This trip not only gives you an opportunity to be a part of eagle hunting but also horse riding through a scenic landscape and ancient petroglyphs and deer stone is an another gem of the tour. The petroglyph image is engraved, scratched, gouged or pecked into the surface of bedrock or boulders dating back 12,000 years. Several sites are in the Mongolian Altai UNESCO World Heritage. Petroglyphs are represented by single images or by compositions of two or more images up to several hundred motifs. Turkic Standing Stones are unique stone artifacts made by the ancient Blue Turks and others made between 2000BC to right before the Mongolian Empire. These standing stones are carved to look like a man and can be over 5 or 6 ft tall. Other standing stones have images of deer that appear to be flying, made by Turks or possibly Tuvans. Throughout trip the petroglyphs and standing stones will be found quite often.
