Expereince Rwanda Gorilla's, Gouden Apen & Chimpansees Tour (Exclusief privé)

After breakfast you will set off into the forest; very early in the morning, to track chimpanzees. You will have the best opportunity to encounter humankind’s closest living relative in the early morning.

This time will also give you a higher chance to encounter other animals and bird species in this park. In the afternoon you will return to the lodge for lunch.

In the evening you will take off on a canopy walk where you will view different animal species and beautiful landscape. After this walk you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

In the morning, you will set off with a scenic drive northwards towards the Volcanoes national park in current day Musanze, depending on the road conditions.

You can drive with great views of Lake Kivu which is one of the most beautiful and largest lake in Rwanda bordering the Democratic Republic of Congo or use the other optional route.

The drive is long and the winding roads make it enjoyable together with the wonderful scenery as you appreciate the formation of the Great East African Rift Valley giving you a wonderful scenery, as your guide to stop for photography and whenever you feel like stretching up.

After an early morning breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters together with your packed lunch early enough to be briefed about the code of conduct while with the gorillas. Then, enter the forest in search of the gorillas, which may take 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas in the jungle. Meet and stay with the gorillas for a maximum of 1 hour.

Later, visit the Gorilla Guardians Village (Ibyiwacu Cultural Village).

The Iby’iwacu cultural village is one of the leading cultural attractions in Rwanda. The Village combines all of Rwanda’s known cultural traditions, people and history into one place for display and a personal experience. International visitors get to see what life was in a typical African village setting – the lifestyle, houses, traditional dances, dressing code, food, herbs and how the ancient kingdoms were generally organized. Tourists are given an opportunity to learn ancient hunting skills, try weaving baskets/mats, carpentry. This unique experience has won the hearts of many visitors who wish to indulge in the culture of Rwanda’s native community.

After breakfast, report to the park headquarters for your first experience of endangered species in the Volcanoes National Park. 

The Golden Monkey trek is normally an easy trek that takes 1-2 hours. 

Later, be transferred to Kigali.
