Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek voor 2025/2026

This is the first day of the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek. You arrive to Kathmandu today. We will

assist you to drive you to hotel after welcoming you at the Kathmandu airport arrival hall. We

will have a trip briefing meeting today if your arrival is early in the day. If your arrival is late,

we will meet tomorrow morning for the same.

We check out the hotel here in Kathmandu early in the morning and get ready for a long day

drive to Pokhara. We will drive to the beautiful lake city, 200 km west of Kathmandu, by a

tourist bus. About 7 hours of drive takes us through beautiful countryside atmosphere of Nepal.

Beautiful local towns and villages, wonderful surrounding landscapes and peaceful atmosphere

along the highway that we drive makes the long journey easy. Once we reach Pokhara, we will

have time to explore the lakeside after checking into hotel. We spend relaxing time in Pokhara

for the day.

We are on the first day of the trekking part of our adventure journey. But before we start

trekking, we have to drive about 1.5 hours to Nayapul. Our destination for the day is

Tikhedhunga where we reach after about five hours of easy trekking. The trek goes past

Birethanti to check into Annapurna Conservation Area and advances further towards

Tikedhunga. This small settlement of teahouses lies at the bottom of a green hill and projects

peaceful atmosphere.

We will be introduced with the real mountain trekking in Nepal on the very first part of the day

today. On our trek to Ghorepani today, we start with a steep steps climb of about two hours to

Ulleri village. From Ulleri onwards, the trail gets easier but still ascending through beautiful

forest area. This section of the trail offers an experience of peaceful nature walk.

When we reach Ghorepani to stay overnight, we will be welcomed by a wonderful view of the

Himalayas if the weather is clear. We spend relaxing time at Ghorepani after checking into a

teahouse.

Our day starts really early in the morning today. We wake up before the break of dawn and start

hiking towards Poon Hill viewpoint. About forty five minutes of uphill walk through

rhododendron forest takes us to Poon Hill for a spectacular view of the mountains in Annapurna

and Dhaulagiri range. We will enjoy a beautiful sunrise over the mountains as well before

heading back to Ghorepani for breakfast and then trek to Tadapani.

The walk to Tadapani is a beautiful nature walk of about five hours. Tadapani brings a close up

view of mountain peaks.

The walk from Tadapani to Ghandruk is a short and easy walk of about 4 through beautiful

nature. We will have enough time to explore the cultural beauty of Ghandruk once we reach

there. Ghandruk village offers a rich ethnic culture of the Gurung people in addition to the

beautiful view of the mountains.

We wake up for another beautiful Himalayan view and prepare for the last day of our trekking

adventure. It’s an easy walk down to Syauli Bazar where we will get a vehicle to drive us back to

Pokhara. Once we are in Pokhara, after a few day of trekking adventure in the mountains, we

will spend relaxing time around Lakeside.

Another seven hours of drive takes us back to Kathmandu today. There is a flight option at an

extra cost. Once back in Kathmandu, we will have free time to relax and wander around.

We are on the last day of the trip. We will drive you to airport for your departure flight. Get

ready at your hotel three hours prior to your flight time.
