Vandaag begint de rondreis in Islamabad, de hoofdstad van Pakistan. Deze stad verving Karachi in 1967 en is nu het politieke en commerciële hart van het land. Gelegen tegen de weelderige achtergrond van de Margalla Hills is het een stad waar oud en nieuw botsen. Op de groene lanen vind je moderne gebouwen en winkelcentra, maar ook traditionele huizen en moskeeën. De vlucht van de groep komt pas laat in de avond aan, dus wie vroeg aankomt kan beter een wandeling maken en de stad leren kennen.

Itinerary
Het Ghizer district ligt in het noordelijkste deel van de Noordelijke Gebieden van Pakistan. De hoofdstad van het district, Gakuch, is een kleine stad. Het Ghizer district verbindt de districten Gilgit en Chitral via de Shandur Pas. Jize is de toegangspoort tot Centraal Azië en een sluiproute naar Tadzjikistan. Ghizer is begiftigd met een wonderlijke landschappelijke schoonheid. Het seizoen van april tot half november is de beste tijd om deze plaatsen te bezoeken.

Vliegen naar Gilgit
Op deze dag nemen we een ochtendvlucht naar de stad Gilgit. (1 uur)
Je gids ontvangt je op de luchthaven van Gilgit. Na de luchthaventransfer maak je een roadtrip richting Ghizer Valley. Onderweg verken je eerst de Punial Vallei. Ghizer staat bekend als het 'Land van Meren', dus je zult veel meren en weelderig blauw helder water langs de Ghizer weg zien.
De Gupisvallei is een kruising tussen de Yasin- en Phundar-vallei en ligt in het zuidelijke deel van het district Ghizer. Punial produceert een grote hoeveelheid druiven in het gebied. De Punial-vallei is een bergachtig gebied en de belangrijkste plaats is Gahkuch. Sherqilla is het op één na grootste dorp in de Punial Vallei. Deze taal wordt Shina genoemd.
Na 2 uur rijden checken we in bij het hotel in Gahkuch, de hoofdstad van het Ghizer district.

Dag 3
Gupis Vallei
De Gupisvallei is een kruispunt tussen Gilgit en Chitral en verbindt de Yasin- en Phundar-vallei met elkaar. De Yasin Gupis ligt in het zuidelijke deel van de Gupis-regio. Van januari tot eind februari valt er zware regen. Belangrijke toeristische attracties zijn Gupis Castle, Khalti Lake, de steencirkels van de megalieten en het dorp Shingalote. Khalti Lake ligt op 20-30 minuten rijden van Gupis. Dit meer werd gevormd toen het water van de rivier ophield bij de vlakte. Dit meer staat bekend om zijn forelvissen. Het leger gebruikte het fort van Gupis ooit als verdedigingswerk. Er worden twee grote talen gesproken in deze regio: Khowar en Shina. Er zijn veel dorpen in de Gupis vallei, zoals Yungal, Sumal, Hakkis, Jindrote, Dahimal, pingaal en Khasundar.
Dag 4
Phandar Vallei
De Phander vallei is een prachtige plek om te zijn en het is een paradijs op aarde. Forel staat bekend als een populaire vis. De natuurlijke schoonheid van de verschillende plekken in Phander trekt mensen naar zich toe. Het ligt in het noordwestelijke deel van de stad Gilgit. Op de hoofdroute Gilgit Chitral zijn veel plaatsen waar je comfortabel en betaalbaar kunt overnachten. De Gilgit rivier heeft prachtig blauw water in dit gebied. De bergen rond de meren zijn hoog. Er zijn vier grote meren en het grootste meer is Phander Lake. Als de rivier de vallei binnenkomt, wordt hij verdeeld in verschillende kleinere stroompjes en vloeit uiteindelijk weer samen als hij de vallei verlaat. Phander omvat Shamarn, Chachi, Dalimal, Gulagmuli en Teru. De belangrijkste taal die in de Phander vallei wordt gesproken is Khowar.
Dag 5
Yasin Vallei
Yasin Valley, gelegen in de noordelijke regio van het Gupis Yasin district, wordt ook wel het "land van de martelaren" genoemd. Ongeveer 148 kilometer scheiden deze vallei van de stad Gilgit. De inwoners van Yasin zijn ijverig, eerlijk, moedig en openhartig. Burushaski en Khowar zijn twee van de belangrijkste talen die lokaal worden gebruikt. Hawaldar Lalak Jan Shaheed, die de hoogste onderscheiding van het Pakistaanse leger, Nishan-e-Haider, kreeg voor zijn dapperheid in de Kargil oorlog, behoorde tot Hundur Yasin. Gindai, Bajyot, Chaliharang, Thodas, Manich, Taus, Sultanabad, Huwalti, Thoi, Barkolti, Sandi, Darkot, Hundur, Qurqalti en Gojalti zijn enkele van de dorpen in de Yasin Vallei.
Yasin is verbonden met Chitral en Wakhan door de Darkot Pas. De belangrijkste trekpleister zijn plaatsen als Makkoli, Darkut en het Mudori fort. In deze vallei worden abrikozen, kaas en appels in overvloed geproduceerd. De inwoners van Yasin zijn oorspronkelijk brusho, maar hier wonen migranten uit verschillende delen van het land.
Dag 6
Yasin Vallei
De Yasin Vallei had een belangrijke plaats in de geschiedenis van het gebied, en de personages in het bijzonder. Het voortdurende conflict tussen de leiders van Chitral en Gilgit over Yasin bracht het onder de aandacht van het Victoriaanse Groot-Brittannië nadat de Britse ontdekkingsreiziger George Hayward in de hoger gelegen delen van de vallei was gedood.
De vallei ontvangt veel water en vooral de lagere delen hebben veel landbouwgrond. Eind augustus, wanneer de tarwe en maïs zich klaarmaken voor de oogst, is misschien wel het moment waarop je yasin op zijn mooist kunt zien.
Dag 7
Ishkoman Vallei
De grens met Afghanistan en de Pamir Wakhan Corridor ligt ten noorden van het district Ghizer. Het is een adembenemende vallei met bergen en gletsjers. Ook bekend zijn de forellen die er leven. Het heeft in totaal ongeveer 30 dorpen, waaronder Chatorkhand, Ghotolti, dat 30.000 inwoners telt. De lokale bevolking spreekt Wakhi, Khowar, Shana en Burushaski, de vier belangrijkste talen. Dit is de meest diverse vallei in heel Gilgit-Baltistan.

Rijd terug naar Gilgit vanuit Ishkoman Valley. (3 uur)
Overnachting in Gilgit Stad.

Vlieg terug naar Islamabad
Ochtendvlucht naar Islamabad vanaf de luchthaven Gilgit.

On our holidays tour / trek packages, rooms or tents are provided in twin sharing basis. Thus, single room supplement charge will be imposed to client who does not have another tour participant to share room / tent with.
INCOMPLETE TOUR:
No refund will be made to clients who drop out from the journey regardless of whatever portions remain unused in the itinerary.
CLIENTS’ RESPONSIBLE:
A tour / trek guide who represents Exploria deserves all authority during your tours. If you commit any unlawful act, you are compelled to leave the tour. No refund will be made in such case.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
EXPLORIA will provide the insurance only for our staff and local porters and EXPLORIA not responsible for the clients insurance. The Company strongly recommends that all travelers purchase trip cancellation & interruption, hospital and medical, and baggage insurance to protect their travel plans.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
It is the client’s own responsibility to obtain passport and travel visa. The client is responsible for providing the Company with correct, complete and accurate information regarding personal details. Failure to comply with this requirement may lead to unnecessary financial loss or the client’s dismissal from the tour.
HEALTH & FITNESS REQUIREMENTS
The Company is unable to accommodate participants with physical or mental disability who require special attention. Our tours involve frequent and strenuous walking and stair climbing. For our trekking, a high level of fitness is required of all clients. A client who is deemed unreasonably impeding the progress of the tour due to physical disability will be removed from the tour at the client’s expense. Anyone over the age of 74 is required to submit a completed form for the Company to assess their ability to travel.
CANCELLATION:
31 days or more: 80% refund
30/11 days before the circuit starts: 50% refund
10/01 days before the circuit starts: 20% refund

While EXPLORIA makes every effort to assure the highest quality tour programmers possible, EXPLORIA shall not, in any event whatsoever, be responsible in any way for personal injury, loss or damage to baggage and/or personal property, illness or death, or for any damages or claims sustained by the participant arising out of the participant’s involvement in our tours.
Upon booking with EXPLORIA, you accept and understand that there is an element of risk and hazard to partaking in adventure programmers of this nature. Any and all matters of unforeseen circumstances may occur, resulting in changes in routing, mode of transport, or accommodation and unfulfilled portions of the itinerary. EXPLORIA will not be responsible for itinerary delays, changes and cancellations and resulting expenses incurred by participants due to inclement weather, natural disasters (ie. landslides, avalanches, earthquakes, flooding, etc.), mechanical breakdowns, flight cancellations, political unrest and local strikes. Such changes, substitutions and cancellations made necessary due to the above-noted and related conditions may be made by EXPLORIA at any time and without notice.
Participants booked and confirmed on an EXPLORIA programmer are required to sign the booking form signifying acceptance of all terms and conditions as outlined.

There is virtually possibility of flight delay or postponement for notorious weather in Karakorum , Hindukush & Himalayan Mountain regions of Pakistan which could be happened, especially during off season, you’re highly advised to reserve extra days to prepare with some delays and avoid frustrating consequence.
