De Annapurna Circuit Trek is een populaire klassieke trekkingroute onder trekkers over de hele wereld. Het staat ook bekend als de Ronde Annapurna Trek. Het is een avontuurlijke tocht van 160-230 km rond het majestueuze Annapurna massief. Annapurna ligt in het noord-centrale deel van Nepal. Het wordt beschouwd als de beste langeafstandstrekking ter wereld. Deze route is sinds de jaren 1980 opengesteld voor buitenlandse reizigers. De trektocht begint op lage hoogte en bereikt een hoogte van 5.416 meter bij de Thorang La pas. Thorong La is de hoogste en meest uitdagende pas van de trektocht. Deze schitterende pas is een van de beste punten op aarde om de sublieme schoonheid van de machtige Himalaya te aanschouwen. De trektocht doorkruist twee verschillende rivierdalen die het Annapurna gebergte omringen. De Annapurna Circuit Trek begint bij Beshisahar in de Marshyangdi riviervallei en eindigt in de Kali Gandaki kloof. Dit is de diepste kloof ter wereld. Het pad loopt langs rijstvelden, subtropische bossen, verbazingwekkende watervallen, enorme kliffen en verschillende dorpen. Afhankelijk van de snelheid van de trekkers, de lengte van de uitstapjes en de rustdagen die worden genomen, duurt het meestal 14 om de tocht te voltooien. After you take some rest, our guide will give you a short briefing about Annapurna circuit trekking routes and safety. Then you can freshen up and have a short walk around Thamel. A new day and the beginning of our journey. After you have your breakfast, we will pick you up for the ride to Syange. A drive to Syange is of about 8 to 9 hours, but this will not feel long and hectic as you can enjoy the distinctive landscapes of Nepal followed by green hills, rivers, terraced farmings, and eventually the peaks smiling at you. Overnight at Syange.

With the sun hitting on your face, we will be heading to Dharapani. From today we will be walking, and it will take probably 7 to 8 hours till we reach Dharapani. You will have to cross a bridge and then we are into the Manang district. Keeping your legs busy, you will pass through rice and potatoes fields, again witnessing the landscapes and enjoying the waterfall. Moving on we will be through Kodo village and then finally you reach Dharapani. Overnight at Dharapani.

Continuing our journey, today we have to walk through steep ridges sheltered by green woods and some landslides too. You have to keep your mind on the trail for safety and eyes to the horizon to enjoy the beautiful sparkling peaks. Those peaks include Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II and Annapurna IV (7525m). Heading to Chame, you can even relax at some hot springs. Overnight at Chame.

The initial trekking today goes through valley needing full caution as it is narrow and steep. On the way, you can see a curved rock rising up to the 1500m at Paungda Danda. Raising your eyes up, and then you will be witnessing the snowy peaks of Annapurna II and Pisang peak. Overnight at Pisang.

Manang is a dream destination to mark footsteps for any local and international visitors. We walk for about 7 hours and we will be at Manang. Going through Upper Pisang, our journey begins. The route will reward you will an excellent glimpse of Mt. Annapurna, Pisang Peak with some others on the list. We can end up our trek with a short visit to Barge Monastery (biggest in Manang district). Overnight at Manang. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Not being harsh to our legs, today we will rest at Manang and have some roaming around and short hiking. We can hike either to Bonjo Gumba or Gangapurna Lake. Expanding the list, we can even hike up to Vraga village and visit Himalayan Rescue Association, where you can have some tips about Acute Mountain Sickness and get precaution tips. Overnight at Manang.

Still ascending to a higher height, we will today cross a village of Tenki and pass Marshyangdi Valley northwestern of Jharsang Khola. The trail passes through a small stream, juniper trees and a small Ghunsa Village and meadows where horses and yaks graze. Moving on we will be crossing a river and pass through a Mani, and eventually reach Yak Kharka. Overnight at Yak kharka.

Wake up, have your breakfast and then we will still ascend upwards to Thorang Phedi. On the way, we cross a suspension bridge to reach Lather Village. Going forward, we pass through cliffs and reach Thorang Phedi. Enjoying the views of Mt. Gundang, Mt. Syagang, Thorung Peak and Mt. Khatungkan, we will reach Thorang Phedi. Overnight at Thorang Phedi.

Name it challenge or chance, we will today pass through the highest elevation of the trek- Lhorang La Pass striking the height of 5,416 m. Heading to the Western side, our real challenge is waiting for us. The walkthrough Lhorang La pass is never easy, but once you conquer the height you will really feel proud and blessed of yourself even to choose this difficulty. Enjoy the view, take some photos, live the moment and then we will set off to Muktinath. Overnight at Muktinath.

Last day under these beautiful mountains, we will today walk down to Jomsom. A 5 hours walk will pass alongside Gandaki River to reach Jomsom. Jomsom is a strongly windy town offering you the views of Tilicho Mountain and beautiful wet hills. Overnight at lodge.

After our breakfast, we go to the airport to catch a flight to Pokhara. (Flight will be depending on weather) or we can also take a local bus/ private van to reach Pokhara from Jomsom.

After our breakfast, we take a tourist bus drive to Kathmandu or there is an option for the flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu and it will charge extra.

Today is your departure day, we will drop you to the International airport to catch your flight back to your home and pray for your Safe journey.

Cancellation Charges
Whether it is a long trek or a short trek, you need tents, hotel accommodation, cooking utensils, guide, porters, trek permits, ground transportation, and air-ticket. Glorious Himalaya books these essentials in advance, as well as pay for them. Now, what will happen if you cancel your trek prior before 30 days? In such a case, Glorious Himalaya will levy 35% as a cancellation charge.
If you cancel your trip, prior to 2-29 days, 50% is levied. A cancellation charge of 85% is levied if you cancel the trip on the departure day. A cancellation charge of 100% is levied if you discontinue the trip journey due to the personal reason.
Risk
Glorious Himalaya will not be responsible either for the loss of your personal belongings or for the damage of these belongings nor is responsible for the event that is beyond its control, such as natural disaster and strike. But it tells you to take a precaution and takes care of you throughout the trip. “Our mutual understanding and co-operation is necessary to avoid the unpleasant situation”.
Passport and Visa
All the clients of Glorious Himalaya must have passports with a validity of 6 months. Nepalese visas can be obtained from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or upon arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal.
