Itinéraire

Le trek de 15 jours de Gokyo et de l'Everest dans l'Himalaya au Népal est un voyage inoubliable à travers un pays d'une beauté naturelle stupéfiante et d'une culture riche. Day 1

Arrivée à Katmandou (1 400 mètres)

The flight into Nepal is breathtaking with views of mountains and lush hills. Once you arrive at Kathmandu International Airport and are done with your immigration formalities, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative will drive you to your hotel. After a brief rest head out to explore the wonders of Kathmandu Valley. Later in the afternoon join in for a brief orientation regarding the trek followed by a welcome dinner.

Day 2

Vol jusqu'à Lukla (2 860 mètres), trekking jusqu'à Phakding (2 610 mètres). Durée du trekking : 4-5 heures.

Catch an early morning exciting flight from Kathmandu Airport to Lukla witnessing views of mountain giants. Lukla, a picturesque mountaintop Sherpa settlement is the starting point of your trek.


From Lukla head towards to Phakding, descend towards the Dudh Koshi River passing through various settlements of Chheplung, Ghat, Sano and Thulo Gumela and Chorten and monasteries of Drangdrak Gompa and Pema Choling Gompa with breathtaking views of sacred mountain peaks of Kumbila and sister summit Kusum Kanguru.


Phakding nestled at an elevation of 2,610 meters and is a small Sherpa settlement hidden in the heart of the Dudh Koshi Valley.

Day 3

De Phakding (2 610 mètres) à Namche (3 440 mètres). Durée du trekking : 5-6 heures.

Today you will be heading to Namche Bazar known as the "Sherpa capital”. The trail passes the Dudh Koshi, a milky glacial river up to Monjo crossing a number of suspension bridges and the iconic Hillary Suspension Bridge.


After a brief rest, head towards Namche Bazaar on an uphill trail on a steep path to an amazing high bridge over the Dudh Koshi River gorge, and just before this bridge, the Dudh Koshi is met by its tributary, the Bhote Koshi. As you gain altitude, you’ll catch your first glimpse of Mount Everest peering over the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge, from here Namche is a short hike away.

Day 4

Acclimatation à Namche (3 440 mètres)

Today is your day for acclimatization, as you ascend higher, your body must acclimate to the thinner air at greater elevations. The village has various vantage points perfect for an acclimatization hike.


Head towards any vantage point before dawn and witness mesmerizing views of the sunrise over the Himalayas. The rays of the sun change the snowy white peak into various colors. Bask in the views of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde, Lhotse, and other mountain peaks.


After lunch head towards Thami a village located above the Bhote Khola River Valley. Traversing through the lush woodlands of the Sagarmatha National Park you will reach the national park headquarters above the village. From here witness panoramic views of the Mahalangur range and the mighty Everest. Explore the national park headquarters and learn about the Sherpa lifestyle, culture, and biodiversity of the region. After exploring the region head back towards Namche, and along the way witness the grand views of dusk.

Day 5

De Namche (3 440 mètres) à Dole (3 680 mètres). Durée du trekking : 5-6 heures.

After breakfast start the trek following a steep ascent out of the Namche. As you progress on the trial cross the deep wilderness of rhododendron, juniper, and large conifer forest. Along this section keep an eye out as you may witness the unique bio-diversity of the region. Next, progressing out of the woodland reach the wide alpine grassland of Yak Kharka.


There after following the gentle section witness grand views of Khumbu La Pass and Taboche. Crossing several villages eventually reach Dole.

Day 6

De Dole (3 680 mètres) à Gokyo (4 790 mètres). Durée du trekking : 5-6 heures.

Wake up early and enjoy the majestic views of sunrise. After breakfast start the adventure towards Gokyo. Following the high routes head out of Dole and reach the village of Machhermo.


Next traversing across high alpine grounds follow, small Strems and rivers emerging from the Ngozumba glacier. Along this section also witness grand views of Cholatse and Cho Oyu peaks. As you progress on follow a steep rocky incline and reach Gokyo. For the next 2 days, you will be exploring the wonders of Gokyo.

Day 7

Randonnée jusqu'à Gokyo Ri (5 483 mètres) et trekking jusqu'à Thangnak (4 500 mètres). Durée du trekking : 6-7 heures.

Gokyo Ri is the highlight of the Gokyo Valley Trek and is an epic vantage point for the mountain views. Following an uphill section will lead you to the summit of Gokyo Ri, start by traversing across the stream on the northern end of the village and ascending for a couple of hours and you will reach the summit marked by a cradle of prayer flags. The climb is non-technical, but the altitude may be a problem for some, so take it slow and have frequent rest.


From the summit, witness splendid panoramic views of Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cholatse, and Taboche, with the Ngozumpa Glacier cutting across in front like a massive tear in the landscape. Catch the views of a series of emerald, green lakes. After exploring the Ri and soaking in the majestic views retrace your steps back towards the village.


Next, after a brief refreshment break head towards Thangnak. The trek takes you following the downhill routes across flat terrain of brown and grey shades.


Upon reaching Thangnak relax and rest enjoying the grand views around.

Day 8

De Thangnak (4 500 mètres) à Dzongla (4 830 mètres) en passant par le col de Chola (5 368 mètres). Durée du trekking : 6-9 heures.

Wake up before dawn and after breakfast start the trek. As you will be crossing a high pass its very crucial to start early as the weather may deteriorate as the day goes on. Following the ascending route head towards the Pass. The climb is non-technical but take it slow and have frequent rest.


From the summit of the pass witness grand views of Chola Lake, Mt. AmaDablam and other various peaks, glaciers, moraines, and lakes. After spending a brief time at the pass following the downhill trails reach the village of Dzongla.

Day 9

De Dzongla (4 830 mètres) à Lobuche (4 910 mètres). Durée du trekking : 4-5 heures.

After breakfast start the trek following across moraine and descending alongside Chola Lake. From this section witness stunning views of the mountains and wide valley. Progressing on the valley soaking in the views of glaciers, high passes moraine, and rings of mountains eventually reach Lobuche.


Upon reaching Lobuche relax and rest in the high alpine meadows soaking in the views.

Day 10

De Lobuche (4 910 mètres) au camp de base de l'Everest (5 365 mètres) et à Gorak Shep (5 180 mètres). Durée du trekking : 6-7 heures.

Start the trek following the high trails out of Lobuche. Along the trail, witness views of several towering peaks, including Everest, Nuptse, and other enormous peaks. Following the moraine arrives at Gorakshep, one on the world’s most isolated and highest settlements.


After a brief rest at Gorak Shep leave your heavy backpacks head towards Everest Base Camp. Traversing along the turquoise water of Gorak Shep Lake with views of Changtse Peak in Tibet and the Lho La depression. Crossing glaciers, icefalls, frozen pools of meltwater, exposed icy walls, and large boulders finally reach the Everest Base Camp.


After basking in the foothills of the world’s highest peak retrace your steps back to Gorak Shep.

Day 11

Randonnée jusqu'à Kala Patthar (5 555 mètres) et trekking jusqu'à Pheriche (4 300 mètres). Durée du trekking : 6-7 heures.

Today wake up before dawn and head towards the famous vantage point of the Khumbu region, Kala Patthar at an elevation of 5545 meters. Apart from the altitude, the climb is non-technical. Upon reaching the summit basking in the views of Everest, Pumori, Nuptse, Changtse, Ama Dablam, Taweche, Kantega, Lhotse, and even Everest base camp snuggled at the base of the Khumbu Ice Fall. After spending a brief time at the summit retrace your steps back to Gorak Shep.


Upon reaching Gorak Shep and after a brief rest head towards Lobuche, and towards Dughla. From here following a different trail reach Pheriche.

Day 12

De Pheriche (4 300 mètres) à Namche Bazaar (3 440 mètres). Durée du trekking : 6-7 heures.

From Pheriche, descends to Tsuro Wog and cross the rapids of Khumbu Khola. Next cross various settlement of Orsho, Shomare, and upper Pangboche and finally to Tengboche. Tengboche village. Here explore, the largest monastery with views of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku on the backdrop.


From Tengboche, move towards Phunki Tenga and descend to Sanasa and Kyangjuma and then finally to Namche Bazar. Along the trail cross sections of lush woodlands of rhododendron, mixture of confers, oaks with orchid and moss-draped trees and miles of undergrowth. Once you reach Namche Bazar head towards your accommodation and later explore the aera, there are various restaurants and pubs around the area.

Day 13

De Namche Bazar (3 440 mètres) à Lukla (2 800 mètres). Durée du trajet : 6-7 heures.

Today start walking out of Namche Bazaar on a downhill trail along the Dudh Koshi River route. Before arriving to Lukla, cross multiple suspension bridges and pass through several ancient monasteries and settlements. Once you arrive at Lukla rest and later celebrate your last day on the mountains.

Day 14

Lukla (2 800 mètres) à Katmandou (1 400 mètres). Durée du vol : 30 minutes.

After an early morning breakfast, head towards Lukla Airport and fly back to Kathmandu. The picturesque flight from Lukla to Kathmandu seems like a delight, once you arrive at Kathmandu you’ll be driven to your accommodation. The valley has various tourist attractions, head out on a guided tour or explore the city on your own.


Later in the evening join in for a special dinner program to mark the end of your adventure with your guide and our representatives.

Today you’ll be returning back to your country. The Alpine Club of Himalayas representative will drop you at the airport three hours before your flight departs. If you prefer to stay longer, you can consult us for short tours such as game drives at National parks, rafting, mountain biking, Tibet, India, or Bhutan tours, etc.

Alpine Club of Himalaya is a trusted trekking and tour operator in Nepal (Registration No: 66893/066/067) dedicated to providing exceptional travel experiences. Our goal is to ensure your satisfaction with our travel and adventure services. Please review the following terms and conditions for booking with us.

General Booking Conditions

Deposit Policy

­ 

For trips to Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan, a photocopy of your passport and a 35% deposit of the total trip cost are required to confirm your booking.

This 35% deposit is non-refundable and is used to secure hotel reservations, transportation, trekking permits, and other advance arrangements.

The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival in Kathmandu, prior to the commencement of the tour.

Booking a Trip

­ 

* A 'trip' encompasses any itinerary or activities, including trekking, tours, expeditions, and other adventure programs that you purchase from us.

* The contract between Alpine Club of Himalaya Pvt. Ltd. and the client is established only when we send a confirmation invoice or email to the customer.

* We reserve the right to adjust the prices of trips or tours before the booking is confirmed and the contract is finalized.

Alpine Club of Himalaya   Pvt. Ltd. will not be responsible for any warranties, collateral agreements, prior agreements, or descriptions of services or conditions beyond those explicitly stated in this agreement.

Cancellation Policy

­ 

If you need to cancel your booking with the Alpine Club of Himalaya, please provide us with written notice. We will confirm the receipt of your cancellation request. The amount you will be charged for canceling will depend on how close to the departure date you make your request:

­ •⁠  ⁠60 days or more before departure:

A non-refundable cancellation fee of 35% of the total tour cost will apply.

•⁠  ⁠45 to 59 days before departure:

40% of the total tour cost will be charged.

•⁠  ⁠30 to 44 days before departure:

50% of the total tour cost will be charged.

•⁠  ⁠15 to 29 days before departure:

70% of the total tour cost will be charged.

•⁠  ⁠7 to 14 days before departure:

85% of the total tour cost will be charged.

•⁠  ⁠Less than 7 days before departure:

100% of the total tour cost will be charged.

Please note, no refunds will be provided if you voluntarily drop out once the trip has begun or if you do not use any pre-paid services such as accommodation, transportation, or meals.

Cancellation by Alpine Club Of Himalaya  Pvt. Ltd.

­ 

Alpine Club of Himalaya   Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to cancel any trip, including those guaranteed to operate, before departure due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, flight cancellations, strikes, industrial action, wars, riots, illness, quarantine, government restrictions, adverse weather, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, we will provide a refund of the trip price only. If a guaranteed trip is canceled, you will have the option to either receive a full refund or choose an alternative trip of equal value.

Significant alterations do not include changes to airline carriers, flight schedules, or itineraries, as long as departure and arrival dates remain the same. Changes in cabin category or hotel accommodation will be within the same category.

Please be aware that Alpine Club of Himalaya   Pvt. Ltd. is not liable for any incidental expenses or consequential losses incurred by the client as a result of the booking. This includes costs such as visa fees, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail fares, parking fees, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment.

Additionally, no refunds will be given if you choose to withdraw from the trip after it has commenced, or if you do not utilize any pre-paid services, including accommodation, transportation, or meals.

Last-Minute Booking

­ 

Last-minute bookings for Nepal trips are accepted up to one day before departure. Full payment is required immediately. Last-minute bookings for Bhutan and Tibet trips are not accepted.

Trip Postponement

­ 

If you need to postpone your trip, notify us in writing with your new departure date. We will transfer your reservations to the new date at no additional cost, unless there are changes in rates for the new date.

Medical Conditions and Special Requirements

­ 

If you have any medical conditions or special requirements, please inform Alpine Club of Himalaya   Pvt. Ltd. at the time of booking. This includes physical disabilities or any other conditions that may affect your ability to travel. Failure to disclose such conditions may lead to refusal of travel and potential forfeiture of your deposit or even the full trip cost.

Certain trips may not be suitable for clients based on age, physical conditions (such as mobility issues or pregnancy), or mental health. It is your responsibility to verify suitability before booking. Alpine Club of Himalaya    Pvt. Ltd. will not provide special accommodations unless explicitly agreed upon in writing. We will make every effort to accommodate special requests, including dietary preferences, but such requests are not guaranteed and do not form part of the contractual agreement.

Medical facilities and standards vary by country, and Alpine Club of Himalaya    Pvt. Ltd. makes no representations or warranties regarding the quality of medical treatment available.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is mandatory for all clients. It should cover personal injury, medical expenses, repatriation, helicopter rescue, and other relevant risks. We recommend purchasing insurance from a reputable provider in your country.

Passport and Visa

­ 

Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your return date. Nepalese visas can be obtained at the Nepalese Consulate or on arrival at Kathmandu Airport. Visa costs are the client’s responsibility.

Flight Delays and Changes in Itinerary

­ 

Please be aware that mountain adventures are subject to unpredictable weather conditions. Bad weather in mountainous regions can lead to delays or cancellations of domestic flights. In such cases, Alpine Club of Himalaya Pvt. Ltd. will arrange accommodation (guesthouse) and provide meals (lunch and breakfast) if requested by the client. However, clients are responsible for covering any additional expenses, including those for extra food and accommodation. If you opt for alternative arrangements, such as a helicopter flight to bypass delays, you will be responsible for all associated costs.

Alpine Club of Himalaya Pvt. Ltd. is not liable for missed international flights. We will make every effort to assist with alternative arrangements where possible. Additionally, please note that changes to the itinerary may be necessary due to adverse weather conditions or other factors beyond our control during outdoor activities.

Payments can be made via wire transfer or credit card.

Credit Card Payment

To pay by credit card (Mastercard or Visa), select your trip package, complete the required information on the “BOOK THIS TRIP” form, and pay the specified advance amount. You will receive an invoice and further instructions via email.

Physical Fitness

Good health is essential for a successful Himalayan adventure. Ensure you are physically and mentally prepared to tackle the demands of the trip. We prioritize your well-being and aim to make your journey with us unforgettable and enjoyable.

Guaranteed Departures

­ 

Once your trip is booked, we guarantee departure on the scheduled date, regardless of group size. Even if fewer participants join, we will proceed with the trip as planned. Our team at Alpine Club of Himalaya is committed to adhering to your schedule and ensuring a seamless experience.

Risk and Liability

­ 

We strive to provide exceptional service and a pleasant holiday experience. However, Alpine Club of Himalaya  Pvt. Ltd. and its affiliates are not responsible for itinerary changes due to unforeseen circumstances such as government restrictions, natural disasters, political unrest, flight cancellations, or other events beyond our control. Adventure trips inherently involve risks, and clients accept responsibility for any personal injuries, damages, or additional expenses that may arise.

Cost Adjustments

­ 

Alpine Club of Himalaya Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to adjust prices posted on our website due to unforeseen factors like exchange rate fluctuations or government actions. We strive to keep published prices accurate and offer seasonal discounts to match your budget and schedule.

Injuries and Evacuations

­ 

Our package costs do not include personal insurance. Alpine Club of Himalaya  is not liable for injuries or health issues during the trip. Clients should have their own insurance coverage.

Client Responsibilities

­ 

Our tour/trek leader has full authority during the trip. Any unlawful behavior may result in immediate removal from the tour, with no refund.

Publicity

­ 

We may use photos and videos of clients for promotional purposes on our website, but we respect privacy and will not disclose personal information.

­ 

Personal Belongings

­ 

While we take measures to ensure the safety of your belongings, Alpine Club of Himalaya   is not responsible for lost or damaged luggage or personal items during the trip.

Privacy

­ 

The information collected during the booking process is used solely for arranging permits and organizing your trip. We do not share or use your personal details for any other purposes or disclose them to third parties.

Missed or Unused Services

­ 

No discounts or refunds will be provided for missed or unused services. This includes situations such as voluntary or involuntary departure from the tour due to illness, family emergencies, late arrivals, or early departures, whether voluntary or involuntary.

Updating of Terms and Conditions

Alpine Club Of Himalaya Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to update and amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients are responsible for staying informed about any changes. The most current version of the terms and conditions will be available on our website at www.alpineclubofhimalaya.com and will be applicable in the event of any disputes.
