You’ll get a first glimpse of Marrakech’s unique atmosphere, wandering through its old medina, colorful souks, and the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa Square. Depending on your preferences, you can enjoy some time shopping or simply soaking in the bustling vibe. Dinner will be served at your Riad, where you'll spend your first night in Morocco.

After a hearty Moroccan breakfast, your day begins with a deeper dive into the cultural treasures of Marrakech. You’ll visit the grand Koutoubia Mosque, marvel at the ornate Bahia Palace, and explore the beautiful Ben Youssef Madrasa, once a major center for Islamic learning. In the afternoon, your journey continues westward to the Atlantic coast, with a special stop at a women’s Argan Oil cooperative. Here, you’ll learn how this prized Moroccan oil is traditionally produced and used in both cuisine and cosmetics. Arriving in Essaouira by late afternoon, you’ll have free time to wander through its charming medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site filled with art galleries, whitewashed walls, and a sea breeze that gives the town a laid-back feel. You’ll spend the night in a local guesthouse or Riad.

Today you’ll travel up the Atlantic coastline toward Casablanca, Morocco’s bustling commercial capital. Along the way, you’ll pass by Safi, known for its pottery and fishing industry, and stop in the historical coastal town of El Jadida. Here, you’ll visit the impressive underground Portuguese cistern, an architectural gem dating back to the 16th century. Continuing your journey, you’ll arrive in Casablanca. If time allows, you’ll visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest and most stunning mosques in the world, perched right on the ocean. If you arrive later in the day, the mosque visit can be scheduled for the following morning. You’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Casablanca.

After breakfast, if you didn’t get a chance the day before, you’ll start with a guided visit to the Hassan II Mosque. From there, you’ll head north to Morocco’s capital, Rabat. You’ll stop briefly to explore the Kasbah of the Udayas, a tranquil fortress neighborhood with blue and white streets and scenic ocean views. Your journey continues into the Rif Mountains as you make your way to Chefchaouen, known as the Blue Pearl of Morocco. Along the way, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before arriving in the beautifully painted town. Settle into your Riad for the night and prepare for a peaceful and picturesque experience.

Start your day with some free time to explore Chefchaouen on your own. Stroll through its blue-washed streets, relax in Outa el-Hammam Square, visit the Ras el-Maa waterfall, or climb to the Spanish Mosque for panoramic views over the city. After a couple of hours, return to your Riad to meet your driver and set off for Fes, stopping in the imperial city of Meknes along the way. You'll have time to admire some of Meknes’ historic gates and architecture before continuing to Fes, the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco. Dinner and overnight stay will be in a traditional Riad in Fes.

Today is all about exploring the ancient and enchanting city of Fes. With your local guide, you’ll dive into the labyrinthine medina, one of the largest and oldest in the world. Highlights of your walking tour include the impressive Royal Palace gates, the historical Bou Inania Madrasa, the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, and the Al Quaraouiyine Mosque and University—recognized as one of the oldest universities in the world. You’ll also visit the bustling spice markets, Al Attarine Madrasa, the Jewish Quarter (Mellah), traditional pottery workshops, and of course, the iconic Chouara Tannery, where leather goods are still dyed in stone vats. After an immersive day, enjoy dinner and a restful night in your Riad.

Leave Fes early and begin your journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Your first stop will be Ifrane, a picturesque town known for its Swiss-like architecture and clean air. Continue through cedar forests near Azrou, where you may spot some Barbary monkeys, then head to Midelt for a scenic lunch break. Drive along the Ziz Valley, famous for its palm trees and fortified villages, before reaching the edge of the Sahara in Merzouga. Upon arrival, you’ll prepare for a camel ride through the golden dunes at sunset. Arrive at your desert camp in time for a traditional dinner, local music, and stargazing under the vast desert sky. Tonight, you’ll sleep in a comfortable Berber tent in the heart of the dunes.

Start your day early to catch the sunrise over the sand dunes—a magical moment to remember. After breakfast, embark on a 4x4 desert tour that takes you deep into the Sahara. Visit nomadic Berber communities, explore remote oases, and enjoy the stunning contrast of rocky terrain and sweeping dunes. Here, you’ll stop to learn about ancient irrigation systems still used by local farmers and visit the dramatic Todra Gorge, a natural wonder with towering rock walls and a shallow river that attracts climbers and hikers. Continue your drive to Boumalne Dades, where the landscape shifts to deep valleys, winding roads, and dramatic rock formations. You’ll spend the night in a cozy guesthouse in the Dades Valley.

On your final day, begin your journey back to Marrakech. Along the way, stop in Ouarzazate, Morocco’s film capital, where movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones were filmed.
