Dagen 3

Vlieg naar Aswan en bezoek Aswan

After breakfast, we will transfer you to Cairo International Airport to your flight to Aswan and you will spend the night in Aswan.

High Dam - The fact is that a high dam is an enormous artificial barrier constructed to manage water flow while generating power

The High Dam is 3,830 meters long and 111 meters high. Its southernmost point is near the city of Aswan. It was generally constructed to support Egypt in the yearly Nile River Inundation, and so it is the silver bullet that handled the overwhelming destructive Nile River Inundation of the agricultural lands and seeds in a negative way! Thus, it has a high potential and key significance to Egypt's economy.

Historic Sites, Temples --> Philae Temple

One of the most noticeable Nubian world heritage sites is the Philae temple, which was moved to Agilika Island by the UNESCO-backed UNESCO from the Nile flooding. It was a monument raised as a sanctuary for the goddess Isis. The Pharaohs were responsible for the temple’s construction; it was later converted and expanded by the Byzantines, Greeks, and Romans.

You will spend the night at the our hotel in Aswan.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch

Dagen 4

Excursie naar Abu Simbel

Start your day with an optional early visit to Abu Simbel before breakfast, one of the most glorious and historically significant pieces of architecture.

The Abu Simbel Temples

The temples of Abu Simbel, built by Ramses II around 1264 BC, are carved into the mountains and feature the king's hypostyle hall flanked by two towers of the Sons of Horus and a winged sun disc, symbolizing the child god Horus. Nearby is the temple dedicated to his wife, Queen Nefertari. The temple walls showcase masterpieces depicting the Battle of Kadesh and the peace treaty signed in 1274 BC.

After lunch, we will transfer you to Luxor by a private A/C vehicle and you will spend the night in Luxor.

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch

Dagen 5

Reis van de oostelijke oever van Luxor

After breakfast, we will go to visit the East Bank of the Nile today.

The place is called the Temple of Karnak.

Karnak Temple, built from 1971 BC to 30 BC, is the most popular religious building in the area. Ancient Egyptians dedicated this temple to the god Amun-Ra, and it was this deed that bestowed the title "The House of Amun" on this temple. Along with Khonsu and Amun was the worship of the Theban triad, which, through these connections, became the holiest in the land. It is an area of more than two square kilometers, and it has under it the hypostyle hall, which is the most captivating of all the temples there.

We will discuss Luxor Temple here.

Dream of a charming evening on an Egyptian night tour: experience the unbelievable Luxor temple with its breathtaking lights. Originally built by Amenhotep III and later completed by Tutankhamun, the temple is mainly an assembly point for the annual Opet Festival, which brings the deity Amun from Karnak to Luxor, as well as other major religious ceremonies.

You will spend the night in our hotel in Luxor.

Food Icon: Breakfast, Lunch

Dagen 6

Rondleiding door de Westelijke Jordaanoever

After breakfast, you will go to visit:

 The Valley of the Kings

The Valley of the Kings further expanded the Pharaohs' acceptance of the concept of eternal existence. To their ancestors, the progress in the Valley of the Kings mainly meant royal tombs built for their kings. The underground tombs were full of furniture, wealth, and implements that were being packed along with the king to the afterlife.

This is the Hatshepsut Temple to be discussed.

The Mortuary temple of queen Hatshepsut, a symbol of Ancient Egyptian architectural achievement, is a significant site. Retaining its original beauty, the temple was built atop the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari in 1479 BCE and features a statue that represents Hatshepsut's life and title as God's Wife of Amun-Ra.

The Colossi of Memnon

These world-famous Colossi of Memnon were made by the great King Amenhotep III (1386 - 1349 BC) in 1350 BC. They were then transported from Cairo to Luxor, a distance of about 700 meters. They were then placed into the ruins of the Amenhotep II funerary temple. Rebuilt several times, it was most famous for its acoustical qualities during the Greco-Roman period. The temple's outer walls were decorated with pictures of Hapi, the Nile god, and his divine family, who were cut in stone.

We will transfer to Hurghada by private air-conditioned transportation.
