Iberocycle transports the luggage to the next hotel. In some stages the cyclists also move part of the way to avoid unnecessary climbs.

Cyclists do not travel in a group or with a guide, although they may coincide with other cyclists on the same trip.

Guests are transported to and from the arrival / departure points. Our "IberoCycle On Call" service means that we are always available for help or advice.

Cyclists have our own detailed route guide and maps. Guests on excursions in northern Spain usually spend two or three nights in the same hotel and therefore have one or two days off. The Route Guide offers a selection of free day routes of different lengths for these days. Of course, these are mere suggestions and guests are free to do what they want.

IberoCycle will pick up from arrival points in Santander or Bilbao for this tour. This includes hotels, railway stations, ferryports, bus stations and airports. The same is true at the end of the tour. Please contact us if you have an early flight or departure on the last day, so we can let you know if it is possible for us to get you to departure point on time. Transfer times are as follows, and remember you need to add another hour at least for check in:

• Torrelavega to Santillana del Mar  - 15 minutes
• Bilbao to Santillana del Mar – 1 hour 25 minutes
• Santander to Santillana del Mar – 30 minutes 
• Santander to Bilbao – 1 hour 15 minutes
• Santander to Santander Airport – 10 minutes

Arrival and departure day is Monday. 

Groups of 4 or more can choose any start day at no extra cost
