Arrival in Luang Prabang and transfer to the hotel (check-in at the hotel from 14:00). The first day is free for you to relax on arrival or to explore the old royal city on your own.

You start the day with a guided tour to the Royal Palace Museum (Haw Kham), which is now the national museum and houses a variety of religious and cultural treasures. Afterwards, a boat trip downstream on the Mekong to the steep limestone cliffs that rise above the Mekong and the Nam Ou River. Your destination is the Pak Ou Caves, which are uniquely decorated with Buddha images of all kinds. On the onward journey, you will stop at the village of Ban Xang Hai, which is famous for its Lao Lao (rice whisky) and traditional hand-woven cotton and silk. Continue to Wat Xien Thong, probably the most beautiful temple in Luang Prabang. Afterwards you will see Wat Mai. In the evening, a visit to the night market (Hmong Market) is on the program.

In the morning, visit the local market near the Royal Palace. Afterwards, drive through the countryside of Luang Prabang to the Kuang Si waterfalls. You have the option of exploring the jungle on foot, walking to the top of the waterfalls and enjoying the beautiful view or swimming in the turquoise blue water. You also have the opportunity to hike to the village of Ban Thapene and visit the bear rescue center. On your way back to Luang Prabang, you will stop in Ock Pop Tok, which is located in a tropical Mekong garden. Here you will learn more about the many ethnic cultures of Laos. From there you drive to Wat Prabath to admire the sunset.

The whole day is at your disposal. You can explore the city on your own or take part in the optional activities.

The optional excursion package "Highlights of 3 countries" includes a full-day elephant experience with trekking (English-speaking). Between 15:00 and 16:00, it's time to say goodbye to the pachyderms and return to your hotel in Luang Parabang.

Today you leave Laos and fly on to your next destination, Vietnam. Flight to Hanoi and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the Vietnamese capital on your own.

Today you will experience the vibrant metropolis of Hanoi, which impresses with its magnificent colonial buildings and pagodas. In the morning, you will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the former home of the legendary politician, where he lived from 1958 to 1969. Afterwards, you will visit Vietnam's most important literary temple and the legendary Chua Mot Cot, also known as the "One Pillar Pagoda". You will take a walk around the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake and visit the so-called "Jade Mountain Temple", the Ngoc Son Temple. Then take a one-hour rickshaw ride through Hanoi's old town, one of the most beautiful in Asia. A performance at the water puppet theater rounds off the day. Overnight stay in Hanoi.

After breakfast, you will travel to the "Bay of the Descending Dragon" with its almost 2000 islands and limestone cliffs. You will board a junk, where you will stay until the next day. Enjoy the overwhelming and fascinating landscape, a seafood dinner and the breathtaking sunset.

In the morning, continue your cruise through the beautiful island world of Halong Bay and enjoy breakfast on board. You will continue your cruise through the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Halong Bay until midday. After lunch, disembark and return to Hanoi. From there you will fly to Hue in central Vietnam. Your tour guide will meet you at the airport and a transfer will take you to your hotel in Hue.

Today you will take a boat trip on the Huong River, also known as the "Perfume River", to the Thien Mu Pagoda, which is well worth seeing. With the Phuoc Duyen Tower, the pagoda is the highest in Vietnam. You then visit the Imperial Palace and tour the venerable imperial city of Hue. You will visit the Trang Tien Bridge, one of the world-famous steel structures designed by Parisian engineer Gustave Eiffel, and explore the Dong Ba market in the old town - a feast for all the senses! Then head to the Tu Duc Tomb - the most luxurious imperial tomb of the Nguyen dynasty. Transfer to the hotel.

As part of the optional excursion package "Highlights of 3 countries", you will have dinner at Y Thao Garden, a charming restaurant surrounded by a garden.

Today's route takes you over the famous Cloud Pass, the weather divide between North and South Vietnam. On a clear day, you have a fantastic view over the coast of Vietnam as far as Da Nang. On this day you will see the kilometer-long beach of Lang Co and the marble mountains in Da Nang. Then continue to nearby Hoi An.

The last stop is the Precious Heritage Museum, which houses the permanent exhibition of Réhan's Precious Heritage Collection. You will then set off with your tour guide on a bicycle tour to the village of Tra Que. There you will take a short walk through the farm's vegetable garden, where you will learn how the farmers work the fields. Afterwards, relax with a short foot bath and a foot massage before preparing lunch together with the villagers. After a break, you say goodbye to your hosts and drive back to the hotel.

The half-day tour to the Cu Chi tunnels is included as part of the optional excursion "Highlights of 3 countries". If you book this excursion, you will fly from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City in the morning. Your transfer guide will take you to your hotel.

Use the afternoon for your own explorations or optionally choose one of the following 3 excursions for an extra charge: Cooking class with boat tour in Hoi An, My Son excursion or excursion to the hills of Ba Na with a visit to the Golden Bridge. From there, you will take the direct route to Da Nang Airport for your onward flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Use the afternoon for your own explorations or enjoy a stroll along the Dong Khoi shopping street.

After breakfast, you will get to know the modern metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City during a city tour. Ho Chi Minh City offers numerous sights such as the historic center, the opera house and the Notre Dame Cathedral. City tour in Ho Chi Minh City with a visit to the central post office (an architectural masterpiece), the Ngoc Hoang pagoda and the Ben Thanh market.

After breakfast, you will go on an excursion to the Mekong Delta. The Mekong Delta is the southernmost region of Vietnam and is also known as the "breadbasket", as the rice for the whole country is grown here. You drive to Ben Tre and start your boat trip on the Mekong River. You stop at a small farm and can sample delicious local fruit and tea. A rickshaw will take you to the restaurant where you will have lunch. Continue by small boat on the narrow waterways back to Ben Tre and transfer to Ho Chi Minh City.

From Ho Chi Minh City, drive to the former fishing village of Phan Thiet/Mui Ne. The village is known for its wide sandy beach with impressive, almost 20-metre-high sand dunes. A wonderful beach vacation awaits you here in the coming days.

After breakfast at the hotel, return to Ho Chi Minh City for the flight to Siem Reap. Arrival in Siem Reap and transfer to the hotel.

After breakfast, you will explore the "wonder of the world" Angkor Wat, which was built over a 40-year period by countless master builders and sculptors on the orders of the most important Khmer king Siriyavaram. In the afternoon, visit the south gate of Angkor Thom. Enter the city through the old South Gate, an impressive stone gate with elephants and four giant faces. On each side of the entrance path, a row of 54 gods or demons hold the sacred Naga snake. You continue to the famous Ta Prohm temple, which was built in the mid-12th to early 13th century. The evening is at leisure.

In the morning, you will visit the well-preserved and ornately decorated Banteay Srei temple. On the way back, you will visit a beautiful, small farming village in the afternoon and learn about the way of life there. Afterwards, you will stop at a pagoda for a monk's blessing, a very special experience. At the end of the day, you can enjoy an unforgettable sunset at the Srah Srang water reservoir and marvel at how the temple complex of Angkor Wat is reflected on the surface of the water as the sun sets.

Today you will go on a boat tour on Tonle Sap Lake with a visit to the floating villages. It is one of the most fish-rich bodies of water in the world. For centuries, people have adapted to the changing water levels influenced by the monsoon rains and the Mekong. Return to the hotel with a stopover for a foot massage.
