Our 4-day Cultural Triangle Tour will take you to see the best of the heritage sites in Sri Lanka, you will be taken on a trip to Anuradhapura Royal City and Sigiriya day tour. The main aim of the 4-day Sri Lanka tour package is to travel to some of the best heritage sites; you will also visit Dambulla rock cave temple & Spice Garden.
Go to Dambulla (It is recommended to leave early at 07.00). Stopped for breakfast on the way
Arrive at Dambulla and visit the rock cave temple. (UNESCO World Heritage) About 40 Buddha statues are enshrined in a cave. The driver will help you find an expert guide with English instructions.
Check-in at the hotel. In the evening there is time to rest/enjoy the swimming pool.
Dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, proceed to the holy city of Anuradhapura, the ancient Buddhist capital on the way visit Aukana to see the tallest Buddhist statue in a standing position. The statue was carved from rock and is considered a masterpiece of the ancient sculptor. Refreshment break Visit Mihinthal, a sacred place where Indian missionaries introduced Buddhism to Sri Lanka. Lunch break Visit all other Dagobas, Buddhist ruins, and temples in the city, end of the tour drive back to your hotel in Dambulla
Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress – (UNESCO World Heritage Site) Here you may climb up to see the ruins of an old Royal Palace (hideout) built on the top of a rock at an elevation of nearly 200 meters. The story behind this may be explained to you by the special provincial guide we will get for you. Refreshments after descending the rock Here you may do an Elephant Ride if interested, end of the tour drive back to your hotel in Dambulla Lunch at a Restaurant on the way Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast proceed to the airport according to your flight time.
