Departure is from your Port Elizabeth Hotel at 09h30. On reaching the Garden Route our route follows the coastal road winding its way along river gorges, over breathtaking mountain passes and through dense indigenous forests. We stop for a coffee break at the Bloukrans Gorge where you can observe ‘crazy’ people jumping off a 280m high bridge – attached to a bungee rope of course.
Our exploration of this ancient forest includes a drive through Natures Valley, which winds its way through the tangle of trees, ferns and creepers to massive Outeniqua Yellowwood trees. Enjoy a short walk in the forest or on the beach.
There will be an opportunity for a visit to the Tenikwa Wildlife Sanctuary. Guests may embark on an optional lagoon cruise.
Accommodation is in the Knysna Waterfront or a local Guest House. Free for dinner at the Knysna Waterfront.
