This is a tour that will excite adventure lovers and show them a different side of the country. It will expose travelers to the natural environment and its occupants and most importantly, it will be a very fun trip touring communities and experiencing their culture and beliefs.

Upon arriving at the Kotoka International Airport, a guide or driver will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. They would also assist you with your hotel check in and preparations for the next day. Hotel Check in begins at 12:00pm

Morning Activities
Your guide will take you to exchange your currency for Cedi. For guests who prefer to use the ATM or bank, you would be taken to the closest one available to get some money. For guests who are interested in sewing some African attire, we can arrange a meeting with a tailor to take your measurements and styles for sewing.
Aburi Gardens
The Aburi Botanical Garden is a protected area developed in 1890 as a garden with various plant species from different parts of the world. The site is a must visit destination for plant lovers who want to know the various types and kinds of plants there are, their purposes and uses. The park is open for learning, research, picnics and a venue for events. Some of the trees in the garden were planted by dignitaries from across the world like Sir Gordon Guggisberg, General Olisengo Obasanjo, H.E Jerry John Rawlings, Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles of Britain, and many others.

Elmina Castle
The Elmina Castle is the oldest and the largest castle below the Sahara built by the Europeans in 1482. It was initially built as trade settlements with warehouses for keeping goods and items exchanged. Later, the warehouses were converted to male and female dungeons where slaves were kept for a maximum of 3 months to be shipped to the “new world”. The Elmina castle is now recognised as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Castle has served many purposes like Prisons, as a secondary school, and is now a historical site that connects guests to their heritage and roots.
Assin Manso Slave Camp
Guests will visit the sacred sight of the Assin Manso Slave River/Camp. After long days of journeying from the north the coastal south of Ghana, slaves were taken to this river to have their last bath before marching them to the castles to await shipping. Currently, remains of descendants of some slaves were exhumed from Jamaica and New York, returned to Ghana through the door of no return and have been buried at the Ancestral Graveyard of the site. The site is significant in the celebration the Pan African Festival and Emancipation Day Celebration, as people from the diaspora are welcome back to the roots and the land of their ancestors

Kakum National Park
Guests would visit the second largest national park in Ghana, the Kakum National Park. The canopy walkway, the main attraction for the visit, was built by 2 Canadians and 6 Ghanaians in 1994, commissioned in 1995. The walkway is a suspension bridge which is from 11 to about 50 meters high with a distance of about 350 meters. Guests are assured safety as three of the Ghanaians who helped to build the walkway are still with the park and carry out periodic maintenance. Guests get to appreciate the variety in the vegetation and some bird and butterfly species in the rainforest from a fascinating view above. This tour is recommended for those who want to conquer their fear of heights.
Cape Coast Castle
The Cape Coast Castle is the smallest and the only castle built for the purpose of slavery by the Europeans in 1652. The Cape Coast Castle as recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site has become an important site in the remembrance of the history of slavery. On the first Pan African Festival celebrations in 1998, remains of 2 slaves from Jamaica and Barbados were exhumed and brought back to Ghana through the door of no return, now the door of return. This was a symbolic welcome to their descendants saying, they are always free to return to their roots where they were taken. The site has contributed to preserving our history as Africans and helped tell the African perspective to slavery.

Tafi Monkey Sanctuary
The Tafe Monkey Sanctuary is a forest and habitat of over 700 sacred Mona Monkeys that live in a protected virgin forest. Guests will get the opportunity to visit the Sanctuary to see and feed the monkeys. These monkeys live in groups and are buried in the forest when they die since they are considered sacred. They are also very friendly and are always ready to pose in a picture with guests.

Mountain Afadjato
Guests would visit the highest mountain in Ghana, Mount Afadja. There would be a hike to the mountaintop for about 40 minutes to 2 hours depending on the individual. There is a breathtaking view of the lowlands,valleys and a sight of Ghana’s neighboring country to its east, the french republic of Togo, from the top of the mountain. The forest of Afadjato also serves as a reserve for reptiles, insects, and various species of plants and wildlife. The Mount Afadja site attracts and welcomes several visitors from around the world to it.
Wli Waterfall
The Agumatsa Falls popularly known as the Wli Waterfalls is the highest/tallest Waterfall in West Africa. The fall is about 80 meters high and is located in the Volta Region of Ghana. There is about 30 minutes of walk over nine bridges to the main attraction for the visit, Wli Waterfall. On this walk, guests will get the opportunity to connect with nature, see and appreciate different species of plants and occasionally some animals. Guests can also finally swim, relax and have their moment at the waterfall.

Boat Riding on Lake Volta
Guests will get to embark on about an hour boat ride on the Lake Volta located in Akosombo. On the boat ride, guests will have the opportunity to see the Adomi bridge built by the first President of Ghana, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah in 1957 over the Volta Lake to connect the Eastern region to the Volta Region. There are different islands, highlands and communities on and around the river which is breathtaking to see.
Cedi Bead Factory
A visit to the Cedi Beads factory will give guests an insight about the Ghanaian beads industry. Here, guests will get to appreciate how beads are made from broken bottles, smashed, melted in hot ovens, transformed into recycled and antique beads, polished and uniquely designed. Beads are an essential part of most Ghanaian traditional communities during various occasions like naming, puberty rites, marriages, funerals and festivals. The beads from the Cedi Bead factory are displayed at the site for purchase and on display in museums across the world like Newark Museum, Dabls Mbad African Museum, and Picard Trade Bead Museum in the United States.

Meet with Tailor to Pick Up Clothes
On day 8, guests can meet with the tailor to pick up Clothes and if there are any alterations to be done on the clothes, it would be done on this day.
Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm
Ghana is the leader in the production and supply of quality cocoa in the world. Cocoa was first introduced in Ghana by Tetteh Quarshie in 1870 through a smuggling process from Fernando Po now equatorial Guinea. He planted the first cocoa farm in Akwapim Mampong now named after him as the Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm. Guests will have the opportunity to visit the farm and be taken through the planting, harvesting and also fermentation process that farmers go through to get cocoa beans for export or for sale to local processing companies. Currently, two of the original trees planted by Tetteh Quarshie are still in the farm bearing fruits.
Shopping for Souvenirs
Guests who are interested in shopping for souvenirs to take back home with them as a reminder of their travels and to show where they have been can do so on this day. If you want to experience a local Ghanaian market, we would definitely recommend visiting the Makola Market which has a very vibrant atmosphere and you can find so many Local things to purchase. Tourists who are interested in arts and crafts like wood carvings, paintings and African printed clothes and accessories can also visit the Accra Arts Center or the Osu Oxford street.
NB: You have the option of going shopping by yourself with an Uber or Taxi or we could make arrangements for our driver to drive you to these shopping centers.
Nightlife
Guests who are interested in having a nightlife experience in Accra would be able to visit any of these hangout options (but not restricted to these options) provided to have a feel of Accra at night. Some of these hangouts options have contemporary live band music with good food and drinks. Please note that you would sometimes have to pay a fee to enter some of these venues which guests will be required to pay for themselves (venue fee could range from a minimum entry fee of GHC50 to GHC100).

Kwame Nkrumah Museum
Guests would visit the Kwame Nkrumah Museum/Memorial park. It is the final resting place of the first president of Ghana, who liberated Gold Coast from Colonial rule. The museum houses the personal effects and publications of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah at various stages of his life from childhood to his political life till his overthrow and death. There are some pictures and videos showing his life history with some famous personalities across the world. The premise was where Kwame Nkrumah stood to declare Ghana independent.
Art Center
Guests would visit the Accra Arts and Craft Market to have a look, and purchase some Ghanaian inspired arts and craft as souvenirs from their visit. The Arts and Craft Market is an array of stalls or shops that sell crafts like wooden carvings, clothes, beads and many other accessories for a take away from a memorable visit to Ghana. Here, venders will try to get the attention and persuade guests to purchase from them as there are similar items in several shops in the same market.
Black Star Square
In 1961, during the visit of Queen Elisabeth II and Prince Charles to Ghana, the black star square also known as the independence square was commissioned by the first president of Ghana, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. At the square, guests would get to see the independence arc, the black star gate and the monument of Liberation. The site is a very large open space bounded by stands that can seat about 30,000 people. It was built to commemorate the independence of Ghana as symbol of self-reliance and a place of national unity. The space is used to host other national, religious and commercial events like political rallies and entertainment concerts.
Guests who are required to get a Covid Test before departing from Ghana can do so on Day nine after breakfast before beginning with the activities at the tour sites.

By booking a tour or participating in a tour and any related products or services with Pro Tour, you agree to these Terms & Conditions
THE BOOKING CONTRACT
Your booking is confirmed and a contract exists when the Pro Tour or your travel agent issues a written confirmation after receipt of the applicable deposit amount. Please ensure that you check your confirmation carefully and report any incorrect or incomplete information to the us or the authorized agent immediately. Please ensure that names are exactly as stated in the relevant passport or other forms of identification.
To book a tour you must be at least 18 years of age. You also agree to provide complete and accurate information required to Pro Tour or authorized agent.
BOOKING ON BEHALF OF OTHERS
By booking on behalf of other participants, you are deemed to be the designated contact person for every participant included on that booking. This means that you are responsible for making all payments due in connection with your booking, notifying us or your travel agent if any changes or cancellations are required and keeping your party informed.
You also represent and warrant that you have obtained all required consents. You are responsible for verifying that any information you provide on behalf of another participant is complete and accurate and we will under no circumstances be liable for any errors or omissions in the information provided to complete a booking.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Any special needs must be made known to Pro Tour at the time of booking. Pro Tour ensure that it uses reasonable efforts to accommodate special needs or requests but this will not always be possible depending on the nature of the request, the destinations visited and availability of options outside a planned itinerary. Some activities may be inaccessible to you if your mobility is limited in any way. All food allergies and dietary restrictions must be disclosed to Pro Tour at the time of booking but we cannot guarantee that dietary needs or restrictions can be accommodated. Any special requests or requirements do not form part of these Terms or the contract between you and the Pro Tour and we are not liable for any failure to accommodate or fulfill such requests.
AGE REQUIREMENTS
Anyone under the age of 18 on the date of first travel is considered to be a minor. Minors must always be accompanied by an adult.
All bookings with a minor are subject to review and approval by Pro Tour. The consent of a parent, guardian or any other adult is required for booking and if the accompanying adult is responsible for securing and verifying all consents, documentation and ensuring that they and the minor(s) meet all legal requirements to travel, to enter into and depart from applicable countries and regions.
Pro Tour will not be responsible for any fees, damages, or losses incurred as a result of any failure to secure necessary consents, permits, and approvals.
Each adult on a booking with a minor or minor(s) is jointly and severally responsible for the behavior, wellbeing, supervision and monitoring of such minor(s), and jointly and severally accepts these Terms for and on behalf of any minor(s) on their booking, including all assumptions of risk and limitations of liability. Pro Tour does not provide care services for minors and expressly disclaims any responsibility for chaperoning or controlling any minor(s).
PRICES, SURCHARGES AND TAXES
Pro Tour will not increase the price of your Tour after you have booked and paid in full. Tours are priced and advertised inclusive of applicable taxes.
From time-to-time Pro Tour may offer reduced pricing on certain products or services. Reduced pricing applies only to new bookings. Bookings that have been confirmed and paid for to Pro Tour are not entitled to reduce pricing.
VALIDITY
All dates, itineraries and prices of Tours are subject to change at any time and the current price will be quoted and confirmed at the time of booking, subject to any surcharges that may be levied in accordance with these Terms.
You acknowledge that you are responsible for keeping up to date on specific details of your Tour and any other products or services, including, but not limited to checking the Tour Operator’s website or through a mail at least 72 hours prior to departure as minor changes may have been made after the time of booking.
AIRFARE
Tour prices do not include international or other airfare unless expressly mentioned in the Tour’s descriptions. If you would like us to arrange any airfare travel at an additional cost, you acknowledge that Pro Tour acts only as a sales agent for the applicable air carrier and the air carrier terms and conditions apply to the purchase and use of the air travel ticket. Please consult the air carrier’s applicable terms and conditions and conditions of carriage for complete information including applicable cancellation terms. Pro Tour would not be responsible for changes in air itineraries or flight times and does not provide advice or alerts regarding air travel tickets, flight status or delays.
FINAL PAYMENT & ACCEPTANCE OF BOOKING
The confirmation sent by the Pro Tour or your travel agent will contain details of final payment required for any booking. Pro Tour is not responsible for any charges levied by third parties or financial institutions and payable by you as a result of credit card or other payment transactions and will not refund or return any fees charged by third parties or financial institutions in connection with payments made by you to Pro Tour.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
It is your responsibility to obtain information and to have in your possession all the required documentation and identification required for entry, departure and travel to each country or region. This includes a valid passport and all travel documents required by the relevant governmental authorities including all visas, permits and certificates (including but not limited to vaccination or medical certificates) and insurance policies.
CANCELLATION BY THE PARTICIPANT
You may cancel your booking by notifying the Pro Tour. Cancellation fees, if any, will be determined with reference to the date on which notice of cancellation is received by Pro Tour and are expressed as a percentage of the total price paid for the cancelled Tour, product or service.
Cancellation of a Tour
(a) Cancellation received 60 days or more before departure of first product or service in relevant booking will be refunded after cancellation charges of 5% are deducted and the remainder of the payments made to Pro Tour in respect of the cancelled product will be refunded.
(b) Cancellation received 30-59 days before departure of first product or service in relevant booking will be refunded after cancellation charges of 10% are deducted and the remainder of the payments made to Pro Tour in respect of the cancelled product will be refunded.
(c) Cancellation less than 30 days before departure of first product or service in relevant booking will be refunded after cancellation charges of 15% are deducted and the remainder of the payments made to Pro Tour in respect of the cancelled product will be refunded.
Cancellation of Arrival Transfers, Pre and Post Night Accommodations, My Own Room and optional activities booked directly with the Tour Operator:
(a) Cancellation before departure: you will receive a full refund (if no cancellation fee is required) in respect of cancelled Arrival Transfers, Pre and Post Night Accommodations, My Own Room and optional activities.
CANCELLATION BY PRO TOUR
A departure date for a Tour offered by Pro Tour will become a guaranteed departure when at least one booking secured by a valid deposit has been made on that departure.
Pro Tour guarantees that all scheduled Tour departures booked and secured with a valid deposit will depart as indicated on the applicable confirmation, subject to reasonable itinerary changes as described in these Terms or good faith health and safety concerns. Up to date Tour and itinerary information is available on Pro Tour’s website or by contacting us. Brochures and other printed materials displaying Tour information and departure dates are subject to change may not be relied upon for purposes of this guarantee.
If a Tour is cancelled by the Tour Operator before the date of departure and the cancellation is not caused by your fault or negligence, you will have the choice of accepting from Pro Tour:
(a) a substitute Tour of equivalent or superior value; or
(b) a substitute Tour of lesser value if no Tour of equivalent or superior value is reasonably available and to recover from Pro Tour the difference in price between the price of the Tour originally purchased and the substitute Tour; or
(c) a full refund of all monies paid for the cancelled Tour.
Pro Tour is not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that you incur as a result of the cancelled booking including visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail, non refundable car parking or other fees, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment, Pro Tour reserves the right to issue a full refund in lieu of the choices above, in its sole discretion. Where a significant element of a Tour as described cannot be provided after departure, the Tour Operator will make suitable alternative arrangements where possible. If it is not possible to provide a suitable alternative or if you reasonably reject any suitable alternatives, the Pro Tour may provide you with a refund for unused products or services as determined in its discretion.
LIABILITY
Pro Tour and its parents, subsidiaries and their respective employees, affiliates, officers, directors, successors, representatives, and assigns shall not be held liable for (A) any damage to, or loss of, property or injury to, or death of, persons occasioned directly or indirectly by an act or omission of any other provider, including but not limited to any defect in any aircraft, watercraft, or vehicle operated or provided by such other provider; and (B) any loss or damage due to delay, cancellation, or disruption in any manner caused by the laws, regulations, acts or failures to act, demands, orders, or interpositions of any government or any subdivision or agent thereof, or by acts of God, strikes, fire, flood, war, rebellion, terrorism, insurrection, sickness, quarantine, epidemics, theft, or any other cause(s) beyond their control. You waive any claim against Pro Tour for any such loss, damage, injury, or death.
In the event that any loss, death, injury or illness is caused by the negligent acts or omissions of the Tour Operator or of the Third Party Suppliers of any services which form part of the booking contract then the Tour Operator limits its liability, where applicable by all applicable international conventions.
IMAGES AND MARKETING
You agree that, while participating in any Tour, images, photos or videos may be taken by other participants, Pro Tour or its representatives that may contain or feature you. You consent to any such pictures being taken and grants a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to Pro Tour, its contractors, sub-contractors and assigns, to reproduce for any purpose whatsoever (including marketing, promotions and the creation of promotional materials by or with sub-licensees), in any medium whatsoever, whether currently known or hereinafter devised, without any further obligation or compensation payable to you.
