Itinéraire

LeLangtang Helambu Trek commence à Sundarijal, à une heure de route de Katmandou. Il s'agit d'un trek de 6 jours, idéal pour les aventuriers qui disposent de peu de temps mais qui souhaitent voir plus de l'Himalaya népalais. Pendant le trek, vous aurez des vues magnifiques sur l'Himalaya. Vous rencontrerez le très hospitalier peuple Sherpa qui vit dans la région d'Helambu, et vous apprécierez certainement le magnifique environnement dans lequel vous marchez.

Programme du circuit

Day 1

Jour 1 : Arrivée au Népal.

We meet you on your arrival at the airport, transfer you to your hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2

Jour 2 : Journée libre à Katmandou.

Today you will have a free day. Afternoon meeting your guide and porters, talk about the trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 3

Jour 3 : Route vers Sundarijail et trekking jusqu'à Chisapani (2300m) : 1 heure de route, 4 heures de marche.

After breakfast drive about an hour to sundarijal then trail starts off up concrete steps beside the pipeline which brings drinking water down to the Kathmandu valley. The trail continues to climb but less steeply, through chisopani then drops down to pati vhanjyang at 1770 meters. Chisopani is rather like a grubby little truck stop without trucks but the Mountain View can be seen very fine.

Day 4

Jour 4 : De Chisapani à Kutumsang (2446m) : 7 heures.

The trail rises and falls through chipling at 2170 meters then over 2470 meters pass and down past a large chorten to the village of gul Bhanjyang which is the entry at the Langtang national park. The trail climb again to rich 2620 meters pass before descending along the rocky route to Khutumsang at 2470 meters.

Day 5

Jour 5 : De Kutumsang à Tharepati (2446m) : 7 heures.

The trail follows a ridge line with view of the Langtang and gosaikunda peaks through spossery populated forests to magen Goth with an army check post before finally the therepati pass at 3490 meters. The trail to Gosaikunda branches off north-west from there. From the pass the trail turns east and descends rapidly down a ravine to each the pretty sherpa village of malemchigaon at 2530 meters. You can enjoy a very brightly painted gompa.

Day 6

Jour 6 : De Tharepati à Tarkeghyang (2560m) : 6 heures.

From Malemchigaon the trail continues to drop, crossing the malemchi khola by a bridge at 1890 meters and then making the long climb up the other side of the valley to Tarke gyang at 2743 meters. This is the largest village in Helambu and the prosperous sherpa who live here specialize, amongst other thing in turning out instant antiques for gullible trekkers.

Day 7

Jour 7 : De Tarkeghyang à Sermathang (2 610 m) : 3/4 heures.

From Tarke gyang there is a very pleasant rout on the loop trek the wide and well used trail descends through rhododendron forest and past Buddhist chortens and mani walls to kakani at 2070 meters and thimbu at 1580 meters you have left the sherpa highlanders and entered the warmer lowland areas where rice is grown. Kiul is at a lower altitude then kathmandu.

Day 8

Jour 8 : De Sermathang à Memalchi Pul. 3/4 heures de marche/ 3 heures de route pour retourner à Katmandou.

The trail descends along a river crossing it on the second suspension bridge at just 1190 meters then joining a road way at Mahenkal and following it to taramarrang at 940 meters. Here the trail leaves the road and climbs steeply to battache and then Thakani on the ridge top at 4800 meters. From here the trail follows the ridge to pati Bhanjyang where the helambu circuit completed.

Day 9

Jour 9 : Départ du Népal.

In the morning, you will be free. Afternoon we will drop you to the Kathmandu International Airport for the departure flight to home.

Cancellation Policy:
If you wish to cancel your trip for any reason, Getaway Nepal Adventure will fully refund all the deposits if a cancellation letter is received by our staff by email (or other means) 60 days prior to the arranged trip starting date. Failure to notice before 60 days will not be entertained by the company and may result in forfeiture of deposit.

Do not take any responsibility for changes made due to any natural calamities, war or changes due to the political or social condition of the country. Getaway Nepal Adventure reserves right to adjust prearranged schedules if required. Our company may offer alternative trips of a similar nature at no additional cost to our customers.

Amendment to Tour Cost:
Getaway Nepal Adventure reserve right to amend tour cost at any point of time if required. A prior notification shall be made in such case. The price may be amended sometimes due to unfortunate events like weather conditions, political changes etc.
