Lorsque Eduard Koblmiller a posé le pied dans la vallée lors de son expédition réussie sur le K6 en 1970, il l'a décrite comme un lieu d'une "beauté inhabituelle et primordiale". La vallée de Nangma ressemble à une peinture impressionniste, faite de contrastes de couleurs extrêmes et de lignes abstraites qui pointent vers le ciel avec une verticalité étonnante. La beauté de la vallée est presque touchante et, contrairement à d'autres endroits beaucoup plus célèbres, les camps de base ne sont qu'à une journée de marche intense de la route.
Depuis les minuscules établissements saisonniers des hautes vallées, qui témoignent de la fascinante culture balti, jusqu'à la traversée du Thallay La aux sommets enneigés, le trekking est facile et aventureux. Ce trek facile et aventureux relie les deux royaumes sur le toit du monde, c'est-à-dire Khaplu et Shigar. Le voyage est remarquablement varié en termes de paysage naturel, allant des sables de la vallée de l'Indus, en passant par la basse vallée "alpine", jusqu'aux hautes neiges des sommets spectaculaires entourant le Thallay La.
Cette aventure combine les deux magnifiques treks de la vallée de Nangma et du Thallay La en un séjour de trekking inoubliable, avec de nombreuses opportunités d'expériences en milieu sauvage, d'activités, d'échanges culturels et d'expériences authentiques.

Skardu to Khaplu: Drive to Khaplu, passing through small villages of Ghanche district to reach; en route, we will have short stops at the meeting point of Shayok & Indus Rivers, Thorgo Pari and visit Yugo. Enjoy traditional lunch at Yugo and a cultural walk in the streets of Yugo to witness village life and meet locals. Later in the late afternoon, we drive to Khaplu and check into the hotel with leisure time to visit the Khaplu fort museum and organic garden.

Beyond the Valley reserves the right to cancel any trip because of any reasons including but not limited to inadequate signups, loss of staff due to illness or injury, significant loss/damage to the inventory. If BTV cancels a trip, a refund of total amount will be paid including the deposit.
If a trip is cancelled due to reasons beyond control of BTV including but not limited to natural disasters, civil unrest, land closure, health emergencies, a full refund including the deposit will be paid.

Pendant les vacances, le groupe passera trois nuits à Islamabad dans un hôtel d'excellente qualité. Le groupe passera également deux nuits dans un hôtel de classe touristique à Skardu et deux nuits à Khaplu. L'hébergement dans chacun de ces hôtels se fait en chambre double avec salle de bain. Pendant le trek, sept nuits seront passées à camper dans une tente alpine confortable pour deux personnes. Si vous voyagez seul, vous serez jumelé avec un autre client du même sexe. Il est possible de louer une tente individuelle pendant le trek, moyennant un supplément. Des nuits d'hôtel supplémentaires à Islamabad sont également disponibles. En cas d'annulation du vol, le groupe sera hébergé dans un hôtel de classe touristique (la meilleure option disponible) en cours de route. L'aéroport de Skardu dépend des conditions météorologiques. Comme de hautes montagnes entourent la vallée, les avions n'y atterrissent que lorsque la visibilité est bonne.
