Dag 1

Windhoek

Welcome at the airport in Windhoek and short drive (approx. 50 km) in a modern luxury four-wheel drive vehicle to your hotel in Windhoek. In the afternoon city tour. Overnight stay at Hotel Heinitzburg - Superior Deluxe.

Dag 2

Windhoek - Kalahari-woestijn

(approx. 260 km). After breakfast, departure to the south of the country to the Kalahari Desert. In the late afternoon, drive in an off-road vehicle through impressive red sand dunes with game viewing and a champagne drink at sunset on a dune. The main house consisting of reception, lobby, restaurant and bar, the pool and the shady terrace are situated in a dried-up lake (vlei). A 120 meter long wooden walkway connects the main building with the chalets, which are nestled around the "vlei", where game can often be observed. Each chalet has a tented and a stone/thatched area as well as a private deck. 1 overnight stay at Kalahari Red Dunes Lodge.

Dag 3

Fish River Canyon Nationaal Park - Sossusvlei

(flight time approx. 1.5 hours). You fly with your pilot to the impressive Fish River Canyon, while your guide drives west into the Namib Desert with the car and the rest of your luggage. Once you arrive at the Fish River Canyon, you will visit the breathtaking canyon with a local guide. It is considered one of the natural wonders of the world and is the largest canyon in Africa at around 170 km long, up to 27 km wide and 550 m deep, and the second largest canyon in the world after the Grand Canyon. From the viewpoint you have a breathtaking view of the valley. After lunch, you will fly over the rugged, winding gorges of the Fish River Canyonn, followed by fantastic views of the western edge of the country, the picturesque Tsaris Mountains and the fascinating landscape of the pre-Namib. Overnight stay at the Namib Outpost.

Day 4

Dagen 4-5: Sossusvlei - Wolwedans

Before you set off for Wolwedans, you will take part in a hot air balloon safari. The Wolwedans Mountain View Suite with 200 square meters of deck rises above the dunes, offers plenty of living space and adds a touch of luxury to the Wolwedans Collection. A shaded terrace provides an ideal spot for meals and relaxing hours in a hammock. 2 nights at Wolwedans - Mountain View.

Dag 6

Swakopmund

(flight time approx. 1.5 hours). Today you will be picked up before sunrise to take part in a breathtaking, approx. 1-hour hot air balloon flight over the fascinating desert and dune landscape of the Namib. After landing, a hearty breakfast awaits you before you fly on again in your private small aircraft over the endless expanses of the Atlantic coast and via Conception Bay and Sandwich Harbour to Swakopmund. Your tour guide will be waiting for you at the airfield and will take you to your overnight hotel, which is located directly by the sea. You have the rest of the day at leisure. 1 overnight stay at the Strand Hotel - Junior Suite.

Day 6

Dagen 7-8: Damaraland

(Flight duration approx. 1 hour) Your guide will drive you to Walvis bay for a catamaran trip and then to Swakopmund Airfield. Scenic flight to Damaraland to Hoanib Valley Camp, situated in Kaokoland, far away from civilization. The comfortable tented camp is tucked into a rocky basin on the edge of a large open area and overlooks the wide plain as far as the Hoanib dry river. On the second day, drive in search of the legendary desert elephants in an open off-road vehicle with the lodge or take part in other lodge activities. 2 nights at Hoanib Valley Camp.

Day 7

Dagen 9-10: Skeletkust

(flight duration approx. 30 min). You fly back to the Atlantic coast to Möwe Bay. On the second day you take a nature tour inland. This drive is considered one of the most spectacular drives on the African continent, during which you drive along the Hoanib dry riverbed, with a bit of luck you will encounter desert elephants. In the afternoon you have the opportunity to explore the dune landscape and the coastal section on the lodge's quad bikes. 2 nights at the Shipwreck Lodge.

Day 8

Dagen 11-12: Epupa Faelle / Kunene

(After breakfast, you will fly further north to Namibia's border with Angola, which is marked by the majestic Kunene River. Today your pilot will take you further north to Serra Cafema Camp. With its untouched mountain landscape, river valleys and dune landscapes, this is a remarkable paradise, especially for nature lovers. The exclusive chalets made of natural materials are situated on raised decks. They have a cozy lounge, a large terrace, an en-suite bathroom with outdoor shower and a view over the landscape. In terms of activities, you can choose between exciting nature walks, river cruises, game drives and guided quad bike excursions. You can also visit the Himba tribe, one of the last remaining indigenous peoples in the world. 2 nights at Serra Cafema Camp.

Dag 13

Etosha Nationaal Park

(flight duration approx. 1 hour). Flight over the Epupa Falls to the Ongava Game Reserve on the border to Etosha National Park. Your next accommodation, Andersson Camp, is located on the border of Etosha National Park in the private Ongava Game Reserve. Your private safari lodge is an absolute insider tip among Namibia connoisseurs. The exquisite lodge is situated in the middle of an animal-rich private nature reserve and offers its guests modern and comfortably furnished chalets that nestle into the wilderness. An infinity pool provides cool refreshment - right next to the well-frequented waterhole that allows guests to meet the animals at eye level. In the afternoon you have the opportunity to take part in a bush walk where you will learn more about the conservation measures of the Onguma Game Reserve from your ranger and, with a little luck, see some animals that you have not yet been able to see. 2 nights at Andersson Camp.

Day 10

Dagen 14-15: Etosha Nationaal Park

(approx. 250 km) After breakfast, drive with your guide to Etosha National Park. The heart of the 22,270 km² animal paradise is the approx. 5,000 km² vegetation-free salt pan, which fills with life-giving water in rainy times. The enormous animal wealth includes over a hundred species of mammals, including cheetahs, leopards, lions, black rhinos, giraffes, the rare black-nosed impala and the famous "Etosha elephants". Before sunset, you drive to your lodge, where you can enjoy your evening meal under the African starry sky. The next day is spent with activities at the lodge. Your guide will bid you farewell after breakfast. 2 nights at Onguma Camp Kala.

Windhoek

Today your pilot will fly you to Windhoek International Airport for your onward journey or homeward journey.
