9 Dagen Kruger, Namibië en Vic Falls

Upon traveling to Kruger National Park, you will be treated to the most beautiful scenery in  Mpumalanga through meanders of wind and a beacon to look out the window and soak in the  beauty of nature. Kruger National Park is located in the beautiful province of Mpumalanga.

South Africa and is one of the biggest game reserves in Africa, home to the BIG 5: lion, buffalo,  rhino, elephant, and leopards. Kruger National Park is the largest national park in South Africa  and the first one to ever be established in 1926. Not only is it home to the big five, but it is also

an epicentre for reptiles and bird life, having at least 517 bird species, 114 reptile species, and  147 large mammal species. Kruger National Park, besides being a haven for wildlife, is also  home to not one but six different rivers that run through the park, such as the Sable, Olifants,  Crocodile, Letaba, Luvuvhu, and the Limpopo River, giving one backdrop and watering holes  that animals frequently drink. Enjoy this afternoon safari with a visit to Skukuza to grab a bit to  eat before heading out to check into your overnight accommodation in Hazy View. 17:00pm-17:30pm Travel to Tembo Guest Lodge 

With departure from the accommodation estimated at 5.30 am. This promises to be the climax of  our wildlife experience. The Kruger National Park safari! An early morning safari provides an  opportunity to see what wildlife does in the morning, particularly the cat family, which is constantly  on the quest for their next meal. Various creatures will return from hunts, and this is the ideal time  to witness them in action. We will arrive at the nearest gate, ready to be ushered early in the  morning and experience wildlife at the various stages of the day. We will explore the park for the  whole day with a quick popping to have breakfast and Lunch at the famous Skukuza Camp  Located inside the Kruger National Park. Our day will end at around 4 pm when we depart from  the park and head back to our accommodation in Hazyview and reflect on the wonderful day we  had. 

05:00am-10:30pm: Morning safari

We will rise early in the morning for our morning safari and get ready to jump inside the park as  earliest as possible to get a feel of what this wildlife does in the wee hours of the morning. This also serves us an opportunity to see what wildlife does in the morning and especially the cat family who are always hunting for their next meal. Various creatures will be coming back from  hunts, and this will be the perfect time to see them in action. We will also get an opportunity to  have our pre -packed breakfast prepared from the hotel and experience the best 4 hours in the  morning.

10:00am-11:00am: Return to overnight accommodation to collect luggage and check out.

1100am-16:00pm: Travel from Kruger National Park (with one pit stop for bathroom and lunch at  own cost at Middleburg) to Johannesburg.

Traveling to the Kruger National Park takes about 4 hours and 30 minutes. Overnight accommodation: City lodge OR Tambo hotel

After having breakfast, you will make your way from the Hotel to the international departure  counter at the airport and catch your flight to Walvis Bay.   

Upon arrival at Walvis Bay, you will be welcomed by another representative or chauffeur who  will transfer you to pre-booked accommodation in Swakopmund. You will have the rest of the  afternoon at your leisure, with an option to go for quad biking or camel riding.

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up and make your way to the sandwich harbor  tour. The sandwich harbor is located in Namibia, is a stunning coastal lagoon and bay, known  for its breathtaking scenery and unique landscape. On this tour you will get to experience  stunning views of the dunes, sea, and sky, as well as wildlife such as seals, flamingos, jackals,  and springbok on a 4×4. After the tour we will have lunch at a local restaurant close to the hotel.

Enjoy breakfast at your Walvis Bay hotel before transferring to the airport for your flight to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. Upon arrival, you’ll check in at the OR Tambo City Lodge Hotel for the night. Take the opportunity to relax and prepare for the next day’s activities.

Upon checking in at the OR Tambo City Lodge Hotel, you can unwind in your comfortable room or explore the hotel’s amenities. The hotel offers a convenient location near the airport, making it an ideal spot to rest and refresh before continuing your journey. If time permits, you might want to enjoy a leisurely dinner at the hotel’s restaurant or take a brief walk around the vicinity to stretch your legs.

After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the hotel, you’ll head to the international departure counter at the airport to catch your flight to Victoria Falls. Once you arrive at Victoria Falls Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by a representative or chauffeur who will assist with your transfer to your pre-booked accommodation.

Settle into your lodging, where you’ll be staying for the next two days. After checking in and freshening up, the rest of the afternoon is yours to explore at your own pace. You might choose to venture into the nearby town, where you can sample local cuisine at charming restaurants, interact with the friendly locals, and immerse yourself in the vibrant culture. Take this opportunity to learn more about the area and enjoy the unique experiences that Victoria Falls has to offer.

07:00 – 10:00 am: Begin your day by waking up to the soothing sounds of nature and enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel. After your meal, prepare for an adventure of a lifetime. Pick-up for the Victoria Falls tour will be from 10:00 am, with the tour lasting approximately 2 hours and concluding around 12:00 pm. Victoria Falls, the largest waterfall in the world at 108 meters (354 feet), is famously known as “Mosi-oa-Tunya,” meaning “the smoke that thunders.” Designated as one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1989, it straddles the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. As you enter the park, you’ll be greeted by the thunderous roar of the falls and experience breathtaking viewpoints, each offering unique perspectives and water pressures. A knowledgeable guide will share the history of the falls and the explorations of David Livingstone. Following the tour, you can enjoy lunch at the hotel or a local restaurant.

Sunset Zambezi River Cruise: At 16:00, you’ll be picked up from the hotel and transferred to the harbor for a spectacular sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. Board an open boat and soak in the stunning views of the river and its surroundings, with the opportunity to spot hippos in their natural habitat. The boat will travel across to the Zambian side of the river, where you’ll witness a breathtaking sunset while enjoying local beverages. The serene river, vibrant sunset colors, and the warm African ambiance will create unforgettable memories.

On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, savoring the last moments of your stay in Victoria Falls. After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport, where you’ll check in for your flight back to Johannesburg.

As you board your flight, reflect on the incredible experiences you’ve had over the past 9 days, from the majestic landscapes of Kruger National Park to the vibrant scenes of Namibia and the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls. Upon arriving in Johannesburg, your tour officially comes to an end.
