Deze markten creëren een magische sfeer waar familie en vrienden samenkomen om het seizoen te vieren. Bij de verschillende kraampjes verspreid over de markt kunnen bezoekers genieten van een verscheidenheid aan heerlijke kerstlekkernijen, variërend van versgebakken peperkoekjes tot warme kastanjes, en prachtig handgemaakte goederen waarderen die perfect zijn om cadeau te geven. Tijdens onze reis langs de schilderachtige rivier de Rijn nemen we de tijd om enkele van de beste markten in de charmante steden Keulen, Rüdesheim en Koblenz te verkennen. At breakfast time, we will arrive in Koblenz, one of the most beautiful and oldest cities in Germany. The city is located in the world-famous "German Corner". The spectacular landscape formed by four central massifs, vineyards and forests surround this town, whose existence of more than two thousand years is reflected in the architectural heritage in the form of wonderful churches and palaces, old aristocratic farmhouses and the magnificent stately homes of the high bourgeoisie.

Mainz en Rudesheim
We continue in Mainz, a city with a historical heritage of almost 2000 years. The cityscape is dominated by the cathedral. In the shadow of the temple, medieval Mainz stretches out, where life takes place in the angular and narrow alleys, in the many small shops, boutiques and cafés that surround the wonderful Kirschgarten with its romantic half-timbered houses. The panorama of Mainz seen from the Rhine side seems rather restrained. It is dominated by two eras: Modernity with the City Hall, the Hilton Hotel and the Congress Centre in the Rheingoldhalle, and the Baroque or Renaissance with the Neues Zeughaus (new arsenal), the Deutschordenshaus and the Palace of the Prince Electors.
In the afternoon, we will arrive in Rüdesheim, one of the most visited villages in the country. Historical monuments such as the Klunkhardshof, the fortified Adler Tower, the thousand-year-old Brömser Castle or the ruins of Ehrenfels Castle invite you to spend some time in this town.
Day 4
Keulen
The cathedral city hosts multiple Christmas markets. After lunch, we arrive in Cologne, Germany's oldest city, known for its cultural and historical riches, exceptional museums, and lively art scene. Explore 2000 years of history and discover monuments from the Roman Empire to modern times. Guided tours of Cologne are available.
Day 5
Düsseldorf
Explore the Christmas markets in this cathedral city. Extend your visit with an overnight hotel stay after morning arrival and enjoy breakfast before departure. Safe travels!
