North India Desert Expedition

Today you will be greeted by our friendly driver who will be taking you on a tour around Delhi. Places you will visit today are: Jama Mosque, Raj Ghat, Qutub Minar and Humayan's tomb both UNESCO heritage sites. You will also visit the India Gate and the Spice markets time permitting. Overnight stay in Delhi.

This morning after breakfast you will be driven to Mandawa (approx 4hrs), a destination well known for amazing Havelis. Here you will engage with locals as you wander around. Overnight stay in Mandawa. 

After a restful night, today you will be driven to Bikaner. Surrounded by the Thar desert, Bikaner is well known for its 16th Century Fort. Overnight stay in Bikaner. 

Today you are off to Jaisalmer; the Golden City. Here you will spend 2 adventurous days strolling through the colourful bazaars, stunning architecture and hilly sand dunes. 

Today after breakfast you will do more sightseeing around the city - there is so much to see! You will also get the chance to head out to the desert where you may opt to spend the night at the Safari Base camp. Accommodation at the Base camp is a glamping set up and is equipped with a bed, bathroom and aircon like any other hotel room. 

After a night in starry Jaisalmer, you will continue your tour onto Jodhpur, the Blue City. Here you will visit the Mehrangarh Fort (Majestic Fort), the Jaswant Thada a Royal cenotaph built from white marble and later visit the Bhawan Palace. In the evening you may also take a stroll to the famous local market also known as the Clock Tower market.

­An hour out of Jodhpur on the way to Udaipur, you will stop at Bijaipur Family Home in Pali. They offer services for a leopard safari, Village walk, Mountain trekking, sunrise and sunset views, cooking classes and Heena painting. Accommodation here for one night. 

Here you will start your sightseeing at the  City Palace, the biggest Palace in India. You will marvel at the beautiful mosaics and miniature wall paintings as well as the fact that 4 generations of Maharajas once lived here. You will also have the opportunity to take a boatride on Lake Pichola, visit the Garden of the Maids and a museum of folk art.

Today is another day in Udaipur. Take your time to soak up the city of Lakes, rated the most beautiful city of Rajasthan. 

Today after breakfast you will be heading back to Delhi with an overnight stay in Jaipur - also known as the Pink city. You wil marvel at the history and Heritage and architecture of Jaipur all in one. 

After Breakfast today you will be driven back to Delhi (5hrs approx) onward to your next destination.
