Cultural Treasures of Vietnam: Cruise, Caves, and Ancient Town Wonders

Welcome to Vietnam! The tour guide & driver will be welcoming you at Tan Son Nhat airport (with Welcome Board); transfer to hotel for check-in. Relax after a long flight. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Guide will pick you up and transfer to Cu Chi Tunnels. Cu Chi Tunnels that were central to a few of the war’s strategic operations, including the famous 1968 Tet Offensive. They served not only as living quarters, but as supply routes, hospitals and munitions dumps for thousands of guerilla fighters. See the various man-traps, bomb craters and other remnants of war that remain. Have lunch before we drive back to city. In the afternoon, Saigon City tour will visit: Notre Dame Cathedral was built in 1880 and the Old Post Office was built between 1886 - 1891, It is one of the best examples of classical French colonial architecture. The Reunification Palace: This beautifully preserved palace was the residence of the President of Replublic of Vietnam. An impressive visit! The tour also takes you to the China Town & Cho Lon (Binh Tay) market, where local farmers from all over the world come to sell their merchandise. Look around, you will undoubtedly find the necessary souvenirs here. Back to hotel. Free time in the evening. Overnight in Saigon.

8:30 - 9:00 am. Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel, and drive 1,5 hours to Mỹ Tho. We will stop along the way for refreshments and toilet. Upon arrival, we board a motor-boat and cruise along a vast network of canals and channels to enjoy wonderful views of the Mekong River, including four famous islands “Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle and Phoenix”. Stop at one of the floating fish houses, in nets and wire baskets under their house, the villagers cultivate freshwater fish and shrimp – a major export product of the region. Cross the River to the other side, you will stop at a traditional workshop to witness a step-by-step process on how to make coconut candy, honey farming… while trying some yourself and listening to traditional music. Enjoy what local people offer by hand rowing a sampan along the shady, breezy canal. We will transfer to local transportation called Xe Lôi to travel throughout the villages.

Lunch will be served at a riverside restaurant with a Vietnamese 5-course set menu. Take a rest after lunch before boarding the motor-boat back to Mỹ Tho. We drive to Vĩnh Tràng pagoda, an ancient southern architectural gem built in the middle of the 19th century. There are many Buddha statues including some that are over a hundred years old. We drive another 1,5 hours back to Saigon and drop you at your hotel arround 17:30 pm. Overnight in Saigon.

Breakfast at hotel. Free time until transfer to airport for flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, our team will pick you up and transfer to hotel for check-in. Free time to discover Da Nang on your own arrangement. Overnight in Danang.

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Toc Tien Cable Car Station. You have a chance to ride on a modern system of cable cars helps you get a bird's-eye view, very miraculous and attractive while enjoying a feeling of flying in the blue sky amidst the clouds and wind. You will visit some old French villas en route, as well as the suspension bridge, Nui Chua & the Mountain Peak (at the height of 1,487m). We will then enjoy lunch whilst taking in the spectacular views. In the afternoon, Visit Golden Bridge - the famous bridge with 02 hands as a hand of Buddha, Vong Nguyet villa where we will visit the wine cellar, Sakyamuni Buddha's monument. Back to Da Nang in the late afternoon. Transfer to Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An

Breakfast at hotel. Free time in Hoi An. At 1:30 pm, the guide welcome you at hotel lobby. Walk to the old town. Start visiting the Temple Kwan, Phuc Kien Temple, Tan Ky Ancient House, Phung Hung house, Japanese Bridge and cultural show rooms in Hoi An. After your walking tour If you have free time, you can do shopping at the old town. Guide will take you back to the hotel. Overnight in Hoi An.

Breakfast at hotel. At 8:Local tour guide pick up at Hoi An Hotel , move to Cam Thanh wharf. (Cam thanh coconut village). Transfer to the basket and go along the Thu Bon River for reaching to Bay Mau coconut forest to admire the scenery both sides of the river and the local people’s living activities. Starting the journey to explore the Bay Mau coconut forest: learn how to row the basket boat , fishing crab, how to throw the net for catching fishes , how to make the hat, grasshopper, rings ect. by coconut leaves and save all memories with these green beauty of coconut forest Cam Thanh. You will be seen the fantastic performances shake basket boat and throw the net for fishing. Lunch at the restaurant and rest on the hut or hammock or leafy house. Back to hotel and tour ends. Overnight in Hoi An.

Breakfast at hotel. 08:00 am pick up at your hotel in Hoi An. Today we drive westward toward the foothills of the mountain spine of Indochina. From here we’ll hike into the sacred valley of Vietnam’s most spectacular historic and religious site. Dating back to the fourth century, My Son was the holiest site of the Champa kingdom where over a period of 900 years, 68 significant Hindu temples, most dedicated to Shiva, were built. The towers are built of a combination of perfectly fitted, mortar-less, fired brick and elaborately carved sandstone bas-relief panels. Only 25 survived the centuries of pillaging by Chinese and Khmer invaders as well as U.S. bombings. 11.00am, leaving My Son and returning to Hoi An. 

Transfer to Da Nang Airport for flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival Hanoi, our guide and driver will pick up and transfer to hotel for check-in. Free time in the afternoon and evening. Overnight in Hanoi. 

Breakfast at hotel. Considered charming colonial city, tourists would find Hanoi very typical feature of oriental city alive with its tree-lined boulevards and lakes and its blend of French, Chinese and Vietnamese architecture. Hanoi is the jewel of Asia. A cyclo trip will bring you to charming "36 streets and 36 wares" of the fascinating Old Quarter. 07:40 - 8:30 Meet your tour guide . Start the trip with Tran Quoc pagoda, a Buddhist relic and national heritage lying on the West Lake. Visit Ho Chi Minh’s complex (outside), the final resting place of Viet Nam’s greatest father; his house-on-stil and One pillar pagoda – modeled after a lotus flower, a symbol of Hanoi. Arrive Ethnology museum to learn about cultures of 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam. Have a rest and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant in Hanoi Old Quarter. Visit Temples of Literature constructed in 1070 - dedicated to Confucius, sages and talented scholars. It is the most famous temple in Hanoi, also functioning as Vietnam's first university. Leave for a legendary Hoan Kiem lake and Ngoc Son Temple. 16:00 Arrive back in your hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

After breakfast at hotel, from Hanoi, at 8AM, head East for more than 3 hours to Halong Bay, the pride of the Gulf of Tonkin, a Natural World Heritage as designated by UNESCO in 1994 and 2006. The road will pass by the Red River delta with green paddy fields and rural villages, where hard-work farmers are busy with their farming jobs, ploughing buffaloes or planting seedling. Upon arrival in Halong, we’ll take a big boat to cruise the Bay to discover the magnificent beauty of this “Descending-dragon” bay, created by thousands odd-shaped limestone rocks and karst grottoes. After a lunch of fresh seafood on board, we can visit the Surprising Grotto, stop for swimming, passing floating villages and approach islets to enjoy their beauty in close distance. Evening attend activities on the boat or relax at your own leisure. Overnight on the boat.

In the morning, doing exercise morning on Sundeck, enjoy light breakfast with coffee, tea, seasonal fresh fruit and bread before keep going to visit Halong Bay, passing by many other rocks, Islets as well as fishing villages. Brunch will be served on board before disembarking time. Return to Hanoi, arrive at your hotel in Hanoi in the late afternoon. Check-in hotel. Free time in the evening, you can walk around Hanoi Old Quarter to discover the life of local people, choose a nice local restaurant to enjoy dinner is the best way to explore the beauty of Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
