After breakfast, head deeper into the southeast as you explore the dramatic rock formations of the Todgha Gorges. You’ll also have the unique opportunity to meet a local nomadic family for an authentic cultural encounter. The road continues through Erfoud and Rissani before reaching the gateway to the Sahara—Merzouga.

Ride a camel or quad bike (your choice) through the dunes to your desert camp, where a magical evening under the stars awaits, with live music and traditional dinner.

Overnight in your private tent or hotel (based on selection).

Enjoy a full day to experience the desert. After breakfast, you can relax or join the optional 4x4 desert tour (additional cost). Highlights include the abandoned village of Mfis, the spiritual rhythms of Khamliya’s Gnawa musicians, and the peaceful palm groves of Hassilabied Oasis.

Lunch is included during the day’s adventure. In the evening, return to your camp or hotel for another night of Saharan serenity.

Dinner and overnight in Merzouga.

Wake up to an unforgettable sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast. If you're in a camp, enjoy a final camel ride back to the meeting point. Then begin your journey west through ever-changing desert terrain and oases.

Pass through traditional towns like Rissani, Alnif, and Tazarine before stopping at Tamnougalt Kasbah—an ancient stronghold steeped in desert history. Continue along the lush Draa Valley, then cross the Ait Saouen mountains en route to Ouarzazate.

Overnight in Ouarzazate.

After breakfast, discover Ouarzazate’s famous movie studios or explore its old kasbahs before making your way back to Marrakesh. En route, enjoy a final stop at the beautifully restored Telouet Kasbah, nestled in the High Atlas Mountains.

Arrive in Marrakesh by late afternoon or early evening. Your driver will drop you off at your hotel or at the airport, marking the end of your journey through the Moroccan south.
