Delhi Agra Jaipur 3 N 4 Dagen luxe rondreis

Day 01: Arrive Delhi & Sightseeing.

Arrival on International airport/ railway station, Transfer to hotel,  if you are staying in hotel then pick up you from selected point, and proceed for city tour of Delhi visiting important touristic sites of Old and New Delhi. Visit the Qutab Minar 12th century tower one of the tallest towers of its time, it consists of a rectanglar courtyarde enclosed by cloisters, erected with the carved columns and architectural members of 27 Hindu and Jaina temples, which were demolished by Qutub-ud-Din Aibak as recorded in his inscription on the main entrance. Wander around the complex visiting ruins of Hindu temples and palaces which remained here,  after that heading to India Gate the war memorial and other government buildings stopping at President House, Lord wellesley who is reputed to have said that India should be governed from a palace, not a country house, ordered the constrution of a grand mansion between 1799 and 1803 and in 1854 the Lieutenant Governor of bengal took up residence there.

In Old Delhi drive to Jama Masjid one of largest mosque in India. it was built by the Mughal Emprore shah jahan bwtween 1650  and 1656 at a cost of one million repees and was inaugurated by imam Syed Ghafoor shah Bukhari from Bukhara. Then you can take a rickshaw ride in the narrow alleyways of Chandni Chowk and amazing mixture of history with modern world and visit Raj Ghat cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi- “Father of the Nation”.  Overnight at hotel in New Delhi.

Day 02:- Delhi - Agra 4 hours drive 240 KM,

Have the breakfast in hotel and proceed for Agra by express way After reaching the city meet our knowledgeabe and informative tour guide who will accompany throughout the Agra sightseeing, before you will have the buffet lunch and after proceed for Red fort.

Red fort Founded by Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, four mighty Mughal rulers used to control their vast empire from here and added some gorgeous palaces in it, Wander around the palaces built by successive emperors Jahangiri ( called jahangir palace ), Mahal, Khass mahal,  It was built by Emprore Shah jahan who was very much fond of mosaic work that"s why he decorated this palace by inlay art as done in the Tajmahal, Diwan-i-Khass, Diwan-i-Am, had been a royal court in those day, Machchhi Bhawan and Moti Masjid etc. that represents the excellence of Mughal architecture. Fort also serves as a vantage point to view Taj Mahal and it is believed that emperor Shahanjan spent his last days in exile watching the Taj Mahal from here. and passed away, after the fort tour you will visit the Tajmahal.

Taj Mahal (World Heritage UNESCO Site) -This most beautiful monument was built during 1631 by  emperor ShahJahan in memory of his wife Mumtaj Mahal after her death, It is said that Taj Mahal is not a monument that can be described in words – one has to see it and feel the emperor's emotion. You can stay on to view the monument in the soft light of the sunsat, with its day is almost finished so take you to hotel, Overnight stay in Agra.

Dag 03: Agra - Jaipur (265 km 05 uur rijden)

Ontbijt in het hotel en vertrek uit Agra per vliegtuig naar Jaipur, waar je onderweg stopt voor een bezoek aan Fatehpur Sikri - Op slechts 44 km van Agra, op weg naar Jaipur, ligt Fatehpur Sikri, dat in de oude tijd kortstondig diende als hoofdstad van keizer Akbar. Men gelooft dat de stad werd verlaten wegens gebrek aan drinkbaar water en vervolgens naar Agra werd verplaatst en uitgeroepen tot hoofdstad van het Muchal-rijk. Hier kun je de paleizen, vergaderzalen en binnenplaatsen bezoeken die in een opmerkelijke staat van bewaring verkeren. Het heiligdom van de heilige Salim Chisti is een belangrijk bedevaartsoord voor moslims en de Buland Darwaza die keizer Akbar liet bouwen om zijn overwinning op Gujarat te herdenken is zeer indrukwekkend. Voordat je Jaipur bereikt, stop je bij het dorp Awaneri waar je de ongelooflijke trap goed kunt zien.
Ga dan op weg naar Jaipur en zet je hotel af nadat je de stad hebt bereikt om te overnachten in een hotel in Jaipur.

Dag 04 :- Bezienswaardigheden & verder naar Delhi ( 270 KM, 6 uur )

Na het ontbijt in het hotel ga je verder voor een excursie, bezoek City Palace - de officiële residentie van de huidige koninklijke familie. Het paleis beslaat een groot gebied dat is verdeeld in een reeks binnenplaatsen, tuinen en gebouwen. Een deel van dit paleis is nu omgebouwd tot een museum met wapens, textiel en artefacten. City Palace is een prachtige mix van Mughal en traditionele Rajasthani architectuur. Bezoek daarna de Hawa mahal en het Amber Fort. Amber Fort was de oude hoofdstad van de Kachhawaha Rajput heersers van Jaipur, Amber bewaakte een van de belangrijkste verdedigingswerken tegen binnenvallende vijanden. Dwaal in het Fort om extravagante paleizen te zien die getuigen van de weelde van de koninklijke levensstijl van de Rajputs, waaronder het zomerpaleis, winterpaleis en spiegelpaleis. Je sightseeing is voorbij en je gaat verder naar Delhi, waar je wordt afgezet op de luchthaven of als je zelf een gewenste plaats hebt, kun je daarvandaan je eigen route uitstippelen.

Opmerking :- Als de gids je tijdens de sightseeing vraagt om lokale kunstnijverheid te bekijken die een specialiteit van de stad is, hoef je dat niet te doen.

stad, hoef je je geen zorgen te maken, als je geïnteresseerd bent, kun je het zien, anders ontken je gewoon op een eenvoudige manier, dat is het, neem het anders niet.
