Day 1
Aankomst Dhaka; Luchthaven Pick-up
Welcome to take our Bangladesh private tour with daily departure from September to May, which can be tailored to meet your individual interests. You will have a more personalized experience as the trip is only for your private party, with no other people.
Our tour guide and representative will pick you up at the Arrival Hall of Dhaka International Airport. Then you will be transferred to the hotel for rest. Your English speaking tour guide will be with you throughout the entire trip, including the train trip and stays on overnight boat.

Day 2
Dhaka Stad Hoogtepunten Tour; Aan boord van de Cruise naar Barisal
Laten we je beste Bangladesh-tour beginnen met een duik in de Kawranbazar Vegetable Market, de drukste groothandelsmarktplaats om de meest dynamische kant van Dhaka te ontdekken. Rijd vervolgens naar de National Assembly (het parlementsgebouw) en neem de tijd om het stijlvolle ontwerp van buitenaf te fotograferen. De volgende bezienswaardigheid is de bijna 200 jaar oude Star Mosque, indrukwekkend vanwege de honderden blauwe stermotieven aan de buitenkant van de witte koepels. Vervolgens leren we de vroege geschiedenis van de onafhankelijkheid van Bangladesh in Curzon Hall aan de Universiteit van Dhaka en betuigen we respect aan de hindoegodin Durga in de Dhakeswari Tempel. Op onze agenda staan ook het onvoltooide maar spookachtige paleis Lalbagh Fort, de Armeense kerk, het enige erkende erfgoed dat de aanwezigheid van de Armeniërs in Bandladesh markeert, en Ahsan Manzil, een roze paleis dat ooit de residentie was van de Nawabs (landeigenaren) van Dhaka.
Na het bezoek gaan we naar Sadarghat River Port, waar je een spannend tafereel kunt zien van talloze mensen en goederen die aankomen en vertrekken. Maak een kort boottochtje als je wilt! Het geeft je een panorama van de fascinerende chaos op de oevers. Om ongeveer 08:30 uur gaan we aan boord van een modern schip naar Barisal vanuit de rivierhaven. Breng de nacht aan boord door.

Day 3
Barisal Backwater Cruise; Rijden naar Mongla met Sightseeing Stop in Bagerhat
The ship will arrive at Barisal in the very early morning. After breakfast, leave the ship and drive to Banaripara to start our backwater cruise to a traditional floating market. Located on one of largest deltas on this planet, Bangladesh is known for its extensive river network, with the essence found in Barisal. As such, water becomes the cradle of local life and business. Today, we will navigate our way along a tranquil backwater canal into a local water market, where talking vendors and wooden boats full of crops offer you some best moments to glimpse into Bangladeshi life.
After lunch, we will drive to Bagerhat to visit the Sixty Dome Mosque, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Acclaimed as the most impressive mosque on the Indian subcontinent and from the Sultanate era (1204-1576 AD), it dwarfs all others in representing the ancient Bengal architecture. Follow your guide to admire its stunning brickwork and terracotta designs! Next, visit Shrine of Khan Jahan Ali, the mausoleum of a celebrated Sufi, and the nearby Nine Dome Mosque, before we drive for about 1.5 hours to take the Sundarbans reserved boat.

Day 4
Maak een boottocht naar het Sundarbans National Park
s Ochtends brengen we je per boot van een pier in Mongla naar het Sundarbans National Park. Dit park, dat op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat omdat het het grootste mangrovebos op aarde en een gevarieerde zeldzame fauna heeft, is de thuisbasis van Koninklijke Bengaalse tijgers die kunnen zwemmen, een uniek resultaat van aanpassing aan de omgeving. Je kunt ook bedreigde dolfijnen, wilde zwijnen, herten en een verscheidenheid aan andere nieuwsgierige dieren verwachten. Laten we eerst een toegangspas aanvragen bij het Chadpai Forest Office en een bewaker uitnodigen om ons tijdens de boswandeling te beschermen. Boot naar Harbaria Eco-Center, "het huis van de tijgers", vanwaar we diep het park in gaan. Na een safaritocht gaan we naar Kochikhali en lunchen we aan boord. s Avonds meert de boot aan bij het Kochikhali Forest Office. Slaap op de boot.
Over de Sundarbans Boot:
De kleine Sundarbans boot is vrij van het lawaai van airconditioning en wordt gedeeld door niet meer dan 20 passagiers. We varen rustig door het park voor een milieuvriendelijke verkenning. Door ons gedeisd te houden, jagen we de wilde dieren die we willen zien niet weg. Als je van heel koel weer houdt, kom dan van november tot februari. Hoewel het heet kan zijn in september, oktober en april, zorgen de stalen aluminium romp en een ventilator op zonne-energie bij elke kamer voor een koelere nacht.

Day 5
Ervaar het unieke Kotka Wildlife Sanctuary
Vanochtend nemen we de boot naar Kotka. Het duurt ongeveer 2 uur om in Kotka aan te komen. De diverse wilde dieren en natuurlijke schoonheden onderweg zullen je geest bezig houden. Nadat we van de boot zijn gestapt, gaan we naar het rustige Jamtola Sea Beach om te genieten van het prachtige landschap van de Golf van Bengalen.
Het hoogtepunt van vandaag komt in de middag als we het Kotka Wildlife Sanctuary bezoeken, een van de meest toegankelijke plekken om wilde dieren te bekijken. Apen, herten, krokodillen, verschillende vogels... Bereid je camera voor! Je kunt ook een verrekijker meenemen om schuwere of ongenaakbare dieren te bekijken. s Avonds stopt de boot in Chadpai en zal de kok een heerlijk BBQ-diner voor je bereiden.

Day 6
Trip naar plaatselijk vissersdorp; transfer naar Khulna
Today we will arrange a special trip for you: go to a local fishing village to experience the life of Bangladeshi fishermen and learn about their life. Lunch will mark the end of our Sundarbans tour. After getting off the ship that docks at a Mongla’s port, drive for 1.5 hours to Khulna and have a one-night hotel stay.

Day 7
Neem de trein naar Rajshahi; Bezoek Puthia Tempelstad
Today, the guide will accompany you on a train to Rajshahi. Enjoy the vibrancy at the train station and the pleasant views outside on your way. On arriving at Rajshahi six hours later, check in at the hotel, have a short break, and hop in our car to Puthia Temple City, the place to find the largest Hindu temple complex in Bangladesh. Govinda Temple, where you can appreciate elaborate terracotta designs depicting Hindu epics, and the imposing Shiva Temple are our main destinations in this temple city. Finally, go to Padma River bank and admire sunset over the river. Go back to the hotel after the sightseeing.

Day 8
Bezoek Paharpur Boeddhist Bihar; Transfer naar Bogra & Bezoek Mahasthangarh
In the morning, we will drive to the village of Paharpur. On the way, stop by the Kushumba Mosque, a rare stone mosque whose image is printed on the 5 Bangladeshi taka note. Afterwards, pass a great expanse of sugarcane fields and gardens until we arrive at Paharpur to visit another UNESCO site, Paharpur Buddhist Bihar, also known as Sompura Mohavihara. The impressive architecture of this Buddhist temple seems to be a work of modern geometric art, while its history can actually date back to the 9th century. With statues of Buddha and Hindu deities found in abundance, the thick otherworldly atmosphere will carry you away.
After lunch, drive to Bogra and we’ll visit Mahasthangarh, an archaeological site to find ancient traces of the lost Pundra Kingdom that dates from 300 BC. At dusk, we will enjoy an amazing sunset from Vasu Vihara. After that, transfer to your hotel in Bogra.

Day 9
Bogra naar Sirajganj, rondvaart op de Jamuna rivier; transfer terug naar Dhaka
The first attraction for today is the Navaratna Temple at Sirajganj. Although its nine minarets were lost in some 300 years of history, it’s still an architectural gem with beautiful sophisticated motifs entirely covering its terracotta walls. Next, we are going to experience a 1.5-hour cruise on the Jamuna River, a main river of Bangladesh. Later, drive around 3 hours back to Dhaka. We will arrive in Dhaka at dusk and check in at the hotel.

Day 10
Rit naar Srimangal voor theeplantage tour
From 7:00 am, a 4.5-hour drive will take us to Srimangal, the tea capital of Bangladesh. Before you will unfold boundless terraced tea gardens, along with waterfalls, wildlife sanctuaries, tribal villages, as well as plantations of other crops like rubber and pineapple. After checking into the hotel, begin our tour with a visit to a famous local tea garden.
After lunch, have a walk inside the Rubber Garden, visit Manipuri Tribal Village, and learn about local people’s traditional weaving methods. In this way, we are playing a part in protecting the tradition, which is slowly dying for lack of support. In the evening, we will taste the "7-Layer Tea", which the tribe is particularly famous for. Overnight in Srimangal.

Day 11
Trip naar Lawachara National Park; Rit terug naar Dhaka
In the morning, we will go on an adventure in Lawachara National Park. There are many precious endangered animals in the park, the most famous of which is Hoolock Gibbon. Then, drive to Madhabpur Lake, originally a water-supplying reservoir and now a sightseeing spot, to stroll its banks amidst tranquil scenic views. From the dam, you can also view the Indian territory of Tripura. After having a meal at the local restaurant, we will return to Dhaka.

Day 12
Vlieg van Dhaka naar Chittagong; Stadswandeling
Neem vandaag een ochtendvlucht naar Chittagong. Vanaf het vliegveld stoppen we eerst bij Potenga Sea Beach om een spektakel te zien van schepen die naar de haven van onze bestemming varen. Daarna gaan we naar Karnafully fishing front en Sadarghat area, de oudste waterkant van Chittagong om fascinerende vissersboten, bazaars en kleurrijk beschilderde riksja's te zien. Daarna gaan we inchecken en lunchen in een goed restaurant.
In de namiddag brengen we een bezoek aan de Chittagong World War Cemetery, een vredig land waar soldaten uit het Gemenebest begraven liggen die zich tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog hebben opgeofferd. Onze laatste activiteit vandaag is een boottocht naar het kustgebied van Kumira om 's werelds grootste scheepssloperij te bezoeken. Overnacht in Chittagong.

Day 13
Rijden naar Rangamati; Cruise op Kaptai Lake
Vanochtend vertrekken we naar Rangamati, een verborgen juweeltje in de Chittagong Hills regio. Voordat we daar aankomen, stoppen we bij het heiligdom van Bayezid Bostami - een heilige plaats voor soefi-moslims met een buitenkant geschilderd in rustgevend wit en zacht blauw. Bij aankomst in Rangamati zetten we onze bagage af bij het hotel en beginnen we aan onze spannende Rangamati cruise op het Kaptai meer. Het meer, samen met het omringende weelderige groen en de inheemse culturen van de Murang, Kuki, Chakma, enz. vormen samen een paradijs voor avonturiers en fotografen. Tijdens de 5 tot 6 uur durende cruise komen we langs de beroemde Bonorupa drijvende markt, Rajban Vihar (een boeddhistische tempel), het Chakma koningshuis en de Shuvolong waterval. Laat in de middag ga je naar de Bonorupa Bazaar, waar de lokale bevolking hun dagelijkse benodigdheden verhandelt. Overnacht in Rangamati.

Day 14
Bezoek aan inheemse dorpen in Rangamati; transfer terug naar Chittagong; vlucht naar Dhaka
Today, the guide will take you to visit some tribal villages in Rangamati. You can chat with local residents and know about their lives with the help of the guide. On the way back to Chittagong, we will pay a visit to the district’s iconic Hanging Bridge. After arriving in Chittagong, have lunch at a local restaurant. Then drive to Chittagong Airport and fly to Dhaka. Stay near the airport tonight.

Day 15
Luchthaven Dhaka Zie-off
