In the morning we will pick you up at your hotel and start our complete tour of one of the most famous cities in Brazil and probably the world!

The first stop is the summit of Corcovado, the mountain on which the Christ statue stands, which is considered one of the seven wonders of the modern world. From above we will observe the city of Carioca and this extraordinary panoramic view will leave us speechless! Then it goes to the second stage: the Sugar Loaf, a hill that we take the cable car up to.

Our complete tour of Rio de Janeiro also includes a visit to the Maracanã Stadium (from the outside), one of the most important in the world. For a long time it was the largest stadium in the world, but it owes its fame above all to the World Cup in 1950 and 2014. From the outside we will be able to remember the historic games.

Of course, the Sambodrome, the home of Samba, should not be missing on our tour. This 550 meter long open air building is home to the world famous Rio Carnival Parade, one of the most incredible parties in the world.

We will also enter the Metropolitan Cathedral of San Sebastian, one of the landmarks of the city, which is characterized by a pyramidal structure reminiscent of the typical religious buildings of pre-Columbian America. Then we will go to the city center to immerse ourselves in local culture, climb the Selarón stairs and cross the arches of Lapa on board our vehicle.

We will also be offered a buffet lunch throughout the tour of Rio de Janeiro. At the end of the tour we will bring you back to your hotel.

In the afternoon, we will pick you up from your hotel and drive to the Rocinha Favela, one of the largest in Brazil.

­ 

In this walking tour we are going to talk about the most negative prejudices related to favelas and look at some little known aspects of these places. We will discover the power of teaching concretely by knowing deeply about the educational projects of social reintegration. Thanks to these programs, the residents of the favelas can live legally without having to use violence.

­ 

Contrary to popular belief, you can find many interesting forms of artistic expression in these areas of Rio. In fact, we will see Rocinha's famous street art. Some of the murals are true works of art and the colorful buildings in the neighborhood are masterpieces of the creativity of the Rocinha people.

Our route also includes a stop at the "devil's trampoline". This is the name of the Gávea Circuit that runs through Rocinha. Its sweeping curves put experienced drivers to the test between 1933 and 1954, during the years when these car races were among the most important in Brazil.

After visiting the favela, we will return to the starting point in Rocinha and then accompany you to your hotel in Rio de Janeiro.

Ontbijt in het hotel. Na het ontbijt ga je met je gids naar het vliegveld voor devlucht naar Foz do Iguaçu. Eenmaal aangekomen wacht er een auto op je om je naar je hotel te brengen. In de namiddag bezoek je de Braziliaanse kant van de watervallen.

Laat je verblinden door een van de grote wereldwonderen, de Iguazu watervallen, met meer dan 270 adembenemende watervallen.

Nadat je door het bezoekerscentrum bent gelopen, vervolg je je tour naar de prachtige Iguazu watervallen. Maak een wandeling van 1 kilometer en bewonder de schoonheid van de omgeving. Deze wandeling biedt je een verbazingwekkend panoramisch uitzicht op de watervallen en een blik van dichtbij op de Devil's Throat Waterval.

Je tour eindigt op de top van de Iguazu watervallen, die je kunt bereiken via de trap of de Panoramalift. Volg dan de loopbrug naar de Porto Canoas Space, waar je de Iguazu rivier kunt zien. Na afloop van je tour staat je busje klaar om je terug te brengen naar je hotel.

Bezoek daarna het vogelpark van Foz do Iguazu met meer dan 150 verschillende soorten. In enorme volières kun je ara's, papegaaien, toekans enz. van dichtbij bekijken en observeren. Aves Parque is een internationaal erkend centrum voor de recreatie en bescherming van vogels in het weelderige Atlantische regenwoud.

Na het ontbijt rijden we naar de Argentijns-Braziliaanse grens, naar de indrukwekkende watervallen van Iguazu. Meer dan 275 watervallen storten zich in de diepte over een lengte van 2,7 km. Samen met onze Engelssprekende gids nemen we een treintje naar het beste uitzichtpunt van de watervallen, de "Garganta del Diablo". Op 80 m storten de donderende watermassa's zich direct aan de rand voor ons in de diepte. Zoals de naam al zegt, is dit het hoogste deel van de Iguazu watervallen: een gigantisch waterspektakel, het gebrul, de nevel en de kracht van dit natuurspektakel zullen een blijvende indruk op ons achterlaten. Verschillende uitkijkpunten langs de loopbruggen bieden gevarieerde perspectieven.

Na het ontbijt in het hotel in Foz do Iguaçu word je naar het vliegveld gebracht en vlieg je naar het noordelijke Manaus. Daar word je opgehaald van het vliegveld, naar je hotel gebracht en heb je de rest van de dag ter vrije besteding. Hier kun je een kijkje nemen in de "poort naar de Amazone" Manaus, dat ook vaak het "Parijs van de tropen" wordt genoemd. De oude stad bestaat uit oude gebouwen, die aan het begin van de 20e eeuw in de "Art Noveau" stijl werden gebouwd van onderdelen die per schip uit Europa kwamen.

Departure from the hotel in Manaus to the port, where we will board a speedboat and travel down the Negro River on the left bank, seeing the floating port of Manaus, regional boats and the Municipal Market. We continue to the Meeting of the Waters (Rio Negro and Solimões) with a stop to observe the natural phenomenon.

On to the Janauari Ecological Park. Located on the Rio Negro, the park spreads over 9,000 hectares of dry land forest, igapós and flooded forests. We will be able to see the famous Vitória Régia, a local aquatic plant, up close.

Stop for lunch at a floating restaurant and a visit to the local craft stores.

Afterwards, we head straight to the indigenous tribe where we will be welcomed by the shaman and invited to attend the welcome ritual. After the ritual, we have free time to talk to the members of the tribe and enjoy their handicrafts.  Afterwards, we will have an experience with the pink dolphins, sweet and friendly animals that live freely in the rivers. Return to Manaus, with an estimated arrival time of 16:00.

Transfer to the Amazon EcoPark Jungle Lodge. Visit the monkey forest which is a rehabiliation centre set up for the recovery and re-introduction of wild animals to their habitat with the intention of receiving animals that have been confiscated from illegal trade. 

This afternoon experience fishing for piranhas or other species and in the evening enjoy a canoe ride and alligator spotting.

You will have a full day to explore the Amazon jungle accompanied by local guides. Your program will include:

• a nature hike during which your guide will teach you about the local flora and fauna, how and where to find edible fruits and potable water, how to find your way in the forest and much more
• a visit to a native's house to learn about the traditions and customs of local Amazonians
• a fishing trip

Aankomst in Salvador da Bahia, ook bekend als het "Land van Geluk", een historische stad aan de noordkust van Brazilië. De Renaissance architectuur van Salvador doet denken aan de koloniale tijd toen de stad de hoofdstad was van het Braziliaanse Rijk. Bahia was ook de plaats van de eerste slavenmarkt in Amerika en de bevolking weerspiegelt de unieke mix van Afrikaans, Europees en Indiaans erfgoed.

The Salvador Historical Tour is a charming tour of the city of Salvador, the first capital of Brazil, which possesses one of the most powerful cultures in the country and is influenced by the African people who have left their cultural legacy in music, food and local culture Religion. The highlights (of which we will visit two internally) are: Terreiro de Jesus, São Francisco Church, Museu Da Misericórdia, Basilica Cathedral, Casa do Olodum, Nossa Senhora do Rosário dos Pretos Church and mainly the joy of the people.

In the afternoon you leave for another tour. The Bahia Negra tour is perfect for those with an interest and desire to immerse themselves a bit more in the African-derived culture and religion called candomblé.

We start the tour by visiting a percussion workshop, where we will meet the master of rhythms who will introduce us to the famous atabaques, rum, rumpi and lê that are musical instruments usually played in camdomblé ceremonies . We will experience and learn the beat of the drums and the African and Brazilian rhythms that enchants visitors from around the world in a truly immersive musical experience.

Right after, we will meet the capoeira master, where we will exchange some information and learn a little more about this art that was brought by the slaves and that today represents so much the local culture worldwide. The next part will be to enjoy the dance to the sound of the berimbau . In this class, you will learn the swing and some of the main movements used in the most traditional cultural manifestation of Bahia, Capoeira. It will be a time of learning and a lot of relaxation.

Then, we will use the public transport to go to the largest and most traditional fair in Salvador, the “Feira de São Joaquim”. An exotic and unique fair, a wonderful place to have a real interaction with the local people and taste the spices and secrets of the local culture and observe the immense variety of stalls aimed at African Cults. We will end our tour once again using public transport that will take us from the Fair to the Lacerda Elevator, where we will go up to the Historic Center.
