During this tour you will have the opportunity to discover how coffee is made.  Our guide will show the whole process since the beans are picked up in the plantation until it is served as one of the best coffees in the world.  After lunch, visit the main plaza of Antigua Guatemala. Visit to the most important and significant attractions of the city including Antigua’s most beautiful churches, monasteries and important monuments. When finished transfer back to your hotel in Antigua for overnight accommodations.

Pacaya Volcano Tour: After a nice walk-through volcanic sand paths with great views of the volcanoes and unique vegetation, you´ll arrive to the plateau where you can see the main crater of the volcano.  We won´t visit the crater of the volcano for security reasons but you will see the lava (if active) and some steam baths created by the heat of the Pacaya Volcano. Rest for 15 minutes. We will try to reach the lava to take a close look if available

Early in the morning you will be transfer to Chichicastenango’s market, the most colorful and exciting place in the Mayan Highlands and the only place in Guatemala of 100% Quiché population. When finish transfer to Tecpán, take a time for lunch (not included) and after that make a guide visit to the Iximche Ruins. In the afternoon transfer to your hotel in Guatemala City.

Visit to Lake Atitlán, one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. The word “Atitlán” is a Mayan word that translates as “the place where the rainbow gets its colors”. Panajachel is an 800 year old town of about 14000 people, mostly Kaqchikel Mayas and some foreigners from every corner of the globe, living inside that rainbow. Upon arrival discover the magic that surrounds all its greatness while taking a boat to cross the lake and visit a Tzutuhil Village. This place is known for being one of the most authentic and best kept secrets in Guatemala.  The visit will begin with a Cultural tour visiting the different workshops where you discover how a women’s weaving cooperative continues the traditional methods of dying thread with native plants. Observe the process of extracting natural dyes used to create extraordinary textile products. The experience will continue with an explanation of the murals, visit to the church and local houses.  Time to have lunch in one of the most exquisite restaurants with a magnificent view.  Transfer back to Panajachel by boat to have lunch and visit the most important places.

04:30 uur: Transfer van uw hotel in Guatemala-Stad naar de luchthaven. 06:30 uur: Vlucht vertrek van Guatemala-Stad naar Flores, Petén. 07:45 uur: Bij aankomst transfer naar een van de belangrijkste archeologische vindplaatsen van de Maya-wereld, Tikal, betekent de naam „Place of Voices”, gebouwd tijdens de Maya Classic Periode. 09:00 uur: Bij aankomst op de archeologische vindplaats Tikal toont onze gids u de indeling van het complex van tempels en Akropolis. Bezoek Complex Q en R, vervolgens naar de Centrale Akropolis, Tempels I „van de Gran Jaguar en de Tempel II” Los Mascarones „, beschouwd als de eerste van de belangrijkste binnen het complex. Bezoek aan de verloren wereld. Keer terug naar het bezoekerscentrum voor de lunch. Vrije tijd in het park van Tikal. Transfer van het park naar uw hotel in Flores, Peten.

Transfer naar Yaxhá, een voormalig ceremoniële centrum en stad van de Pre-Columbiaanse Maya-beschaving. De faciliteiten hebben bewijs van de invloed van Teotihuacan in hun architectuur en stelae. We vinden het enige dubbele piramidecomplex buiten Tikal, ook wel bekend als het Stelae Plaza. Tijd voor de lunch.
