De trektocht gaat voor het grootste deel door een rivierdal en komt uiteindelijk in het amfitheater waar je wordt omringd door de enorme bergen.
Het bergwandelavontuur wordt nog mooier met de vermenging van culturele verkenning in Kathmandu. Je zult genieten van een erfgoedtour in Kathmandu voordat je de bergen intrekt. Naast de culturele verkenning in Kathmandu zul je ook een rustige en gemakkelijke tijd hebben in het prachtige Pokhara. Bij aankomst in Nepal wacht onze vertegenwoordiger je op op het vliegveld van Kathmandu. Daarna brengt onze vertegenwoordiger je in een auto naar het hotel in Kathmandu waar je zult verblijven.
Onze tourmanager en trekkinggids bereiden 's avonds een trekkingbriefing voor waar je informatie krijgt over de ABC Trek.

Om Pokhara te bereiken rijd je 's ochtends vroeg door het adembenemende Nepalese platteland.
Je krijgt de kans om de rust van de minder bezochte gebieden van Nepal in je op te nemen en een glimp op te vangen van de charmante dorpjes langs de weg.
Pokhara is een schilderachtige en recreatieve bestemming waar je tot rust kunt komen naast het prachtige Fewa meer. Na de vermoeiende reis kun je op eigen gelegenheid ontspannen en overnachten in het hotel.
Na het ontbijt ontmoeten en verwelkomen we het team van dragers en gidsen. Zij zullen er zijn om ons de hele trektocht te ondersteunen en te helpen.
Daarna vertrekken we uit het vakantieoord Pokhara en reizen we een uur met de auto naar het beginpunt van onze trektocht, Nayapul.
In het stadje Nayapul zijn verschillende winkels die wandelbenodigdheden verkopen. Dit is de plek om je last-minute inkopen te doen, want onze tocht begint meteen daarna.
Na een uur wandelen komen we aan in Birethanti, een kleine nederzetting aan de voet van de Modi Khola Vallei. We komen aan in Tikhedhunga na het oversteken van een paar hangbruggen en het beklimmen van een behoorlijk aantal trappen. De wandeling van vandaag duurt ongeveer vier uur.
Na het ontbijt maken we ons klaar voor de tamelijk inspannende beklimming, die begint met de scherpe klim over de stenen trappen naar het dorp Ulleri. De tocht biedt een adembenemende natuurlijke omgeving en uitzicht op de Himalaya, ook al is hij behoorlijk zwaar.
De adembenemende ervaring van het reizen door de prachtige rododendron- en eikenbossen zal je de kracht geven om deze trappen te beklimmen.
We komen aan in Ghorepani na zeven uur lopen, waarbij we onderweg regelmatig stoppen. Ontspan in het theehuis terwijl je geniet van het adembenemende uitzicht op de Annapurna en Dhaulagiri bergketens.
We beginnen onze 40 minuten durende wandeling naar Poon Hill (3210 m) voor zonsopgang om getuige te zijn van de prachtige zonsopgang.
Een van de hoogtepunten van onze trektocht, Poon Hill belooft een adembenemend uitzicht op het rododendronbos, een ongehinderde zonsopgang over de hoge Himalaya en een panorama van de Annapurna, Dolpo, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Machhapuchre (Fish Tail) en Manasalu vanuit het uiterste westen van de Himalaya.
We vervolgen onze tocht naar Tadapani nadat we zijn teruggekeerd naar Gorepani voor het ontbijt. Er zijn monumenten, gedenktekens en natuurlijk bloeien er mooiere rododendrons langs de wandeling.
Ook deze trektocht naar Chhuile daalt af door een eiken- en rododendronbos. Je hebt een uitstekende gelegenheid om Fishtail, Himchuli en de Annapurna South van dichtbij te zien. Je wandelt verder naar beneden en steekt de Modi rivier over, met lunchpauzes in de kleine nederzettingen.
De route naar Chhumrong, de ABC ingang, is nu eenvoudig en ongecompliceerd. Het mooiste Gurung dorp. Geniet van een gezellig en vlekkeloos verblijf in het guesthouse.
Het pad daalt af naar de Chhumrung rivier voordat het naar Sinuwa klimt. Daarna wordt de weg vlakker tot hij Khuldi Ghar nadert voordat hij afdaalt naar Bamboo. Bamboe groeit tussen struikgewas en grote rotsen.
De stilte van de wandeling kan worden verbroken door het geluid van slingerende apen in de bomen. Na de lunch word je begroet door de geluiden van rivieren en watervallen terwijl je je een weg baant door een bamboebos en de Himalaya inloopt.
Na het ontbijt trekken we van de Himalaya naar het Annapurna Base Camp. We volgen de route van Modi Khola Glacier Valley, Hinku Cave en de lodges van Deurali en betreden het Annapurna Sanctuary, dat ons naar onze bestemming ABC leidt. Tijdens deze tocht zien we de Annapurna gletsjers, Machhapuchhre Base Camp, Hiunchuli, Annapurna South tot Annapurna I (8,097m/26,566ft), en Khangsar Kang, Gangapurna, Annapurna III en Machhapuchhare.
Omringd door steile kliffen en trapsgewijze watervallen biedt de wandeling een serene omgeving. De afdaling is aangenaam met sereen natuurschoon en waarnemingen van wilde dieren langs de route, hoewel er voorzichtig genavigeerd moet worden, vooral op steile stukken. Donvan is een rustige pauze voordat de afdaling wordt hervat.
De tocht van Dovan naar Jhinu Danda biedt een verscheidenheid aan lichte stijgingen en dalingen terwijl je door weelderige bossen en schilderachtige landschappen rijdt.
Het uitzicht wordt opener en uitgestrekter naarmate je afdaalt naar Jhinu Danda, met uitzicht op de naburige valleien en bergen.
Op deze laatste wandeldag verlaten we Jhinu Danda en lopen we vier tot vijf uur over een gemakkelijk te volgen pad langs de Modi Khola rivier naar Birethanti Village.
Daarna gaan we via Nayapul terug naar Pokhara. De wandeling en reis van vandaag duren zes tot zeven uur.
Met veel mooie herinneringen aan Nepal en haar bijzondere cultuur en geografie keren we vandaag terug voor een zes tot zeven uur durende reis naar Kathmandu.

Booking of a Trip
To ensure the booking of a trip with us, you will have to deposit 20% of the total cost in our bank account. We will forward you our bank details when you are ready to book. Once we receive the deposit, we will confirm your booking for you desired trip.
The balance amount of the trip is payable upon your arrival in Kathmandu on the first day.
Payment
While you can bank transfer on pay online the advance deposit, the balance can be paid either in cash or by card on the first day of the trip in Kathmandu. We accept cash in USD or other convertible currency and also the payment by visa or master cards.
Travelers Cheque, however, is not accepted.
Trip Cancellation
The trip once booked is guaranteed to depart. But Approved Holidays reserves all rights to cancel the trip without prior consent of the client. However, there is less chance of cancellation from our side unless we go through any unforeseeable and uncontrollable situation like natural disasters and troubles.
We will inform you of any such situation and discuss with you to plan the trip for some next possible date. But if you do not want to continue in such situation, we will refund you the deposited amount which may take some time because of our current banking policy. We appreciate your patience and cooperation in such situation.
But if you cancel the trip, for any reason, we will not be able to refund you the deposited amount. If there appears the situation where you will not be able to travel as scheduled, you can definitely talk to us to postpone the trip for another date. We will schedule the trip for another date for the same deposited amount. However the total cost of the trip may differ depending upon the time of the year that you postpone the trip to. The difference in cost is just a possibility.
Travel Insurance
Insuring you travel is for your convenience and safety. Travel Insurance can prove highly helpful and beneficial in time of need, especially while you are travelling. We highly recommend that you buy a travel insurance policy before you travel to Nepal on any of our trip. While most of our holidays are soft adventures indulging in culture, nature, and spirituality, you may like to enjoy some optional adventure activities.
Having travel insurance will keep you comfortable in time of need. To cover you against your possible accident, death, sickness, evacuation, repatriation, loss of your luggage etc., you will need to buy an insurance that covers all these categories.
Itinerary
While our itineraries are customizable before the time of booking, we will not be able to bring major changes on it once the trip is confirmed and is near to the departure date. However, we will try our best to do whatever we can to change it to suit your interest if there is any need to do so. But we cannot guarantee that the major changes can take place.
We operate our tours in association with other local partners like hotels, airlines, buses and other service providers. And any major changes that you request near the departure date are the subject to availability.
Risk Acceptance
When you book a tour with us, you fully understand and acknowledge that you are taking up this tour on your own risk.
Approved Holidays offers tours in the safest mode possible with the best care. However, for any unfortunate situation, despite our attempts to avoid any such, Approved Holidays will not be held responsible.

To ameliorate the country’s tourism sector, much effort is put into making our rendering of services at a level that exceeds the rest. Our customer’s satisfaction and happiness are our foremost priority. Please go through our terms and conditions carefully before booking your trip with us! These terms and conditions are effective from the date you booked the trip us:
GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS
For Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan Tours. A photocopy of your passport and a 20% deposit of the total cost of the trip should be provided to us by you while booking the trip. The 20% deposit amount is non-refundable once you have made the down payment for the trip. The deposit will be considered as a trip cancellation fee if you cancel your trip on any day after booking the trip with us. The remaining amount can be paid upon your arrival in Kathmandu before you set out for your trek/tour.
Note: In Bhutan and Tibet tours, you need to pay the balance amount 20 days before your departure date if you intend to fly to those countries directly. We reserve our right to cancel your trip if you could not make your payment within our stipulated time.
LAST-MINUTE BOOKING
We even accept the last-minute booking. You can book a trip to Nepal 1 days before the trip departure dates. However, last-minute bookings may not be acceptable in the case of the Bhutan or Tibet trips.
POSTPONE THE TRIP
Written notice should be sent to us if you cannot travel on the allocated days due to any reason.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cancel your trip, please be informed that the 20% deposit you made upon booking the trip with us will be considered as a trip cancellation fee. And this policy is effectively applicable right after you confirmed your booking with us. The 20% deposit is non-refundable.
The following cancellation charges will apply if a confirmed booking is cancelled:
46 days or more before the trip departure date:
30% of the total tour cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
45 to 31 days before the trip departure date:
40% of the total tour cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
30 to 15 days before the trip departure date:
60% of the total tour cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
14 days or less before the trip departure date:
100% of the total tour cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
And if you have paid more than the trip deposit, we shall reduce the 20% trip deposit from that amount, and the remaining balance will be refunded to you via the original payment method.
ITINERARY
All our tours run on the basis of the itinerary included. However, in unforeseen circumstances, there may be a need to change the itinerary during your tour. In such a case the guide has sole discretion. if he/she deems it necessary for the safety of travellers and the crew members.
COST INCLUSION
All our tours have a section that clearly mentions what is included in the cost of your tour and what is not. Please read the “Includes and Excludes” section carefully before booking. All the expenses incurred by you other than mentioned in the itinerary will be your responsibility.
RISK AND LIABILITIES
All of the Nepal, China, and Bhutan tours are conducted under the strict rules and regulations of the tourism board of the respective country. We are not liable for any changes or cancellations of the trip under unavoidable circumstances like change in the rules and regulations of the country, any government restrictions, natural disasters, political instability, cancellations of flights, delays, sickness or accidents, breakdown of vehicles, etc. Any extra cost incurred due to such circumstances shall have to be borne by the clients themselves. Therefore, travel insurance is highly recommended.
INCOMPLETE TOUR
We are not liable for any refunds in case of any incomplete tour, trek, or expedition, whatever the reason from the customer’s side.
UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
If your trip gets cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters, war, or unfavourable climatic conditions, we will arrange another trip for you. So even if your trip won’t be the one you had chosen, your money will not go in vain.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is mandatory to have a comprehensive travel insurance package for all our clients to join any of our adventures. The insurance must cover all the medical expenses, personal accidents, emergency evacuations, trip cancellations, loss of gears and natural calamity, theft of or damage to baggage, and personal effects.
FLIGHT DELAY/CANCELLATION
Flight delays and cancellations are likely to happen often during bad weather conditions in remote areas, particularly in the Everest region, the Annapurna region, Dolpo, Simikot, and Jumla region. Therefore, it is advisable to carry some extra money to buy food and accommodations in case of delays. Approved Holidays will not be responsible for any of the additional expenses. Therefore, please plan accordingly.
DURING THE TOUR
If you commit any unlawful act during your tour and are compelled to leave Nepal, Approved Holidays is not liable for any refunds.
WARNING
Our terms and conditions are applicable only if you book your trip with us directly. If you book your trip with us through any agents or third party, you shall be liable to their terms and conditions.
PRIVACY POLICY
We will collect your contact details at the time of your booking which, you fully acknowledge, we will use it for contacting you and sending you information related to the tour. You also acknowledge that we may use your email address to send you our special discount offers and other promotional materials in the future. However, all the information you provide to us will not be disclosed to any third party except our affiliated service providers like airlines, hotels and government authorities at the time of your tour operates.

4. Opsporings- en reddingsregeling: In het ergste geval, wanneer zoek- en reddingsoperaties nodig zijn, worden er afspraken gemaakt met een verzekeringsmaatschappij om je veiligheid te garanderen.
5. Toepasselijke overheidsbelastingen en servicekosten: Alle van toepassing zijnde overheidsbelastingen en servicekosten zijn inbegrepen in het pakket.
6. Salaris, eten, drinken, accommodatie, vervoer en verzekering voor de gids en dragers.
Deze inclusies zijn bedoeld om een soepele en probleemloze trekkingervaring in de Annapurna regio te bieden.
