Sneeuwschoen safari voor Karelisch dorp
-We gaan naar de nabijgelegen bossen en, afhankelijk van de ijscondities, ook naar het bevroren Pielinen-meer. Je zult je zeker in het zweet werken tijdens het wandelen over de besneeuwde paden. We eindigen de safari bij een wildernishut, waar we heerlijke kampvuurpannenkoeken maken met roetkoffie.
Voordat je aan de tocht begint, word je uitgerust met de juiste uitrusting (je kunt ook je eigen winterkleding dragen) en krijg je advies over de juiste sneeuwschoentechniek en hoe je je schoenen moet aanpassen. Voor deze safari is een goede algemene conditie vereist.

Glijdende sneeuwschoen
Sliding Snowshoe Safari amidst Wintery forest
Embark on a two-hour guided sliding snowshoe safari in the nearby forest! Explore the enchanting scenery, enjoy the soothing atmosphere of the pine forest and white snowdrifts. If weather conditions allow, we may also ski onto the frozen Lake Pielinen. This tour is all about great exercise!
We will end the tour with lighting a campfire and enjoying coffee at a wilderness hut. Each snowshoer will also have the opportunity make themselves a campfire pancake! Welcome to experience a great adventure in crisp winter weather!
Before embarking on the tour, you will be equipped with suitable gear (you can also participate wearing your own winter gear) and advised on sliding snowshoe features and technique. Sliding snowshoes combine the best features of snowshoes and forest skis. They offer a good grip when skiing uphill and allow for a bit of speed when skiing downhill. This safari requires a good level of general fitness.

Any cancellation by you must be made in writing (letter or email). The date on the letter/email received by us will determine the cancellation charges applicable. The cancellation charges are expressed as a percentage of the total

• More than 30 days before commencement of the tour: 0 % of the total cost.
• Between 29 and 15 days before commencement of the tour: 20 %
• Between 14 and 7 days before commencement of the tour: 40 %
• Less than 6 days before commencement of the tour 60 %
• On the day of the commencement of the tour or now-show 100 % of the total cost.
CANCELLATION BY US
When a change is a major change, we will advise you as soon as possible. You will then have the choice of accepting
the change, taking an alternative holiday (and where this is of a lower price we will refund the difference), or
withdrawing from the contract and accepting a full refund of all monies paid. Major changes are cancellation due to
underbooking or force majeure.
