Bardiya National Park, the largest one in the Terai belt of Nepal, has sheltered over 30 different species of mammals, 250 species of birds (including the migratory), and several other species of reptiles within its vicinity. This protected site is mostly covered by the Sal trees, creating a welcoming ambiance for the visitors who are on a safari tour. Nothing is so beautiful than watching the gushing surface water of Karnali river kissing the outskirts of the National park; while gharials bask on the sunny bank during the day, the occasional encounter of Gangetic Dolphin (endangered species) is also an unignorable fact. What’s more, the chances of tiger sightings are more in this National Park than any other. Therefore, by all means, Bardia Safari Tour is a perfect tour to kickstart.
Early in the morning, we will catch a flight to Napaljung and ride to Bardia. It is a pleasant ride along the winding highway that constantly gazes upon the lush greenery around. Once we reach Bardiya, our guide will accompany us to our hotel and explain all the briefings about the jungle activities.
During the late afternoon, we will go for a short walk along the buffer zone of the forest and enjoy the wilderness of Bardia.

Being the largest National Park in the Terai belt of Nepal, Bardia National Park has remained a natural domain for many exotic species including many endangered ones such as Gharials, Royal Bengal Tiger, one-horned rhinoceros, etc. Plus, this NP has sheltered over 250 different species of birds.
During the elephant safari, we will intrude into the deepest part of the forest, just to get surprised by the wild creatures. Perhaps, because of less traffic, this region is unspoiled from human invasion. We will enjoy the wilderness of Bardia to its fullest.
In the dense woods of Bardia, there are a lot of jungle activities to go for. We will go to the elephant breeding center and crocodile breeding center to see how the elephants and crocodiles are bred by mating with their respective species. There is a white-water rafting activity in the gushing river of Karnali, which is a wonderful opportunity to challenge one’s adrenaline. Likewise, there is also a bird watching tour in the Bardia National Park.
