Je wordt opgehaald bij je accommodatie in Bogotá en meegenomen op een excursie met gids, waarbij je de belangrijkste historische locaties in La Candelaria tegenkomt. Enkele van de stops op je tour door Bogotá's oudste wijk zijn Bolivar Plaza, Casa Nariño (het huis van de president), Paleis van Justitie, Catedral Primada de Colombia, Iglesia de San Francisco, Colón Theater, Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Carmen, Séptima (Carrera 7) en het Chorro de Quevedo Plaza.
Tijdens je verblijf in La Candelaria kun je een paar uur wandelen door El Museo del Oro (Goudmuseum) van Bogotá. Dit grote museum met 3 verdiepingen toont een selectie van precolumbiaans goud, andere metaallegeringen en een mix van aardewerk, steen, schelp, hout en textiele voorwerpen/textiel. Ze zijn allemaal gemaakt door oude inheemse Colombiaanse culturen. Met meer dan 55.000 gouden voorwerpen is dit de grootste verzameling gouden voorwerpen ter wereld.
Nadat je dit verbazingwekkende museum hebt bezocht en de vele prachtige plekken hebt gezien die La Candelaria te bieden heeft, is het tijd om naar de grote hoogte van 3152 meter en de top van Monserrate te klimmen; bijna 2.000 meter hoger dan Bogotá. Naast het leren over het historische belang van deze berg voor de inheemse Musica, zul je ook genieten van een wandeling over de ambachtelijke markten, een bezoek brengen aan een prachtig 17e-eeuws klooster en genieten van enkele van de meest spectaculaire panoramische uitzichten over de hoofdstad van deze geweldige natie.
Je wordt opgehaald op het vliegveld en begint deze ervaring met een ritje met de kabelbaan over de honderden huizen in Comuna 13. Veel van deze huizen en nederzettingen behoren toe aan ontheemden van het platteland. Door een gecompliceerd intern conflict tussen de FARC, het Colombiaanse leger, paramilitairen en drugshandelaren zijn er in Colombia meer dan 7 miljoen mensen ontheemd geraakt.
Vervolgens ga je Comuna 13 binnen, iets wat 15 jaar geleden ondenkbaar zou zijn geweest vanwege het geweld en het gebrek aan veiligheid. Niet alleen is dit de belangrijkste straatkunstwijk in Medellin, het is ook de plek waar de allereerste elektrische roltrappen in de open lucht ter wereld werden gemonteerd. Je krijgt de kans om deze roltrappen te berijden en de betekenis achter veel van de graffiti te leren kennen.
Na deze ongelofelijke rondleiding door de graffiti kun je gaan genieten van een fruitproeverij van een aantal van de meest verbazingwekkende tropische vruchten op Plaza la America. Deze plek heeft bijna elke vrucht die je je maar kunt voorstellen en zo veel dat we garanderen dat je ze nog nooit hebt gezien!
Je geniet van een prachtige rit naar een uitstekende koffieboerderij in Antioquia, waar je een volledige rondleiding en uitleg krijgt over het hele proces van het verbouwen van de perfecte koffieboon. Je zult het proces begrijpen van het planten, het met de hand plukken van de rijpste bonen, het ontpulpen, wassen, sorteren in klassen, drogen, branden en uiteindelijk het maken van het perfecte brouwsel.
Als je verder gaat met je rondleiding, stop je bij een replica van het oude stadsplein van Peñol. De oorspronkelijke stad is gezonken en ligt nu op de bodem van het Guatape meer. Het enige stuk dat nog zichtbaar is, is de spiraal van de kerktoren.
Het volgende avontuur van vandaag is La Piedra (De Rots of beter bekend als de Rots van Guatape). Dit is gewoon een prachtige en enorme steen die hoog boven het meer van Guatape uittorent. Eenmaal hier heb je de mogelijkheid om de 740 treden naar de top te beklimmen, met een adembenemend uitzicht bij elke stap.
Hierna maak je een stop in Guatape stad (De Stad van Zocalos) waar je door de straten van deze prachtige stad loopt en leert wat de Zocalo traditie is en waarom het begonnen is. Je bezoekt ook de Plaza (het centrale plein), Remembrance Street, de promenade (Malecón), de kerk, misschien een ritje met de tuk-tuk en nog veel meer.
Als je Guatape eenmaal hebt ontdekt, is het tijd voor een ander gezichtspunt in een helikopter waar je over het meer en Guatape vliegt.
Je begint met een bezoek aan Parques del Río, een centrale locatie die bekend staat om zijn infrastructuur en het beeldhouwwerk van Ugo Rondinone, Colores de la montaña. Daarna verken je Barefoot Park, een zintuiglijke ervaring met water, bamboepaden en pierenbadjes.
Als je je reis voortzet, ontdek je het Civic Center van Medellin, met het stadhuis, het Park der Lichten en belangrijke erfgoedgebouwen. Parque San Antonio wacht op je met Botero's sculpturen, waaronder de gekwetste vogel en de vredesvogel.
Botero Plaza, ook bekend als Sculptures Park, heeft 23 sculpturen van Fernando Botero. Daarna bezoek je het Cultural Palace en de koloniale kerken Candelaria en la Iglesia de la Veracruz.
Tot slot verken je Parque Memorial Inflexion, voorheen bekend als het Monaco Building, een herdenkingspark ter ere van slachtoffers van narcoterrorisme. Het park toont eerbetonen aan belangrijke figuren en displays van bomaanslagen en terroristische aanslagen, die de donkere periode van 1984-1993 benadrukken.

By placing a booking with BnB Colombia, Inc. you (the client) and your booking party agree to all of the following terms, conditions, and policies as set out below. During any of the tours, you agree to abide by the subsequent conditions as set out below. If you have any questions about booking with us, please contact us before making a reservation.
Traveling Details Form:
Prior to accepting any reservation, we require all travelers to complete our Travelers Details Form. All sections must be completed and a copy of each traveler’s passport photo page must be provided (can be in black and white).
Why do we ask for this?
Colombian regulations require hotels, tour operators, and travel agencies to keep a copy of customers’ passports on file and to provide them to authorities on request. Without this documentation, we may not be able to honor your reservation.
For example, if the transportation is stopped by police, the driver must know who they are transporting, and to be able to provide the information to the police at this time.
Foreign residents are also exempt from a 19% IVA (VAT) tax.
By providing a valid overseas passport we do not charge this 19% IVA tax.
Without this documentation, we are required to charge you this tax.
Payments and Service Fees:
Private Package Tours: At the time of booking a 30% deposit is required to guarantee your reservation and tour date. The remaining balance is to be paid 60 days before the tour start date.
Group Package Tours: At the time of booking a 30% deposit is required to guarantee your reservation and tour date. The remaining balance is to be paid 60 days before the tour start date.
Changes to Tours:
We reserve the right to make small changes during your tour or prior to your tour date. This may be caused by extreme weather, safety or health concerns, traffic delays, changes to operational hours of experiences and destinations, other logistical issues, or just recommendations from previous clients that will improve your experience. You will be advised of any changes that may be made.
After payment has been received, you may request changes to your itinerary. If available, these changes will be provided with an additional cost that must be paid prior to the tour date. Changes to your itinerary cannot be requested after the tour start date.
If a tour finishes early, any additional experiences requested will require an additional payment.
If time permits during transfers small stoppages are permitted for photos or bathroom breaks.
Longer stops of 15 minutes or more will require an additional payment unless pre-arranged in the itinerary.
Additional tours during the process of a transfer are not permitted.
Photos taken during Tours:
We reserve the right to use any photos and or videos taken during transfers or tours in future social media posts or in the publication of our tours. These photos and or videos may or may not include travelers. If you do not wish to be included in any photos or videos please put this in writing to your destination expert or email [email protected].
Cancellation, Non-Arrival (No-show), and Refund Policy:
All cancellations must be made in writing to [email protected] and will not be accepted via telephone. In case of a cancellation or change to plans already booked, we advise clients to contact us immediately for a solution, however, cancellation fees may apply.
Day Tours & Private Transfers:
If you wish to change or cancel your reservation for any reason 72 hours or more prior to the start of your tour or transportation you will receive a full refund, which will be provided within 7 working days.
If you wish to change or cancel your reservation for any reason less than 72 hours prior to the start of your tour or transportation you will lose the complete value of your tour and/or transportation.
“No Shows” will lose the complete value of your tour and/or transportation.

To keep our prices as low as possible (residents of foreign countries are not required to pay IVA for accommodation, transportation, or tours) and for security reasons, we keep a register of all persons who stay with us and/or book tours through our website, this includes the full names, nationality, home addresses, telephone numbers, and copies of passport photo pages, and passport numbers. These records are kept for a minimum of 12 months.
This information may also be used for the purposes of marketing, understanding our client base, and improving our services to the general public.
Our policy surrounding the personal details you provide as part of any booking or inquiry through this website / or a third-party website, including the privacy of those details is explained and set out in our Privacy policy.
Liability and Travel Insurance
BnB Colombia Tours Inc. accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, accident, injury, sickness, or schedule change due to weather, strike, natural disaster, or any other cause beyond our control. Including any default or delay caused by any guide, tour, or transport provider, or any other person’s or company’s acts. BnB Colombia Tours reserves the right to alter routes, itineraries, or departure times, without prior notice, should the necessity arise. In the case of any changes to flights or to scheduled ground travel, you are responsible for additional costs incurred as a result of such changes. We, therefore, advise all travelers it is mandatory for you to obtain comprehensive travel insurance to meet all contingencies. This insurance must cover personal injury and emergency medical expenses. You are strongly recommended to extend your coverage to include cancellation, curtailment, and all other expenses that may arise due to loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience while traveling. You acknowledge that insurance coverage is not included in the cost of any tour offered by BnB Colombia Tours, and you are required to obtain separate coverage at an additional cost. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have sufficient coverage and comply with the terms of the applicable insurance plans. You are responsible for advising your insurer of the type of travel, destination(s), and activities included in your booking so that the insurer may provide appropriate coverage.
Our Right To Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel any booking without compensation, refund, or reimbursement if the terms of these conditions are breached.
We reserve the right to remove any person without compensation, refund, or reimbursement from a shared group tour for operational issues.
Changes to Terms, Conditions, and Policies:
BnB Colombia Tours has the discretion to update these terms, conditions, and privacy policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

Private Package Tour: A multi-day private tour that includes multiple tours with a duration of more than 1 day.
Group Package Tour: A multi-day package tour shared with other travelers that may have booked separately to you. It includes multiple tours with a duration of more than 1 day.

Transportation: The service of transporting a person(s) from one location to another location. May include car, bus, van, plane, 4×4
Accommodation: The location a person(s) may sleep. May include hostel, hotel, Finca, farm, private residents, shared rooms, and private rooms.
Free Date Changes: There is no service fee for providing the changes to the dates of your private day tour if made at least 48 hours before the tour start date.
There is no service fee for providing the changes to the dates of your private package tour if made at least 31 days before the tour start date.
There is no service fee for providing the changes to the dates of your group package tour if made at least 65 days before the tour start date.
All non-refundable expenses incurred by BnB Colombia tours, such as flights, accommodation, pre-paid transportation, pre-paid guides, pre-paid experiences, and pre-paid tours will be assessed and required to confirm any changes.
Lifetime Credit: Credit with BnB Colombia Tours that is equal to the value of the deposit of your package(s), or day tour(s) until such time as you decide to enjoy it.
Excludes non-refundable expenses incurred by BnB Colombia tours, such as flights, accommodation, pre-paid transportation, pre-paid guides, pre-paid experiences, pre-paid tours, + 5% of the package tours value to cover the salary costs of BnB Colombia Tours employees.
