price per each tour director and driver. The most discreet method is to place the tip in an envelope and on the final day either hand it to the tour director or driver or leave it on his or her seat.
It always depends whether or not you are satisfied with the service, but here are some general guidelines:
- Tour guide / driver: 10-20% of tour price per group
- Local guides: $4-10 per person for every 3 hours of service.
- Meals: In general, 12-15% of the pre-tax bill.
- Chambermaid: $2 per person per night. This is especially important when you have multiple nights in one hotel.
- Luggage handling: $1 per bag.
Note: Tips for luggage handling in hotels are usually included.Transfer driver with luggage handling: $2-5 per person.
