In 8 dagen kun je een tocht maken door het zuiden van Madagaskar, het deel van het grote eiland met de rijkste en meest verrassende ontdekkingen op het gebied van landschap, flora en fauna.
Vanaf de eerste etappe: je gaat rechtstreeks naar Ifaty, een vissersdorp in het noorden, op 35 km van Tuléar. Het is een bestemming die de schoonheid van de westkust van Madagaskar laat zien met zijn stranden omzoomd door een turquoise zee en zijn koraalrif. Er staan je verschillende activiteiten te wachten, zoals duiken en verschillende watersporten. Je hebt de mogelijkheid om het avontuur aan te gaan door een wandeling te maken in een kar getrokken door twee zebussen om het baobabbos te ontdekken waar je enkele vogelsoorten, kameleons en lemuren zult ontmoeten. The Isalo National Park created in 1962 is classified as an exceptional park. Extended over more than 100 km from north to south, it is truly unique in Madagascar by its geomorphological formation dating from the Jurassic: this ruiniform continental sandstone massif, carved deep canyons, hosts endemic rocky vegetation (Aloes, spurges, Pachypodes ...).

Na het ontbijt vertrek je vanuit Ranohira naar de stad Fianarantsoa. Je passeert de immense hoogvlakte van Ihorombe tot aan Ihosy. Je verlaat beetje bij beetje het droge zuiden en komt in het hoogland.
Een stop van ongeveer 1u30mn om het kleine reservaat van Anja te bezoeken dat wordt beheerd door de dorpsvereniging AMI (Anja Miray): een galerijbos van ficussen, lianen en orchideeën heeft zich ontwikkeld tussen spectaculaire rotsachtige chaos, soms grotten vormend die door sommige dieren als schuilplaats worden gebruikt. Op de hellingen van de reliëfs is de vegetatie gekoloniseerd door vetplanten, zoals pachypodiums en kalanchoës. In dit kleine park als groen paradijs ontdek je gemakkelijk de ringstaartmaki's die het embleem zijn van Madagaskar: de "makiscatta". Ze brengen veel tijd op de grond door en zijn gemakkelijk te observeren omdat ze niet al te schuw zijn. Lunch in het restaurant in Anja.
