Dagen 1

Aankomst in Rio de Janeiro

Vandaag kom je aan in Brazilië, het grootste land van Zuid-Amerika. Onze gids ontmoet je op de luchthaven van Rio de Janeiro. Na de luchthaven pick-up brengen we je naar het aangewezen hotel om in te checken, zodat je kunt ontspannen en bijkomen van je lange vlucht en je kunt voorbereiden op de prachtige reis die voor je ligt.

Dagen 2

Rio de Janeiro

Na het ontbijt in het hotel rijden we naar Christus de Verlosser. Onderweg kom je door prachtige beboste gebieden om het indrukwekkende standbeeld van Christus de Verlosser te bewonderen, een van 's werelds beroemdste bezienswaardigheden. Dit 38 meter hoge standbeeld, versierd in de mooiste art-decostijl met mozaïeken van speksteen, strekt zijn armen uit alsof het de stad zegent. Je hebt ook uitzicht op de brug van Niteroi.


Vervolgens bezoeken we de promenade langs het water, het WWII Memorial en de uniek ontworpen Rio Kathedraal. We bekijken ook de buitenkant van het Museum van Morgen, gebouwd voor de Olympische Zomerspelen van Rio in 2016.


In de middag gaan we met een kabelbaan de Suikerbroodberg op. Je gaat met de eerste kabelbaan naar Morro da Urca, dat 220 meter hoog is en snackbars, souvenirwinkels, een klein amfitheater en een helikopterplatform heeft. De tweede etappe brengt je naar de top van de Suikerbroodberg op 395 meter, door de Portugezen genoemd naar de suikerbroodvorm die ze gebruikten om suiker te vervoeren. Vanaf deze punten kun je genieten van panoramische uitzichten over Rio, waaronder de stranden Copacabana, Ipanema en Leblon, maar ook Botafogo en Flamengo die leiden naar het centrum, Christus de Verlosser en de Rio-Niteroi brug. We bezoeken ook de kleurrijke Selarón Trappen in de wijk Lapa.

Rio de Janeiro - São Paulo

Na het ontbijt ga je naar het vliegveld voor je vlucht naar São Paulo. Bij aankomst word je opgehaald van het vliegveld. Geniet van een stadstour van een halve dag door São Paulo, de grootste stad op het zuidelijk halfrond. Je eerste stop is op het Pracada Se plein, het centrale punt van São Paulo en het referentiepunt voor alle wegen. Hier bezoek je de indrukwekkende metropolitaanse kathedraal van São Paulo (Catedral da Sé de São Paulo) van buitenaf. Deze kathedraal in neogotische stijl met twee torenspitsen is niet alleen de grootste kerk in São Paulo, maar ook de op drie na grootste neogotische kathedraal ter wereld.


Bezoek vervolgens de buitenkant van het paleismuseum Ipiranga en bewonder de Koninklijke tuin in Europese stijl en het Onafhankelijkheidsplein. Je wordt ook meegenomen naar het beroemde Oosterse district, Liberdade, waar veel Aziatische bewoners uit China, Korea en Japan wonen, waardoor het een duidelijk Oosterse flair heeft. Deze wijk is een van de belangrijkste commerciële gebieden van São Paulo. Mis de Avenida Paulista niet, vaak de "Fifth Avenue van Zuid-Amerika" genoemd, die bekend staat als de Wall Street van Brazilië. Het is een van de belangrijkste financiële centra van Zuid-Amerika, met veel kantoren van internationale bedrijven, beroemde banken, chique restaurants en winkelstraten.


Bezoek tot slot het Ibirapuera Park. Het park werd in de jaren 1950 ontworpen door landschapsarchitect Roberto Burle Marx (1909-1994) en modernistisch architect Oscar Niemeyer (1907-2012) en werd aangelegd om de 400e verjaardag van São Paulo te vieren. Het is een perfecte mix van natuurlijk groen en rijk cultureel erfgoed, waardoor het een van de populairste parken van Brazilië is. Je kunt er het standbeeld van de pionier en het constitutionalistische monument bekijken.

São Paulo - Iguazu

Na het ontbijt heb je vrije tijd in São Paulo voordat je naar het vliegveld gaat voor je vlucht naar Iguazu. Bij aankomst in Iguazu word je naar je hotel gebracht om in te checken.

Iguazu

We rijden naar de Braziliaanse kant van de Iguazu watervallen, de breedste waterval ter wereld. De Iguazu watervallen, die in 1984 op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO werden geplaatst en op 12 november 2011 werden uitgeroepen tot een van de zeven nieuwe natuurwonderen, bieden verschillende uitzichtpunten met spectaculaire uitzichten vanuit verschillende locaties, richtingen en hoogtes.


In het Iguazu National Park in Argentinië bezoeken we de Devil's Throat, de meest spectaculaire waterval in het park. Deze 82 meter hoge en 120 meter brede waterval zal je versteld doen staan. We wandelen langs verschillende paden die naar de top van de watervallen leiden, waar je een adembenemend uitzicht hebt op de 275 verschillende watervallen, die samen een majestueus tafereel vormen.

Iguazu - Buenos Aires

We verkennen de Argentijnse kant van de Iguazu watervallen, die de kloof overspannen die Argentinië en Brazilië scheidt. Na de waterval tour nemen we een nachtvlucht naar Buenos Aires, de hoofdstad van Argentinië. Bij aankomst checken we in in een plaatselijk hotel om uit te rusten en ons voor te bereiden op het volgende deel van onze reis.

Buenos Aires

Na het ontbijt beginnen we rond 9 uur met onze Buenos Aires stadstour, die ongeveer 4 uur zal duren.


Buenos Aires, wat "Goede Lucht" betekent in het Spaans, is de hoofdstad van Argentinië en het politieke, economische en culturele centrum van het land, vaak het "Parijs van Zuid-Amerika" genoemd. In 2007 werd het beoordeeld als de op twee na mooiste stad ter wereld. De belangrijkste hoogtepunten van deze bruisende stad zijn tango, voetbal en barbecues, naast koloniale architectuur, modern design, literaire cafés, diverse musea, straattango en antiekmarkten.


We bezoeken de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden in Buenos Aires, waaronder het Congresplein, het Colon Theater (buiten), 9 de Julio Avenue, de Obelisk, Plaza de Mayo, het presidentiële paleis (Casa Rosada), de kathedraal van Buenos Aires, San Telmo, de wijk La Boca, Caminito, Puerto Madero en de elegante Vrouwenbrug.

Buenos Aires - Estancia

Na het ontbijt beginnen we aan een 8 uur durende tour naar een traditionele Argentijnse Estancia. We sluiten ons aan bij een groepstour en reizen naar de ranch, waar je kunt paardrijden, een koetsrit kunt maken, heerlijke wijnen kunt proeven, van een barbecuefeest kunt genieten en traditionele Gaucho dansen en paardrijvoorstellingen kunt bekijken.


Op de uitgestrekte graslanden van de Pampas leven de sterke en vaardige Gaucho's, afstammelingen van Spaans en Indiaans gemengd erfgoed. Ze houden zich meestal bezig met veeteelt en staan bekend om hun uitzonderlijke paardrijvaardigheden. Sommige landgoederen en ranches in de buurt van Buenos Aires zijn ontwikkeld tot toeristische attracties en bieden bezoekers een kijkje in het leven en de cultuur van de Gaucho's.


Op de Gaucho-ranch kun je hun huizen bezoeken, handwerk kopen, genieten van gebarbecued vlees en mate-thee, kijken naar ruitervoorstellingen en zelfs paardrijden of zelf een koetsrit maken. Daarna keren we terug naar het hotel.

Buenos Aires - Colonia del Sacramento - Montevideo

Rond 8 uur 's ochtends brengen we je van je hotel in Buenos Aires naar de haven, waar je de veerboot neemt naar Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay, voor een volledige dagtour van ongeveer 11,5 uur. Colonia del Sacramento is de oudste stad van Uruguay en de historische wijk staat op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO. De stad heeft schone parken en tuinen, rustige geplaveide straten en kilometerslange stranden. Je kunt hier veel Spaanse, Portugese en postkoloniale gebouwen bewonderen.


Beroemde bezienswaardigheden zijn de Basiliek van het Heilig Sacrament, de oudste kerk van Uruguay, en de ophaalbrug Puerta de Campo, gebouwd in 1745. Na de rondleiding brengen we je naar het busstation van de haven om een toeristenbus te nemen naar Montevideo, de hoofdstad van Uruguay. Bij aankomst checken we in in een hotel met uitzicht op zee.

Dagen 10

Montevideo

Na het ontbijt beginnen we aan een volledige dagtour door Punta del Este, ook wel bekend als Oostkaap of Oostknol, die ongeveer 11,5 uur duurt.


Punta del Este is een van de meest geavanceerde en trendy badplaatsen in Zuid-Amerika. Eerst stoppen we in Piriápolis, de eerste zomerplaats van Uruguay, bekend om zijn charmante witte zandstranden, heuvels en natuurschoon omringd door pijnbomen en eucalyptusbomen. Daarna gaan we naar het stadsgebied, waar verschillende Europese bouwstijlen worden gecombineerd. Onze tour begint 's ochtends en gaat door de kustgebieden van Montevideo en Canelones.


Je verkent de schilderachtige landschappen omringd door bergen, pijnbomen en eucalyptusbomen en leert over de mystiek van de Tempeliers en alchemie door de werken van Humberto Pittamiglio bij de waterbron Las Flores. We gaan verder langs Route 10, die uitzicht biedt op de Rio de la Plata, om Piriápolis te bereiken, gesticht door Francisco Piria in 1890. We bezoeken het Argentino Hotel en de San Antonio Heuvel en stoppen bij het panoramische uitkijkpunt.


Tijdens de reis zullen we het Casa Pueblo zien, een wit huis aan het water, gebouwd door de beroemde Uruguayaanse kunstenaar Pablo. We komen aan bij Playa Mansa in Punta del Este, via de haven van Candelaria, waar de Rio de la Plata en de oceaan samenkomen. Je kunt ook Isla de Lobos en zijn vuurtoren zien. Vervolgens bezoeken we het iconische La Mano monument, waar je vrije tijd hebt om foto's te maken, te lunchen en op je gemak de omgeving te verkennen.


Na het verzamelen rijden we door de wijk Beverly Hills met zijn herenhuizen en grote tuinen, de Marconi-gemeenschap en El Cantegril, de oudste en beroemdste wijk in Punta del Este. Tot slot keren we terug naar het hotel in Montevideo.

Dagen 11

Montevideo - Santiago

We beginnen met een halve dag tour door Montevideo rond 8 uur 's ochtends of 1 uur 's middags, die ongeveer 3 uur duurt. Montevideo is een stad die moderne en klassieke charme combineert, met talrijke 19e- en vroeg 20e-eeuwse gebouwen, verzorgde parken, historische monumenten en prachtige stranden. Tijdens deze tour bezoek je de oude stad, het Onafhankelijkheidsplein met het ondergrondse Artigas Mausoleum, de Havenmarkt en het Wetgevend Paleis. Een standbeeld van Confucius, geschonken door de regering van Taipei aan Montevideo, staat in Rodo Park. Je ziet ook de buitenkant van het hoofdkantoor van Mercosur.


Vervolgens kijk je uit over de kustlijn en verken je de romantische wijken El Prado, de elegante woonwijk Carrasco en de historische havens Gotán en Pocitos. We rijden langs het indrukwekkende Carrasco Casino. Na de tour brengen we je naar het vliegveld voor je vlucht naar Santiago, Chili. Bij aankomst regelen we het ophalen van de luchthaven en het inchecken in het hotel.

Dagen 12

Stadsrondrit Santiago

We beginnen om 8 uur 's ochtends met een stadstour door Santiago (Chili), die ongeveer 4 uur duurt.


Tijdens deze tour zul je jezelf onderdompelen in de cultuur van deze stad omgeven door het Andesgebergte en de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden en beroemde verhalen ontdekken. Onze stadstour omvat de volgende bezienswaardigheden:


Plaza de Armas: Het hart van het historische centrum van Santiago, dat de stichting en rijke geschiedenis van de stad markeert.

Providencia: Een belangrijke residentiële en commerciële wijk, het is het bruisende hart van Santiago.

Dagen 13

Santiago - Valparaiso - Viña del Mar - Santiago

We vertrekken uit Santiago om Valparaiso en Viña del Mar te bezoeken, twee steden die het behoud en de transformatie van stedelijke ruimtes langs de centrale Chileense kust vertegenwoordigen. Op weg naar de eerste bestemming maken we een korte stop voordat we verder gaan naar Valparaiso. Bij aankomst maken we een wandeling door de heuvels, langs Florida Hill, waar een van de huizen van dichter Pablo Neruda, La Sebastiana, staat. We nemen wat foto's en gaan dan naar een restaurant voor de lunch terwijl we genieten van het uitzicht op de baai.


Vervolgens bezoeken we het historische centrum van de haven, waar we de oude liften en het Sotomayor Plein bewonderen. Daarna gaan we verder naar Viña del Mar, waar we stoppen bij de beroemde Bloemenklok. We bezoeken het Fonck Museum, waar originele Moai-beelden van Paaseiland staan. Tot slot stoppen we bij een strand om te wandelen en te genieten van het kustlandschap. Later stappen we in de auto en keren we terug naar Santiago.

Santiago

Vandaag nemen we een vlucht naar Lima, Peru. Bij aankomst regelen we het ophalen van het vliegveld en het inchecken in het hotel.

Dagen 15

Lima - Puerto Maldonado (Amazone)

Na het ontbijt nemen we een vlucht naar Puerto Maldonado (zorg ervoor dat je voor 11 uur 's ochtends aankomt), bekend als de hoofdstad van de biodiversiteit. Bij aankomst begint je Amazone-avontuur met een 25 minuten durende boottocht over de kleikleurige Madre de Dios rivier naar het hotel. De lunch wordt in buffetvorm geserveerd in het Casa Grande restaurant in het palmbos. Na de lunch beginnen we met een natuurwandeling langs het Concepcion Pad, een boeiende kennismaking met het complexe ecosysteem van het Amazonebekken.


Bij zonsondergang maken we een riviertour in de schemering om de fascinerende overgang van het regenwoud van dag naar nacht te observeren, waarbij dieren en vogels overdag plaatsmaken voor soorten die speciaal aan de nacht zijn aangepast. Kijk of je de twinkelende sterren op de oevers van de rivier op het zuidelijk halfrond kunt zien. Het diner wordt geserveerd in het restaurant, met op de Amazone geïnspireerde gerechten. Ga na het diner terug naar je kamer en luister naar de intrigerende geluiden van het nachtelijke regenwoud.

Dagen 16

Puerto Maldonado (Amazone)

Na het ontbijt bezoeken we Lake Sandoval, een spiegelend meer in het beschermde Tambopata National Reserve. We wandelen over een zonovergoten regenwoudpad naar het meer. Stap aan boord van een houten boomstamkano en peddel rustig door de beek naar het schilderachtige meer omringd door palmbomen. In het meer leven verschillende vogelsoorten, bedreigde reuzenotters, rode brulapen, ara's, anaconda's, zijnekschildpadden en zwarte kaaimannen. Daarna keer je terug naar Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion voor de lunch.


In de middag raden we je aan de opwindende Inkaterra Canopy Walkway te beklimmen, een 344 meter lang hangbrugsysteem dat bestaat uit zeven ecologisch ontworpen hangbruggen die verbonden zijn met acht observatieplatforms hoog boven de bosbodem. Dit is een onvergetelijke kans om het regenwoud van bovenaf te observeren en adembenemende uitzichten te bewonderen. Beklim de eerste toren, die 38 meter hoog is, en kijk uit naar heldere toekans, spechten, papegaaien, apen en drievingerige luiaards. Je kunt er ook voor kiezen om tegen een extra vergoeding een nacht door te brengen in een speciaal ontworpen boomtoppenlodge. Na terugkomst in de lodge kun je een nachtelijke tocht door het bos maken, waarbij je verlichtingsapparatuur meeneemt om de verhoogde activiteit van dieren en geluiden in het omringende bos te observeren. Observeer verschillende amfibieën, vogels, zoogdieren en de rijke vegetatie. Na terugkomst in de lodge kun je deelnemen aan de dagelijkse natuurpresentaties in het ecologisch centrum of een luxe spabehandeling voor jezelf boeken. Het diner begint om 19.00 uur.

Dagen 17

Puerto Maldonado (Amazone) - Cusco

Word wakker met de geluiden van het regenwoud met papegaaien die door de bomen fladderen en apen die door de boomtoppen slingeren. Na het ontbijt checken we om 10 uur uit. Stap aan boord van een gemotoriseerde houten boot voor een 25 minuten durende terugreis over de Madre de Dios rivier en ga dan naar het vliegveld voor je vlucht naar Cusco (boek een vlucht die na 11 uur vertrekt). Bij aankomst regelen we een pick-up van het vliegveld.


In de middag neemt je gids je mee op een tour door deze historische stad. Cusco, de voormalige hoofdstad van het Incarijk, wordt omringd door majestueuze bergen en weelderige bossen, waardoor het de bijnaam "Juweel van de Andes" heeft gekregen. Eerst zullen we genieten van het uitzicht op de stad Cusco vanaf San Cristobal Plaza. Daarna bezoeken we de San Pedro Markt om de lokale smaak te proeven en te leren over de producten die in de omgeving worden verbouwd en die de hele stad bevoorraden.


Vervolgens bezoeken we de majestueuze Korikancha Tempel, ook wel bekend als de "Gouden Omheining" vanwege de vergulde muren. We bezoeken ook de Santo Domingo Kerk. We lopen van de San Blas ambachtsgemeenschap naar Hatun Rumiyoc Street en stoppen om de buitenkant van het Inca Roca Paleis (nu het Aartsbisschoppelijk Paleis) en de beroemde Twaalfhoekige Steen te bekijken. We gaan verder naar het centrale plein om de kathedraal van Cusco te bezoeken, waar onbetaalbare en prachtige meesterwerken uit de koloniale architectuur te zien zijn.

Dagen 18

Cusco - Heilige Vallei - Cusco

Vandaag bezoeken we de Heilige Vallei, een regio in de Andes rond de Urubamba rivier, bekend om zijn geschikte klimaat en vruchtbare grond, waardoor het het hart van het Incarijk was. Onderweg stoppen we bij Awanacancha om Andes-kameelachtigen zoals lama's en alpaca's te observeren en van de lokale bevolking te leren over traditionele verf- en weeftechnieken.


Vervolgens bezoeken we de indrukwekkende archeologische vindplaats Pisac, gelegen boven de stad Pisac, een van de mooiste vindplaatsen in de Heilige Vallei. Hier verkennen we het koloniale Pisac dorp en hebben we tijd om te winkelen voor lokaal handwerk. Op de markt van Pisac, een van de grootste in de Heilige Vallei, vind je de mooiste handgemaakte artikelen die veel toeristen aantrekken. De markt is dagelijks geopend, maar de drukste dagen zijn dinsdag, donderdag en zondag. Daarna bezoeken we het prachtige Inkariy Museum om meer te leren over de culturele kennis die het bezit. Het museum beschikt over vele tentoonstellingszalen met artefacten uit verschillende representatieve precolumbiaanse culturen uit het oude Peru. Daarna lunchen we in een lokaal restaurant en keren we terug naar Cusco.

Dagen 19

Cusco - Machu Picchu - Cusco

s Ochtends reizen we naar het treinstation van Poroy of Ollantaytambo om de trein te nemen naar een van de zeven nieuwe wereldwonderen, Machu Picchu. We komen aan op het station van Aguas Calientes, waar het personeel je zal helpen om aan boord te gaan van de bus naar Machu Picchu en de kronkelige weg naar de ruïnes te beklimmen.


Machu Picchu, gelegen in de prachtige canyon van de Urubamba rivier, staat bekend als de "Verloren Stad van de Inca's". Het heeft adembenemende terrassen, tempels, trappen en stedelijke gebieden. Onder leiding van een expert verken je de Machu Picchu site en leer je over de geschiedenis en cultuur.


Na de tour nemen we de bus terug naar Aguas Calientes. Later gaan we aan boord van de trein om terug te keren naar Ollantaytambo, gevolgd door een autotransfer terug naar Cusco.

Cusco - Lima Stadstour

In de ochtend nemen we een vlucht naar Lima, met pick-up op het vliegveld bij aankomst (boek een vlucht die voor de middag aankomt). Om 14.00 uur neemt onze gids je mee op een tour door Lima, waarbij we ongeveer 3,5 uur lang de pleinen en straten van de stad verkennen. We beginnen bij Parque del Amor (Liefdespark) in Miraflores, waar je een spectaculair uitzicht hebt op de Stille Oceaan.


Vervolgens bezoeken we de buitenkant van Huaca Pucllana, een ceremoniële piramide die de culturele geschiedenis van Lima vertegenwoordigt. We gaan verder naar het centrale plein van Lima, ook bekend als Plaza de Armas, waar het presidentiële paleis en het stadhuis gevestigd zijn. De centrale bronzen fontein op het plein dateert uit 1650 en wordt omringd door gebouwen zoals het presidentieel paleis, het stadhuis van Lima en de kathedraal van Lima, die de Spaanse architectonische kunst laten zien. Op het hoofdplein leer je over het belang ervan in het Peruaanse politieke leven, waaronder de moord op de stichter van Lima, Pizarro, in 1541 en de verklaring van de Peruaanse onafhankelijkheid door generaal San Martin in 1821. We bezoeken ook de kathedraal van Lima, een belangrijk religieus gebouw, en het Santo Domingo Convent, met zijn prachtige gangen, waar de heilige Martin de Porres en de heilige Rose van Lima in de 17e eeuw rondliepen.


Opmerking: De kathedraal van Lima is gesloten op sommige nationale feestdagen en op zaterdagmiddag en zondagochtend. In deze periodes zullen we in plaats daarvan het Lima Art Museum (MAL) bezoeken.

All prices that we quote are in Australian Dollars and based on twin share accommodation unless otherwise stated. Please note that prices quoted are subject to change at the discretion of the Supplier prior to booking. Price changes may occur after booking because of matters outside our control which increase the cost of the Product. A variety of fees and surcharges may be payable to us, including booking or reservation fees, cancellation and amendment fees, credit card merchant fees, insurance claim processing fees or fees for ad-hoc services performed as required. Payment by credit card will incur a surcharge to offset our cost of acceptance of payment by credit card. The surcharge varies depending on Credit Card Type, it is your responsibility to advise the correct Credit Card type to ensure that the appropriate surcharge is applied. All About Travel accepts no responsibility for an inappropriate surcharge being applied if the correct Card type has not been advised, and the surcharge applied shall not be refundable.


You authorize us to charge all monies payable by you in relation to any booking we make on your behalf or other services we have procured or provided to the credit card or debit card designated by you. If payment is not received from the card issuer or its agents for any reason, you agree to pay us all amounts due immediately on demand.


You will be required to pay a deposit (or deposits) when booking. The deposit amount varies depending on the Product booked and lead time to travel. In some instances, full payment is required at the time of booking and your Consultant will advise the deposit amount at the time of booking. All deposits are non-refundable for changes of mind or cancellations by you (subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law). Where a deposit has been collected, final payment is required to pay on schedule time. Failure to make payment by the due date may result in your booking being cancelled and deposits forfeited.


Payments made by direct deposit may take up to three business days to process. If you are paying by this method, you will need to make the payment at least three business days prior to the actual due date. You must notify your Consultant of your payment once it has been made.


Payments made by personal cheque (excluding bank cheques) require five business days to process. If you are paying by this method, you will need to make the payment at least five business days prior to the actual due date. You agree not to stop payment of the cheque even when you cancel a booking. You agree that we may apply the proceeds of the cheque to satisfy any liability you have to us or to a Supplier, including any liability in respect of cancellation fees, before refunding the balance to you.


We act as an agent for and sell various travel related products as an agent on behalf of numerous transport, accommodation and other service providers, such as airlines, coach, rail and cruise line operators, as well as travel wholesalers (“Suppliers”). Any brochures provided by us to you are supplied by Suppliers, or are prepared by us based on content supplied by Suppliers, and we accept no liability for errors in that material. Your oral and written instructions to us are authority for us to make travel bookings on your behalf and to arrange relevant contracts between you and the applicable Supplier. Notwithstanding this authority, we are not your agent and do not have any fiduciary duty to you. We exercise care in the selection of reputable Suppliers, but we are not ourselves a provider of travel services and have no control over, or liability for, the Products provided by the Suppliers, who are third parties. All bookings are made on your behalf subject to the terms and conditions, including conditions of carriage and limitations of liability, imposed by the Supplier. We recommend that you read them before finalizing the transaction and we can provide you with copies of the relevant terms and conditions on request. Your legal rights and remedies in connection with the provision of Products are against the Supplier and, except to the extent a problem is directly and primarily caused by fault on our part, are not against us. Specifically, if for any reason (excluding fault on our part) any Supplier is unable to provide the Product for which you have contracted either at all, or to the requisite standard, your remedies are against that Supplier and not against us.


To the extent permitted by law, we do not accept any liability in contract, tort or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss (including consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of third party providers over whom we have no direct control, force majeure or any other event which is beyond our control or which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part. Under circumstances where our liability cannot be excluded and where liability may be lawfully limited, such liability is limited to the remedies required of us under applicable law (including the Australian Consumer Law). In particular, we disclaim any liability for any consequential loss, including loss of enjoyment or amenity. This liability clause is subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).


We reserve the right to cancel the credit and any associated purchase without compensation if you do not comply with these terms and conditions.


Summary Of Obligations


Before making a booking, it is important that you meet the following requirements:


You are over the age of eighteen (18) and have sufficient funds to pay for the travel services.

You have read our terms and conditions and if booking for third parties warrant that you have their authority to do so and have conveyed these terms and conditions to them. You agree to indemnify us and the Supplier against any claims from third parties who have not in fact been properly informed.

You have read the terms and conditions of any applicable Suppliers and agree to be bound by those.

You are responsible for checking the accuracy of all documents provided to you.

You are responsible for contacting the airline at least 72 hours prior to travel to reconfirm your booking.

Placing Orders


The promotion of Delightful Travel Products for Exclusive Resorts , tours or travel related services are not reserved until we reply you back with the email confirmation ( Except Hotels and Cruise sections) . Due to travel destinations time difference.


To the extent permitted by law We reserve the right to accept or reject Your offer for any reason (or no reason) including, but not limited to, the unavailability of any service or Product, an error in the price or product description, or an error in Your Order.


You must review Your Order carefully before placing it. Once your booking is confirmed with the the promoted Product deal, it is then non-changeable and non-refundable. If your order is not confirmed. We will reply you by email and refund all the payment during office hours.


Please note that as a general rule, We will not refund Your purchase where You have made an error. In the event that We cancel or are unable to fulfil Your Order (including because Exclusive Resorts, tours or travel related services have become unavailable or We cease selling the product for any reason whatsoever), We will provide a full refund of any payment received. Except as required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), We will not be liable to You for any other loss, such as any additional costs associated with you purchasing from another provider at a higher price.

Credit Cards


Credit card surcharges may apply when paying by credit card. If you intend to pay by credit card it is essential that we are informed at the time of booking what type of credit card you wish to use so that we can ensure that the airline or wholesaler accepts this type of card as form of payment.


Credit Card Fees:


Mastercard and Visa incur a fee of 2.2%

American Express incur a fee of 3.5%


Credit card surcharge can not be refunded after the amount has been charged through the machine provider.


 


If for any reason any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted, your remedy lies against that provider, and not against Delightful Travel . In the event that payment has been made to Delightful Travel by credit card, and Delightful Travel has passed on the payment to the travel service provider you agree that you will not seek to charge back your payment to Delightful Travel .


If purchase from  our store : A “Credit Card Charge Authority Form” must be completed and returned to your consultant as soon as possible. Reference is also made to the section that advises that credit card details may also be passed on to the airline or wholesaler to process the charge.


Direct Deposit/Internet Transfer (please contact us direct rather than pay online)


If you would prefer to direct deposit or internet transfer payments into our account please contact your travel consultant for the bank details. If you choose to make payments this way you will need to deposit the funds 2 working days earlier than the required due date. We will not be held responsible for any overdue payments.


Availability of Accommodation and Services and Scheduling


You agree and acknowledge that: where suppliers offer services on the basis of ‘subject to availability’ or an experience based on an itinerary or schedule of events, the scheduling of or Order for those events may vary from time to time; the suppliers of certain types of experiences may impose conditions such as a minimum age or other restrictions regarding weight, health or other factors.


It is Your responsibility to confirm details of any restrictions that may apply Delightful Travel to finalising any booking and confirm that you are able to comply; photographs appearing on Our website to illustrate details of offers of suppliers are generally those made available to Us by suppliers or chosen by Us. They are intended to be indicative only of the accommodation, location, services, facilities, and attractions at which services are offered by suppliers. For example, they may depict only one of various rooms, facilities and attractions at which the offer is located in or nearby Your accommodation. This may not be the room type, location or facility applicable to Your chosen version of the offer; a representation on the website that services will be available over a range of dates does not preclude You from being required to make a booking for the services to which the booking relates. Bookings may not be available on short notice


Passports, Visas & Immigration


It is your responsibility to fulfil the passport, visa and other immigration requirements applicable to your itinerary. You need a valid passport for all international travel. Many countries require that your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your expected period of travel. With some countries you will need to have more than 6 Months Validity after the Travel Finished , eg Dubai. The name provided by you for your travel tickets must be the same as that in your passport. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have all the documentation you need for your journey. Visas are obtained from the issuing authority in Australia and you should confirm these with the relevant High Commissions, embassies and/or consulates. Visa requirements vary by both country you are travelling to and the current citizenship you hold so please ensure you check well in advance of your travel dates to allow sufficient processing time as required by the embassy. Either airline staff or immigration authorities may not allow you to pass through customs and board your flight without the appropriate visa and some countries will not allow you to enter without proof of a return or onward electronic or paper ticket. Airline check in staff at your point of origin may deny boarding you. If you proceed to book a one way ticket please ensure you have checked with the Consulate of the country you are travelling to in order to ensure that you comply with their laws and regulations. Travel Advice and Vaccinations


Australian residents should refer to the travel advice posted by the Department of Foreign Affairs at https://www.dfat.gov.au/ or https://www.smarttraveller.gov.au/ for all the countries you intend to visit. Vaccinations may be required for some or all of the places you are intending to visit. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have arranged all necessary vaccinations for your itinerary.


Taxes and Frequent Flyer Program


Local travel and airport taxes and charges may apply in various overseas countries. Unless otherwise stated, these taxes are not included as part of the fees. Taxes and duties may need to be paid in local currency at the time of departure and are subject to change without notice.


It is your responsibility to check with your airlines on whether your booking with us is qualified for any points under any frequent flyer programs. Please retain all boarding passes to allow verification of your travel if required.


We reserve the right to cancel and reschedule Your booking due to unforeseen circumstances. Except as required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), We will not be held liable for such events and We will not reimburse You for any travelling, accommodation or other expenses incurred by You or any other person.


Bookings


The amount will vary per booking depending on the supplier’s requirements. Prior to the due date, the balance owing may be paid by one of our payment options. If this is the case you will be notified at time of booking. Travel vouchers and booking confirmations cannot be issued until final payment is received. Any booking not paid in full by the due date is subject to automatic cancellation without further notification. Any deposit paid will be forfeited..


In order to protect the interests of other passengers, please arrive at the pick-up point on time or early. If you do not show up before the time, it will be regarded as a no show, and it’s non refundable  and no rescheduling will be granted. The company strongly recommends that guests purchase travel insurance.


For weather factors and other force majeure, any itinerary changes and losses, as well as any accidents and casualties, the company will not be responsible and will not compensate! The company reserves the right to change or cancel the itinerary, replace or cancel the tour, shorten or extend the itinerary.


ITINERARIES – The operator reserves the right to cancel tours and amend prices, itineraries and days of operation as

required. Clients are strongly advised to take out travel insurance. At times it may be necessary to provide alternative

transport.


TOUR PARTICIPATION – Tour may operate by Delightful Travel or our Partner tour operator,


children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. We also reserve the right to refuse

guests if an appropriate amount of water is not being carried.



Passports Details and Travel Terms & Conditions


Passenger details: It is passenger’s/payee’s responsibility to ensure that Given Name and Last Name/Surname is spelled as per passenger’s passport in the given itinerary before issuance of tickets. After the tickets are issued minor name corrections may incur penalties or additional costs. Tickets are non-transferable and name changes are not allowed.

Cancellation Policy

allocation system time-outs resulting in oversold departure date

allocations under our inventory allocation system and as a consequence the travel offer is not available to you and we cancel the order;

the passenger information form is not returned within the specified period and we cancel the order;

an order is placed in contravention of an applicable child traveller policy and we cancel the order;

any minimum number requirements of a travel offer are not met and we cancel the order;

we are required by law to do so;

we have made a mistake in advertising a travel offer that fundamentally misstates the product or service that is the subject of the travel offer or otherwise in the case of manifest error by us; or

prior to travel, the provider of the travel offer ceases trading or ceases to provide the goods or services that are the subject of the travel offer.

The following circumstances DO NOT qualify for refunds:


where you have failed to read our Terms and Conditions,

Cancellation & Refund Policy or the Important Information set out on our website or from our store for your travel offer

if you change your mind after you have purchased a travel offer (for whatever reason);

if the travel offer experience was in accordance with its description but did not meet your general expectations (for whatever reason);

if you are unable to travel due to a medical condition or any other personal reason;

if you are depart late for your booking.

where the travel date selected in respect of the travel offer has passed;

where you are denied entry to a destination due to a failure to comply with a health or other requirement;

if you leave a tour and are non-locatable after reasonable efforts have been made and we cancel any remaining component of a travel offer;

if you miss or are a ‘no-show’ for a flight or cruise and your flight/cruise, ticket, accommodation, transfer or other travel offer component is cancelled;

if the travel packages are the Non Refundable deals

where an itinerary change occurs and we arrange supply of a service of comparable or higher standard;

where we cancel the order in the event of fraud, abuse or suspicious activity.

If payment is not received from the card issuer or its agents for any reason, you agree to pay us all amounts due immediately on demand.

You will be required to pay a deposit (or deposits) when booking. The deposit amount varies depending on the Product booked and lead time to travel. In some instances, full payment is required at the time of booking and your Consultant will advise the deposit amount at the time of booking. All deposits are non-refundable for changes of mind or cancellations by you (subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law). Where a deposit has been collected, final payment is required to pay on sechdule time. Failure to make payment by the due date may result in your booking being cancelled and deposits forfeited.

Payments made by direct deposit may take up to three business days to process. If you are paying by this method, you will need to make the payment at least three business days prior to the actual due date. You must notify your Consultant of your payment once it has been made.

Payments made by personal cheque (excluding bank cheques) require five business days to process. If you are paying by this method, you will need to make the payment at least five business days prior to the actual due date. You agree not to stop payment of the cheque even when you cancel a booking. You agree that we may apply the proceeds of the cheque to satisfy any liability you have to us or to a Supplier, including any liability in respect of cancellation fees, before refunding the balance to you.

We act as an agent for and sell various travel related products as an agent on behalf of numerous transport, accommodation and other service providers, such as airlines, coach, rail and cruise line operators, as well as travel wholesalers (“Suppliers”). Any brochures provided by us to you are supplied by Suppliers, or are prepared by us based on content supplied by Suppliers, and we accept no liability for errors in that material. Your oral and written instructions to us are authority for us to make travel bookings on your behalf and to arrange relevant contracts between you and the applicable Supplier. Notwithstanding this authority, we are not your agent and do not have any fiduciary duty to you. We exercise care in the selection of reputable Suppliers, but we are not ourselves a provider of travel services and have no control over, or liability for, the Products provided by the Suppliers, who are third parties. All bookings are made on your behalf subject to the terms and conditions, including conditions of carriage and limitations of liability, imposed by the Supplier. We recommend that you read them before finalizing the transaction and we can provide you with copies of the relevant terms and conditions on request. Your legal rights and remedies in connection with the provision of Products are against the Supplier and, except to the extent a problem is directly and primarily caused by fault on our part, are not against us. Specifically, if for any reason (excluding fault on our part) any Supplier is unable to provide the Product for which you have contracted either at all, or to the requisite standard, your remedies are against that Supplier and not against us.

To the extent permitted by law, we do not accept any liability in contract, tort or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss (including consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of third party providers over whom we have no direct control, force majeure or any other event which is beyond our control or which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part. Under circumstances where our liability cannot be excluded and where liability may be lawfully limited, such liability is limited to the remedies required of us under applicable law (including the Australian Consumer Law). In particular, we disclaim any liability for any consequential loss, including loss of enjoyment or amenity. This liability clause is subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

We reserve the right to cancel the credit and any associated purchase without compensation if you do not comply with these terms and conditions.

Summary Of Obligations

Before making a booking, it is important that you meet the following requirements:

You are over the age of eighteen (18) and have sufficient funds to pay for the travel services.

You have read our terms and conditions and if booking for third parties warrant that you have their authority to do so and have conveyed these terms and conditions to them. You agree to indemnify us and the Supplier against any claims from third parties who have not in fact been properly informed.

You have read the terms and conditions of any applicable Suppliers and agree to be bound by those.

You are responsible for checking the accuracy of all documents provided to you.

You are responsible for contacting the airline at least 72 hours prior to travel to reconfirm your booking.

Placing Orders

The promotion of Delightful Travel Products for Exclusive Resorts , tours or travel related services are not reserved until we reply you back with the email confirmation ( Except Hotels and Cruise sections) . Due to travel destinations time difference.

To the extent permitted by law We reserve the right to accept or reject Your offer for any reason (or no reason) including, but not limited to, the unavailability of any service or Product, an error in the price or product description, or an error in Your Order.

You must review Your Order carefully before placing it. Once your booking is confirmed with the the promoted Product deal, it is then non-changeable and non-refundable. If your order is not confirmed. We will reply you by email and refund all the payment.

Please note that as a general rule, We will not refund Your purchase where You have made an error. In the event that We cancel or are unable to fulfil Your Order (including because Exclusive Resorts, tours or travel related services have become unavailable or We cease selling the product for any reason whatsoever), We will provide a full refund of any payment received. Except as required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), We will not be liable to You for any other loss, such as any additional costs associated with you purchasing from another provider at a higher price.

Cheques

Please note that cheque payments (including bank cheques) require 5 business days to process. Please consider this when making payment. You agree not to stop payment of the cheque even when you cancel a booking. Cheques will not be accepted for travel within 7 working days of travel.

Credit Cards

Credit card surcharges may apply when paying by credit card. If you intend to pay by credit card it is essential that we are informed at the time of booking what type of credit card you wish to use so that we can ensure that the airline or wholesaler accepts this type of card as form of payment.

Credit Card Fees:

Mastercard and Visa incur a fee of 2%

American Express incur a fee of 3.5%

Credit card surcharge can not be refunded after the amount has been charged through the machine provider.

If for any reason any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted, your remedy lies against that provider, and not against Delightful Travel . In the event that payment has been made to Delightful Travel by credit card, and Delightful Travel has passed on the payment to the travel service provider you agree that you will not seek to charge back your payment to Delightful Travel .

If purchase from  our store : A “Credit Card Charge Authority Form” must be completed and returned to your consultant as soon as possible. Reference is also made to the section that advises that credit card details may also be passed on to the airline or wholesaler to process the charge.

Direct Deposit/Internet Transfer (please contact us direct rather than pay online)

If you would prefer to direct deposit or internet transfer payments into our account please contact your travel consultant for the bank details. If you choose to make payments this way you will need to deposit the funds 2 working days earlier than the required due date. We will not be held responsible for any overdue payments.

Availability of Accommodation and Services and Scheduling

You agree and acknowledge that: where suppliers offer services on the basis of ‘subject to availability’ or an experience based on an itinerary or schedule of events, the scheduling of or Order for those events may vary from time to time; the suppliers of certain types of experiences may impose conditions such as a minimum age or other restrictions regarding weight, health or other factors.

It is Your responsibility to confirm details of any restrictions that may apply Delightful Travel to finalising any booking and confirm that you are able to comply; photographs appearing on Our website to illustrate details of offers of suppliers are generally those made available to Us by suppliers or chosen by Us. They are intended to be indicative only of the accommodation, location, services, facilities, and attractions at which services are offered by suppliers. For example, they may depict only one of various rooms, facilities and attractions at which the offer is located in or nearby Your accommodation. This may not be the room type, location or facility applicable to Your chosen version of the offer; a representation on the website that services will be available over a range of dates does not preclude You from being required to make a booking for the services to which the booking relates. Passports, Visas & Immigration

It is your responsibility to fulfil the passport, visa and other immigration requirements applicable to your itinerary. You need a valid passport for all international travel. Many countries require that your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your expected period of travel. With some countries you will need to have more than 6 Months Validity after the Travel Finished , eg Dubai. The name provided by you for your travel tickets must be the same as that in your passport. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have all the documentation you need for your journey. Visas are obtained from the issuing authority in Australia and you should confirm these with the relevant High Commissions, embassies and/or consulates. Visa requirements vary by both country you are travelling to and the current citizenship you hold so please ensure you check well in advance of your travel dates to allow sufficient processing time as required by the embassy. Either airline staff or immigration authorities may not allow you to pass through customs and board your flight without the appropriate visa and some countries will not allow you to enter without proof of a return or onward electronic or paper ticket. Airline check in staff at your point of origin may deny boarding you. If you proceed to book a one way ticket please ensure you have checked with the Consulate of the country you are travelling to in order to ensure that you comply with their laws and regulations. We do not accept any responsibility in the case you being unable to travel due to not complying with such requirements. If you are in any doubt as to the visa requirements for your destination you may refer to an online external visa advisory service, The Visa Machine at www.visasdirect.com.au.

By agreeing to the sale, Travel assumes that you will make arrangements for the required visas. Delightful Travel cannot accept responsibility for the content or accuracy of information provided in any external websites not within Delightful Travel’s control

Travel Advice and Vaccinations

Australian residents should refer to the travel advice posted by the Department of Foreign Affairs at https://www.dfat.gov.au/ or https://www.smarttraveller.gov.au/ for all the countries you intend to visit. Vaccinations may be required for some or all of the places you are intending to visit. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have arranged all necessary vaccinations for your itinerary.

Taxes and Frequent Flyer Program

Local travel and airport taxes and charges may apply in various overseas countries. Unless otherwise stated, these taxes are not included as part of the fees. Taxes and duties may need to be paid in local currency at the time of departure and are subject to change without notice.

It is your responsibility to check with your airlines on whether your booking with us is qualified for any points under any frequent flyer programs. Please retain all boarding passes to allow verification of your travel if required.

We reserve the right to cancel and reschedule Your booking due to unforeseen circumstances. Except as required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), We will not be held liable for such events and We will not reimburse You for any travelling, accommodation or other expenses incurred by You or any other person.

Bookings

The amount will vary per booking depending on the supplier’s requirements. Prior to the due date, the balance owing may be paid by one of our payment options. If this is the case you will be notified at time of booking. Travel vouchers and booking confirmations cannot be issued until final payment is received. Any booking not paid in full by the due date is subject to automatic cancellation without further notification. Any deposit paid will be forfeited..

In order to protect the interests of other passengers, please arrive at the pick-up point on time or early. If you do not show up before the time, it will be regarded as a no show, and it’s non refundable  and no rescheduling will be granted. The company strongly recommends that guests purchase travel insurance.

For weather factors and other force majeure, any itinerary changes and losses, as well as any accidents and casualties, the company will not be responsible and will not compensate! The company reserves the right to change or cancel the itinerary, replace or cancel the tour, shorten or extend the itinerary.
