Itinéraire

Notre trek de la vallée du Langtang et du lac Gosainkunda est un trekking de 14 jours modérément éprouvant qui nous emmène à travers les merveilles naturelles vierges au cœur de la vallée du Langtang jusqu'au précieux lac de glacier de Gosainkunda. Le trek de la vallée du Langtang et du lac Gosainkunda suit un itinéraire isolé et caché qui traverse une région peu peuplée.


Notre trek de la vallée du Langtang et du lac Gosainkunda commence dans l'exquise ville de Syabrubesi et se poursuit dans la vallée du Langtang, à travers les forêts de rhododendrons et de conifères du parc national du Langtang, les pâturages alpins, les hauts cols, les glaciers et les moraines. Enfin, nous atteignons le lac Gosainkunda, point culminant de notre randonnée. Le trek persévère en passant par le col Lauribinayak jusqu'à Sundarijal, marquant la fin du trek Langtang Valley/Gosaikunda/Helambu.


Une cérémonie est organisée au lac Gosainkunda à chaque pleine lune de Bhadra (qui coïncide avec le mois d'août anglais), au cours de laquelle la foi religieuse envers le lac hypnotise les chamans, les bouddhistes et les hindous pour qu'ils tombent sur ce lac. Les pèlerins viennent de tout le Népal et de l'Inde pour participer à cette célébration rituelle. Le trek de la vallée du Langtang et du lac Gosaikunda a une foule de choses à offrir et vous fait vivre l'expérience magique d'une vue à 360 degrés sur les sommets de l'Himalaya, en visitant la région où se trouvent 108 lacs, dont le plus vénéré, le lac Gosainkunda, où le Seigneur Shiva lui-même est censé résider. Le parcours se poursuit en traversant des villages Tamang et Sherpa. Le Langtang Gosainkunda Trek peut donc être considéré comme un amalgame de fascinations naturelles et culturelles.

Programme du circuit

Day 1

Arrivée à Katmandou ( 1400 M.)

Representatives of ‘Adventure Himalayan Travels’ will pick you up from Tribhuvan International Airport of Kathmandu and take you to our Hotel where you will be shortly notified about your daily itinerary. Dinner will be served in the late evening.

Day 2

Départ de Katmandou pour Syabrubesi en bus local ( 1600 M)

The road winds through a series of twists and turns persistently for about 8 to 9 hours to cover 117km, ending in Syabrubesi.  We will find a lodge for us to spend the first night.

Day 3

syabrubesi à sherpa goau ( 2300 M.)

It  takes about five and half hours of walking. The first part of the trail crosses through Bhote Koshi and follows the Langtang Khola. This trail is gradually ascent up to Bamboo passing through Landslide. Afterwards, you trek ascends gently to Rimche (2400m.) through Bamboo (1960m.) which lies at the bank of Langtang Khola. You can have lunch at this place if you like. And at the end your trail is level to the Lama Hotel. En route you could see red pandas, monkey and bear if you are lucky

Day 4

sherpa Goau jusqu'au village de Thangshep ( 3200 M.)

After Lama hotel you will climb through a Rhododendron forest . the ground covered by moss. Trees have ferns and epiphytic orchids on them. It looks like semi tropical jungle.

As you continue climbing there are occasional glimpses of Langtang Lirung between the trees. At Ghora Tabela [3000m], the trail emerges from the forest. Once there was a Tibetan resettlement project here, but now it is a Nepalese army post though it has no permanent inhabitants. The trail continues to climb gently and the valley widens, passing a few temporary settlements used by herders who bring their livestock to graze in the high pastures during the summer months. There is a monastery, which you can visit shortly before arriving at the village of Langtang, the headquarters of the Langtang National Park. The houses of Langtang and its neighboring villages are of the flat-roofed Tibetan style, surrounded by stone walls enclosing fields of buckwheat, potatoes, wheat, turnips and barley

Day 5

Du village de Thangshep à Kyangin Gompa ( 3800 M.)

The trail climbs gradually through small villages and yak pastures as the valley opens out further and the views become more extensive. After crossing several small streams and moraines, the trail reaches the settlement at Kyangjin. Here, there is a small monastery and a government-operated cheese factory. You should arrive at Kyangjin by lunch time allowing time to acclimatize and explore the area. It is a dramatic setting, with snow-covered peaks surrounding you in all directions such as Langtang Lirung, Ganjala peak, Tserko- Ri, Langsisa ri and many others.

Day 6

Journée de repos ou excursion à Tsergo Ri ( 5033 M.)

Khayanjing Gompa is the last permanent settlement with a small Gompa and a cheese factory. Use it as a base for day hikes, exploring the upper valley try to climbing the small hill north of Khayanjing or Tsergori(5033m). which lies upvalley from Khayanjing. Upper valley is ringed by spectacular snow peaks including fluted peak Langtang Lirung and the Tibetan named Dorje Lakpa.

Day 7

De Kyangin Gompa à Lama Hotel ( 2560 M.)

There are lots to explore in and around Kyanjin Gompa. We can unravel the glaciers and take a short trek to the Himalayan Yak pastures. Kyanjin Gompa gives the 360 degree views of Langtang Lirung, Genjempol and Kenga Himal ranges. Cheese factory, Buddhist monastery and Tsergo Ri (5033m) are other sites worthy visiting. Later we will travel back to Lama Hotel for night stay.

Day 8

De l'hôtel Lama à Thulo Syabru ( 2260 M.)

Today’s trail pursues the route down through Rimche and Bamboo Lodge, extending further through Paira Lodge and the lively forest to head up to the Langtang Khola. We cross the suspension bridge to reach Thulo Village(2260m). Overnight in Thulo Syabru.

Day 9

De Thulo Syabru à Sing Gompa ( 3250 M.)

The journey on the 9th day begins uphill through schools and gompas before taking us to Dursagang(2660m), and leading us to a ridge at the top of Foprang Danda(3190m). The trail further winds up past Government Agriculture Office to Sing Gompa- a Buddhist monastery located at 3330m. If time permits, we will around Gompa to visit Yak cheese Factory where local cheeses are manufactured.

Day 10

De Sing Gompa au lac Gosainkuda ( 4361 M.)

The trek for 11th day commences by proceeding through the stupa of Sakyamuni which is further along the path and provides a spectacular view of the sparkling water of Saraswati Kunda all the way through Bhairab Kunda, at which point the path ascends uphill to Gosaikunda (4460m).  Overnight at guest house.

Day 11

De Gosainkunda à Sing Gompa ( 3250 M.)

Your return trip from Gosainkunda begins on this day as you will walk down from Gosaikunda to Sing Gompa (3250m) or Chandan Bari (3250m). It will take around four and half hours to complete the hike. The trail descends all the way to Sing Gompa, passing Lauribanayak with magnificent mountain views. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 12

De Sing Gompa à Dhunche ( 2030 M.)

Trek from Sing Gompa to Dhunche on the 12th day takes around six hours. The first part of the trail descends through pine, silver oak and rhododendrons forests with occasional marijuana plants before you cross suspension bridge over the Sing Gompa stream. Now, the path stretches across a flat level and you will reach Dhunche, the district headquarters of Rasuwa, after a while. Overnight stay at a lodge.

Day 13

De Dhunche à Katmandou ( 1400 M.)

On the second to final day, we will drive from Dhunche to Kathmandu by private vehicle. You will have breakfast in the morning at the guest house and begin the wonderful and scenic drive. It takes about five hours to reach the Capital City.  You will be transferred to the Hotel once you reach the Capital. We'll have a celebratory Nepali dinner in the night.



Day 14

Départ
