Arrival at Milazzo harbour where you will take the hydrofoil to Lipari, the biggest island of the Aeolian archipelago, declared a Unesco World Heritage Site. Dinner on your own and overnight in hotel. (Possibility to add with a supplement a private transfer from Catania/Palermo airport) 

After breakfast you can discover the charming historic center of Lipari. You can visit the ancient Acropolis, the lovely Castle as well as the beautiful Cathedral with its Cloister and the fascinating Archaeological Museum. This documents and illustrates, through numerous artifacts, human settlements and development of successive civilizations in the Aeolian archipelago from prehistoric times to modern times.

In the afternoon, transfer from Lipari harbour to the renowned winery Tenute di Castellaro where you will visit the cellar, walk through the vineyards and enjoy a wine tasting while admiring the sunset overlooking the beautiful islands of Alicudi, Filicudi and Salina. Free time for dinner and overnight in hotel.

After breakfast in hotel, the day will be dedicated to enjoy a boat trip along of the most beautiful coves of Lipari and Salina. The first stop to enjoy both the landscape as well as a relaxing swim will be at the Cave della pomice (pumice quarries). Proceeding on, you will coast the charming Acquacalda bay to finally reach Salina. 

The first stop will be in S. Marina di Salina where you will be able to visit the most important municipality of the island and the splendid homonymous little church with its ancient pieces of faience! You will have to enjoy shopping and to buy local products such as capers and the delicious dessert wine “Malvasia”. Back again on boat, you will stop for a second swim in the stunning bay of Pollara, become famous thanks to the awarded Italian movie “The postman” starred by Massimo Troisi. 

You will then stop in Lingua, a lovely fishermen village where you will have time to visit the salt lake which gave name to the island, or if you prefer, have a rest in one of the lovely coffee bar along the main street of the city centre. For lunch break, we suggest you a stop at the famous Alfredo bar to taste its typical “pani cunzatu” and its delicious granita.

On the way back you will visit the most romantic coves of Lipari and enjoy a swim in the beach of Vinci, facing the Faraglioni. Back to Lipari in the afternoon, free time for dinner and overnight in hotel.

Our fascinating Aeolian archipelago tour continues! Departure by boat from Marina Corta Lipari harbour to the charming and picturesque Panarea. On the way you will have a stop in the amazing Calajunco Bay to enjoy a swim into its turquoise and crystalline waters! You will admire high up the prehistoric village of Capo Milazzese. You will conntinue the panoramic tour among the islets visiting the wonderful Cave of Lovers, and then you will stop at Panarea harbour. 

Once on the island you will have time to visit the Church of St Peter and to enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view, and then reach the prehistoric village of Capo Milazzese. Alternatively you can have seafood lunch, take a stroll along the elegant streets of this tiny village and enjoy a delicious granita in one of the many cafes on the sea front. In the afternoon, you will depart for Stromboli. Along the way you will admire the small village of Ginostra and the gigantic rock Strombolicchio. Once arrived on the island, you will have time to visit this charming village and the house where Ingrid Bergam stayed during the filming of the movie “Stromboli, land of God” and where she fell in love with Roberto Rossellini. 

You will have free time to dinner, to have shopping, to have a nice walk in the magnificent gardens of this nice Island or have a swim in the beautiful cobalt blue waters. Back to the boat at sunset, you will admire the Sciara del Fuoco, a steep slope crossed by lava streams of and reddish lapilli. In the evening return to Lipari, free time for dinner and overnight in hotel.

During your stay on the island, in addition to the boat excursions proposed to visit the archipelago, we suggest you to rent a scooter and explore Lipari on your own. You can thus reach and visit some of the lovely bays of the island, such as the beautiful Spiaggia Bianca (you can reach it both by sea and by land through a staircase decorated with majolica) which is located at the foot of the pumice quarries, ad characterized by the magnificent turquoise color of the water, made by the effect of gravelly bottoms due to the past mining of pumice stone. 

Among the numerous coves we suggest you to visit we mention the Pietra Liscia beach (smaller and not equipped) and Porticello. For diving and snorkeling lovers, we recommend Punta Castagna and Gabbiano beach, an idyllic cove! If you move further north you will reach the Acquacalda bay, one of the most evocative bay of the island with a view over Salina.

Continuing to the north-west you can admire spectacular cliffs and unforgettable sunsets, while in the south-west part, with a view over the stacks and Vulcano, you can reach the beaches of Valle Muria and Vinci. Both are difficult to reach by foot because you have to walk along impervious paths but the beauty of the water and the view reward the effort. If you do not want to go far from the center of Lipari, beyond the promontory of Monte Rosa, it is possible to reach in a few minutes the beach of Canneto: the busiest bay on the island, about 2 km long, also reachable by bus (about 5 minutes far from the center). Your tour of the fascinating Aeolian archipelago continues with the visit of Vulcano! The day will start by skirting Vulcanello, along the bay where the lava has created fantastic figures in the striking Valley of Monsters! Leaving on the right the Faraglioni and the Grotta degli Angeli, you will admire the active volcano and the Black Sand Bay, renowned for its long volcanic sand beach. You will then continue until the Grotta del Cavallo, near which is the Venus Pool with its crystal waters. 

You will continue sailing along the island until Gelso, a small village almost uninhabited where you will stop for a swim. Lastly, you will reach Levante harbour, where you will be greeted by the acrid smell of sulfur. There, you will have time for a tour around the village, a swim in the pool of sludge or in the geotermic pools. For those who desire, there will be an opportunity to climb up the crater! The climb is 1 km long and it offers a breathtaking view of the islands and the crater itself, optional and on your own without a guide. Return to Lipari in the afternoon. Free time for dinner and overnight in hotel.

After breakfast, day at your leisure or (with supplement) boat excursion,  you will discover the two wild islands of Aeolian Archipelago: Alicudi e Filicudi. You will start the crossing towards Filicudi till Grotta del Bue Marino, where you can enjoy an unforgettable swim. Afterwards you will reach the faraglioni: Montenassari, Giafante and especially Canna, a peculiar volcanic nek 1.800 m wide and 71 m high. Then you will stop and visit the prehistoric village of Capo Graziano. Before leaving, we suggest you to see “The millstones of Filicudi”, which are located in front of the underwater archaeological area, and where the craftsmen, facilitated by the layered structure of the rocks, modeled the enormous stones for the wheat and olive mills.

In the early afternoon you will sail to Alicudi, the westernmost and least populated of the entire Aeolian archipelago. Almost perfectly circular in shape, it is characterized by splendid views of the sea, dry terraces, and narrow granite coves which are the only access routes to the beaches. Within the island there are no asphalted roads but paths that can be explored by donkey, the only means of transport on the island. Return to Lipari in the afternoon. Free time for dinner and overnight in hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to the harbor to reach the hydrofoil for Milazzo. End of our services.
