Deze luxe gorillatrackingsafari brengt je van heel dichtbij en persoonlijk in contact met de bedreigde berggorilla's in Uganda.
Je begint in Kigali en je reis naar Bwindi voert je door adembenemende landschappen in zowel Rwanda als Oeganda. In Bwindi wandel je door een van de zuiverste bossen van Afrika op zoek naar en leer je over gorilla's. Na een uur ga je met frisse herinneringen het bos weer uit.
Naast de gorilla's heb je de kans om meer te leren over de lokale bevolking en hun gewoonten in een culturele ontmoeting.

Stadstour door Kigali en rit naar Bwindi
After breakfast, you will go for a city tour of Kigali, including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial and Museum, the Nyamirambo Women’s Center, and the Kimironko Market.
You will enjoy lunch in Kigali and then drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. Driving from Kigali to Bwindi will take approximately 5 hours including the border crossing. Upon arrival, you will check-in and relax at the lodge.

Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today is the big day! Prepare yourself for an encounter with the gentle giants; the rare mountain gorillas.
For most people, this is the absolute highlight of their tour. You will go into the forest in groups of not more than 8 in search of mountain gorillas. En route, your guide will point out previous signs of gorilla activity such as dung, nests, and chewed bamboo shoots.
Your trek will be an exciting journey along forested slopes, entwined vines, bushes, and bamboo. Upon finding the gorillas, you will spend a maximum of 1 hour with them after which you will be led back to the starting point.

Rit terug naar Kigali
Begin the day with a delicious breakfast before checking out of your lodge. You will be driven back to Kigali where you will have lunch and thereafter head to the airport for your flight back home.

All information detailed in client itineraries is given to the best of Primate World Safaris’ knowledge and based on the latest information available. Primate World Safaris cannot be liable for modified information from third parties, nor for any obvious typing errors.
To reserve flights and gorilla permits we need: your full names as they appear in passport, your nationality and passport number.
Before confirming a safari, the client must inform Primate World Safaris of any preferences and special requests of the participants; e.g. medical needs, diet, requirements relating to disabilities and any other requirements. Primate World Safaris will meet the requests if possible.
All packages are subject to availability and not guaranteed until confirmed. Many lodges and hotels offered by Primate World Safaris have limited capacity and therefore it is essential to make reservations well in advance of your planned trip.
In the event that you wish to amend your reservation in any way, Primate World Safaris will make the preferred adjustment where practicable and possible and confirm accordingly. Primate World Safaris reserves the right to charge an amendment fee relative to the actual costs, which will be added to the total invoice.
Primate World Safaris reserves the right to change and re-adjust the tour schedule, transportation, accommodation and services indicated in the itinerary in the event of unforeseen circumstances before arrival. Any changes to the itinerary will be communicated to the client as soon as possible.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
All cancellation requests must be made in writing and shall be effective on the date of actual receipt by Primate World Safaris.
The following cancellation charges apply to the basic program rate:
60 days or more prior to arrival 10% charge
59 – 32 days prior to arrival 25% charge
31 – 8 days prior to arrival 30% charge
7 – 4 days prior to arrival 75% charge
3 Days or less prior to arrival 100% charge
Primate World Safaris reserves the right to deduct all expenses incurred from money paid.
Gorilla and chimp permits and air tickets are 100% non-refundable.
No refunds will be made for any unused services, late arrival or no-show of any of the members of the tour.
