Arrivée à Rome

Votre aventure italienne commence dans la Ville éternelle. Enregistrez-vous à partir de 15h00, ou déposez vos bagages et commencez à explorer si vous arrivez plus tôt.

À 17h00, vous rencontrerez votre guide et vos compagnons de voyage pour un briefing de bienvenue etune promenade d'orientation en soirée, qui vous permettra de voir le Colisée et le Forum romain briller au coucher du soleil.

Découvrez Rome : Marche d'orientation matinale et exploration du Vatican

Après-midi - Voyage à Florence

En début d'après-midi, vous embarquerez à bord d'un train à grande vitesse pour Florence. À votre arrivée, vous vous installerez dans votre logement et vous vous préparerez à explorer votre nouvel environnement.

Commencez par Pise, où vous aurez le temps d'admirer la célèbre tour penchée, ainsi que la cathédrale et le baptistère sur l'étonnante Piazza dei Miracoli. Prenez la photo parfaite et imprégnez-vous de la beauté de ce site historique.

Continuez vers l'époustouflante côte ligure pour explorer les Cinque Terre, un site classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Visitez des villages tels que Riomaggiore, Vernazza et Manarola, dont les maisons colorées sont perchées de manière spectaculaire sur les falaises. Visitez la célèbre Galerie des Offices pour admirer les chefs-d'œuvre de Botticelli et de Léonard de Vinci, ou émerveillez-vous devant le David de Michel-Angeà la Galerie de l'Accademia. Flânez dans les charmants marchés de Florence, achetez des articles en cuir fabriqués à la main ou profitez simplement d'un après-midi tranquille dans un café avec vue sur le Duomo.

Départ de Florence pour Venise, où vous arriverez en quelques heures en train à grande vitesse. À votre arrivée, vous vous rendrez directement à votre hébergement pour y déposer vos bagages avant d'embarquer pour votre aventure vénitienne.

Après-midi - Promenade d'orientation à Venise

Découvrez les canaux et les ruelles enchanteresses de Venise avec votre guide. Visitez la basilique Saint-Marc, le palais des Doges et l'emblématique pont du Rialto. Découvrez l'histoire, la culture et les traditions de la ville, y compris l'artisanat des masques de carnaval vénitiens.

Aujourd'hui marque la fin de votre incroyable aventure italienne. S'il vous reste un peu de temps à Venise avant votre départ, ne vous précipitez pas : déposez vos bagages à la réception et promenez-vous tranquillement dans les rues captivantes de Venise. Qu'il s'agisse de savourer un dernier expresso au bord des canaux, de visiter une dernière fois un lieu favori ou simplement de s'imprégner de la beauté de la ville, il n'y a pas de meilleure façon de se dire au revoir.

Si vous voulez profiter au maximum de vos dernières heures à Venise, participez à une excursion en bateau facultative pour explorer les îles voisines. Visitez Murano, célèbre pour sa verrerie, Burano, avec ses maisons colorées et sa tradition de la dentelle, et Torcello, qui abrite des trésors historiques et des paysages paisibles. C'est un moyen idéal de prolonger votre aventure vénitienne avant votre départ.

By booking a trip, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions governing the relationship between the client and Italy on a Budget Tours & Authentic Italy Adventures, including the cancellation policy and limitations of liability. All individuals wishing to make a booking must carefully read and fully understand the following Terms and Conditions. By booking with the company or its agents, you accept, on behalf of yourself and all individuals named on the booking (including minors and persons with disabilities), to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

The legal company name is Authentic Italy Adventures srl – Tour Operator – p.iva 07320680486. Our official trademarks are Italy on a Budget Tours, Authentic Italy Adventures, & Tuscany on Wheels. The program complies with the requirements of L.R.T. 16/94 (Tuscan Regional Law). The contract is governed by the provisions of law n° 1084 dated 27/12/77, as ratified and implemented with regard to travel contracts, as well as EEC directive 90/314.

Please note that trips under Authentic Italy Adventures are suitable for adults of all ages, while trips under the Italy on a Budget brand are designed for young people aged 18 to 39. In special circumstances, we may approve bookings outside this age range. We reserve the right to decline a booking request if we believe our trips are not suitable for you.

Bookings and Payments

­ 

Reservations must be made either online, directly through the tour operator, or through agencies both in Italy and abroad.

To secure your spot on any tour, full payment or a deposit (where applicable) is required.

Once the booking is successfully completed, the traveller will receive a confirmation along with the terms and conditions of the tour. Approximately two weeks before the tour departure, additional details will be provided, including the meeting point, time, accommodation information, and other relevant details. If the traveller does not receive an email from the Tour Operator, it is their responsibility to contact the operator and request that the information be resent.

The traveller is responsible for verifying the accuracy of the booking and the travel dates.

For bookings made well in advance, the Tour Operator recommends that travellers contact the agency a few weeks before the departure date to confirm no changes have been made to the meeting point or tour time and that the voucher information is still valid.

An online booking fee applies to all bookings made online, and this fee is non-refundable.

The Tour Operator is not responsible for any credit card transaction fees or conversion rates and will not refund or cover any third-party fees incurred during the payment process.

­ 

Issuance of Vouchers

The Tour Operator or booking agency will issue a voucher to the traveler, which must be shown to the tour guide at the beginning of the tour. Alternatively, an ID with the traveler’s name will be accepted, unless otherwise stated on the voucher. In such cases, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse customers without a printed ticket.

Tickets and all related documents will not be provided until full payment has been received.

­ ­ ­ 

Tours

­ 

Some of Italy on a Budget Tours & Authentic Italy Adventures experiences, where specified, require a minimum number of participants. If the minimum number is not met, the traveller will be notified via email no later than 2 weeks prior to the tour departure, and alternative dates, activities or cancellations will be arranged.

­ 

All services included in our tours are clearly advertised on our website or printed materials. There are no hidden costs.

­ ­ ­ 

Contracting Parties

­ 

The Tour Operator acts as a booking agent and contracts directly with coaches, boats, hostels, hotels, and other service providers. All bookings with carriers and service providers are subject to their own terms and conditions, as well as limitations of liability. It is important to note that some of these limitations exclude liability for death, personal injury, delay, and loss or damage to baggage.

­ 

The Tour Operator cannot accept responsibility for any loss resulting from actions or omissions of third parties.

­ 

Due to the nature of the services provided, The Tour Operator will not be held liable if any service departs or arrives later than the specified time, even if this results in missing a connecting service.

­ 

The Tour Operator cannot be held responsible for delays caused by mechanical failure or other issues outside of our control.

­ ­ ­ 

Passenger Responsibilities

­ 

It is the passenger's responsibility to meet the tour leader or the transportation provided by The Tour Operator at the correct time and location for departure. If a traveler misses a tour or planned departure, any additional travel costs incurred will be at the traveler’s expense.

­ 

Passengers who miss the departure time due to delays or cancellations of incoming transportation are not entitled to a refund. It is their responsibility to check in with the tour leader of The Tour Operator at least 15 minutes before the specified departure time.

­ 

The Tour Operator is not responsible for personal belongings. It is the traveler’s responsibility to look after their own items. The Tour Operator cannot be held liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, regardless of the circumstances.

­ ­ ­ 

Booking Policy

­ 

A non-refundable deposit of 5% of the tour price is required at the time of booking covering tax, vat, gts, etc…

­ 

You may change your tour dates or switch to another tour operated by our company as many times as you wish, free of charge, up to 45 days before departure.

­ 

If your booking is made within 45 days of the scheduled departure date, full payment is required at the time of booking. 

­ 

The remaining balance of the tour price must be paid no later than 45 days before the scheduled, nominated, or confirmed departure date. While we make every effort to send payment reminders, it is your responsibility to ensure full payment is made by the due date. Failure to do so will be considered a cancellation, and the applicable cancellation charges will apply.

­ ­ ­ 

Cancellation Policy

Our short breaks and holiday adventures include multiple services such as accommodation, transportation, guided tours, and assistance. As such, the cancellation terms for these tours differ from those of our day tours.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to The Tour Operator.

­ 

If you need to cancel for any reason, and we receive written confirmation from you or your authorized agent at least 45 days before your confirmed departure date, you will receive a full refund minus a non-refundable initial fee covering tax, vat, gts, etc.

­ 

If you wish to change your tour to one of higher value or a different seasonal rate, any price difference must be paid. Requests for date changes must be submitted in writing.

­ 

In the event of a tour cancellation by The Tour Operator, a full refund will be issued minus the non-refundable initial fee.

­ 

If you cancel within 45 days of departure, the following cancellation fees apply, based on the total tour fare:

­ 

44 – 21 days before departure: 30% of the tour fare

20 – 15 days before departure: 50% of the tour fare

14 – 0 days before departure: 100% of the tour fare

For online bookings, refunds will be processed directly to the original payment method. However, the online platform booking fee is non-refundable.

­ 

No refunds will be provided for unused portions of a ticket or partially completed trips.

­ 

For bookings made directly with The Tour Operator via bank transfer or credit card, an additional 3.5% processing fee will apply to the cancellation charges above.

­ ­ 

Museums, Services, Add-Ons:

Reservations for museums, pre- and post-tour accommodations, transfers, and optional activities are non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason.

­ ­ ­ 

Weather, Environmental Conditions, and National Strikes

­ 

The Tour Operator cannot be held responsible for any delays, deviations, or cancellations caused by weather conditions, traffic, or national strikes, even if they result in missing a connecting service. These events are completely beyond the control of the Tour Operator.

­ 

No tour may be canceled or changed by you based on weather conditions unless the Tour Operator deems the weather an obstacle to the tour. In such cases, you will forfeit the cost of the tour with no refund.

­ 

The Tour Operator reserves the right to cancel tours (including bike tours, horseback riding, boat trips, Vespa tours, tuk-tuk tours, and any other outdoor activities) when weather conditions are deemed unsafe for the clients' safety. In such cases, the Tour Operator will suggest rescheduling the tour for another day or offer to transfer the booking to a different tour of equal value at no extra charge. Alternatively, the Tour Operator will issue a full refund in the form of a voucher for the paid activity, valid for 18 months, or provide a refund minus administration fees.

­ 

If a national strike is announced well in advance and affects the tour itinerary, the Tour Operator will inform clients by email, offering the option to reschedule the tour for a different date or provide a full refund, minus administration fees.

­ 

If a national strike is announced on the day of the tour but before the tour starts and affects the itinerary, the Tour Operator has the right to cancel the tour if alternative solutions cannot be provided. In such cases, the Tour Operator will suggest rescheduling the tour for another day or offer to transfer the booking to a different tour of equal value at no extra charge. Alternatively, the Tour Operator will issue a full refund in the form of a voucher for the paid activity, valid for 18 months, or provide a 50% refund of the tour value.

­ 

If the national strike is announced after the tour has already started, the Tour Operator will refund the unused portion of the tour, including travel fees, any unused meals, or compensation for the missed services.

­ 

In cases of operational reasons or matters not caused by the Tour Operator (e.g., road conditions, strikes, delays, changes in opening times, or other issues), the Tour Operator may modify the tour at any time or replace it with alternative services of the same type and quality. In such cases, there will be no change in the excursion price.

­ 

Force Majeure

A Force Majeure Event refers to any event or circumstance beyond the control of The Tour Operator, including but not limited to: (a) an act of God (such as earthquake, flood, fire, explosion, landslide, lightning, natural disasters, typhoon, hurricane, cyclone, tsunami, storm, or storm warnings); (b) industrial disputes, work bans, or other labor disputes; (c) acts of terrorism, political unrest, war or the threat of war, riots, or civil disturbances; (d) delays or failures in scheduled transportation and the closure of airports or ports; (e) pandemics, epidemics, or health risks; (f) governmental and administrative actions (including border closures, travel warnings, and restrictions), or other causes outside the control of Italy On A Budget Tours & Authentic Italy Adventures, which make it impractical or impossible for The Tour Operator to uphold the conditions, rights, and obligations set out in the terms and conditions, thereby falling under the "Force Majeure" category.

The customer agrees to receive a credit voucher for the amount spent or for the unused service, which can be used for future bookings. This voucher is transferable and can be redeemed for any service offered by The Tour Operator within one year from the issue date.

­ ­ ­ 

Price Modifications

­ 

In the event of a sudden increase in individual prices exceeding 10% (such as new taxes or duties), the excursion prices will be adjusted accordingly. Travellers, hotels, accommodations, and agencies selling our services will be notified in writing.

­ 

Special Offers & Discounts

Special offers and discounts can only be applied at the time of booking and cannot be added retroactively, even if changes are made to the original booking.

­ 

Discounts and special offers cannot be combined. If two or more offers are applicable, only the discount that provides the highest savings will be applied.

­ 

Discount codes and promo codes cannot be used on already discounted tours. If used, the traveller will be asked to pay the difference.

­ 

Insurance

The excursions included in the program are covered by public liability insurance (R.C. insurance) for risks, with indemnity limits as stated in Article 13 of L.R.T. 16/94, provided by ASSICURAZIONI ALLIANZ GLOBAL ASSISTANCE, policy number 78777680. The Tour Operator is not responsible for damages caused by third parties or for reasons beyond its control. The Tour Operator is also not liable for the loss or forgetting of valuable or non-valuable items, or luggage.

Please note that travel insurance is not included in the cost of any tour, package, ticket, or product.

­ 

The Tour Operator strongly recommends purchasing your own travel insurance to cover all aspects of your trip. We advise you to choose a comprehensive insurance policy that includes personal accident, medical expenses, trip interruption, personal baggage, money, public liability, evacuation, and repatriation coverage, including during pandemic events. The choice of insurer is entirely up to you. The Tour Operator cannot be held responsible for your failure to obtain suitable insurance, and we strongly suggest purchasing insurance at or shortly after booking your trip. The Tour Operator will not be liable for any costs incurred by the guest due to inadequate or lack of travel insurance.

Disputes

­ 

Any complaints must be submitted in writing to the Tour Operator at [email protected] within 10 days of the tour date. Complaints or disputes that cannot be resolved amicably between the client and the Tour Operator will be referred to the Court of Florence.

­ 

Photographs and Films

­ 

By booking any of The Tour Operator’s tours, you agree that photographs and films may be taken of you during your participation in the tour. You also consent to the use of these images by the tour operator for marketing purposes, including in brochures, websites, print media, and promotional videos, solely to promote The Tour Operator’s products. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy page.

Copyright

All content on our printed materials and website is protected by copyright. It is therefore prohibited to copy, in part or in full, any texts, images, colors, or tour titles used by the tour operator. Our brands—Italy on a Budget Tours, Authentic Italy Adventures, and Tuscany on Wheels—and their logos are officially registered in Italy. The graphic layout, texts, images, and colors are also protected and cannot be copied in any form.

The contract is subject to the provisions of law n° 1084 dated 27/12/77 as ratified and implemented relative to travel contracts and the EEC directive 90/314.

Please note that the trips under Italy on a Budget brand are designed for young people between the ages of 18 to 39 years something. We may in special circumstances approve persons outside this range. We reserve the sole right to decline a booking request from you should we think our trips are not suited for you.

BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS

­ 

  • Reservations are always required and have to be made either online, through the tour operator directly, at the reception desk of the client’s accommodation, or by agencies both in Italy and abroad.
  • The online booking system of the tour operator is powered by an authorized agent called TrekkSoft. All online credit card payments will appear on the customer’s credit card statement as paid to TrekkSoft, the same as the refund. In the event some cards are not accepted,  the client is required to get in touch with the tour operator directly in order to book.
  • To make a booking and guarantee your seat on any tour, you provide payment in full or a deposit only where it is allowed.
  • If the booking is successfully completed, the client will receive to the email address entered at the moment of the booking, a booking confirmation email containing the tour vouchers with information about the meeting point, time, and tour on it and the terms and conditions of the tour company. If the client hasn’t received any email from the Tour Operator, it is required to get in touch with the tour operator to ask to have them sent again.
  • It is the responsibility of the client to check the accuracy of the booking and the dates of travel.
  • If the booking is made well in advance, the Tour Operator recommends the clients to contact the agency a week before the tour to verify that no changes have been made to the meeting point or time of the tour booked and that the information on the voucher is still valid.
  • An online booking fee is applied to all bookings made online. This fee is not refundable.
  • The Tour Operator is not responsible for any charges applied to credit card transactions or conversion rates and will not refund or return any fees charged by third parties and incurred during the transaction of the tour cost.

ISSUE OF VOUCHERS

The Tour Operator or the booking agency or the accommodation will issue a voucher to the client which must be shown to the tour guide at the beginning of the tour. Alternatively, an ID with the Client’s name on it will be accepted unless it is specified on the voucher the contrary.  In this case, the tour operator is entitled to refuse the customers without a printed ticket.

Tickets and all documents will not be forwarded until full payment has been received by us.

TOURS

Some of Italy on a Budget excursions, where specified, are carried out with a minimum of participants. In the event the minimum number of the tour is not met, the client will always be informed via email not later than 48h prior to the tour for the day tours and 2 weeks prior to the short breaks and adventure holidays in order to organize alternative activities or cancel the tour booked.

All services included in our tours are advertised on our website or printing material. There are no hidden costs.

CONTRACTING PARTIES

The Tour Operator acts as a booking agent and contracts directly with coaches, boats, hostels, hotels, and other service providers. All bookings with carriers and other service providers are subject to their terms and conditions and limitations of liability. It is important to note that some of these limits exclude liability in respect of death, personal injury, delay, and loss or damage to baggage.

The Tour Operator cannot accept any responsibility for any loss as a result of such actions or as a result of any act or omission of any such third parties.

Due to the nature of the services provided, The Tour Operator will not be liable if any service departs or arrives later than the specified time, even if as a result you miss a connecting service.

The Tour Operator may not be held responsible for delays due to mechanical failure, or other issues that may arise and are outside of our control.

PASSENGER RESPONSIBILITIES

It is the passenger’s responsibility to meet the tour leader or transportation provided by The Tour Operator at the correct time and location for departure. In the event you miss a tour or a planned departure, any extra travel costs incurred are paid by the client.

Passengers who miss a departure time due to delay or cancellation of incoming transportation are not entitled to a refund. It is your responsibility to check in with The Tour Operator tour leader 15 minutes prior to the specified departure time.

The Tour Operator may not be held responsible for your personal belongings. It is your responsibility to look after your belongings yourself. The Tour Operator cannot be held responsible for loss, theft, or damage to any of your personal belongings, regardless of the circumstances.

ONLINE DEPOSIT

­ 

MULTI DAY TOURS

­ 

For the multi-day tours, a non-refundable deposit of 100 EUR  per person per tour is required at the moment of the booking. 

You can change the dates, and/or transfer your deposit to any other tours or destinations organized by the tour company, as many times as you like for free up to 45 days before departure.

The deposit is valid for 18 months from the date of your original booking departure. After this period, the deposit will expire and the amount will be forfeited.

If the booking is made within 45 days of the nominated departure date the full amount payable must be made at the time of booking. The outstanding balance of the tour price must be paid no later than 45 days prior to the scheduled, nominated, or confirmed tour departure date or the payment date. Whilst every endeavor will be made to remind you of the payment due dates, it is your responsibility to make this payment in full by the due date. If payment is not made to The Tour Operator or to your authorized Travel Agent (for Agent bookings) by the due date, The Tour Operator will assume that you have canceled your tour, and cancellation charges will be levied by the Operator.

DAY TOURS

­ 

For the day tours, a full amount is requested at the moment of the booking to confirm the reservation.

Any deposit paid directly to third parties ( hotels/hostels/travel agency/tour operators ) on our behalf for day tours is non-refundable. Payment of a deposit enables The Tour Operator to hold a reservation for you. In the event of a cancellation, this will cause the complete loss of any refund paid. The remaining balance is paid directly at the meeting point to our tour leader in either cash or credit card.

CANCELLATION POLICY***/ CHANGE OF BOOKING

­ 

Change of a booking by the client must be made in writing via email.

Cancellations must be always communicated to The Tour Operator in writing.

No refund will be given to those clients who do not show up at the correct departure time and point, or to those who lose contact with the guide and therefore do not complete the excursion.

It is the passenger’s responsibility to get in touch with The Tour Operator if running late to the meeting point or if you can’t find the guide in order to assist you as much as possible. If you miss the tour, no refund will be possible. If the customer wishes to reschedule the same-day tour to a different date, the full amount of the tour must be repaid.

The passenger is always due at the meeting point 15 mins/20mins before the departure

No refunds will be made in respect of any unused portion of a ticket or partially completed trip.

The cancellation policies vary as follows:

­ 

MULTIDAY TOURS:

● The short breaks and the holiday adventures include several services from accommodation, transport, assistance, tours, etc. The cancellation policy for these products is not the same as the day tours.

● Notice of cancellation must be made in writing to The Tour Operator to [email protected].

● If you need to cancel for whatever reason, where written confirmation is received from you or your authorized Agent with a minimum of 45 days notice prior to your confirmed or nominated departure date, your deposit value of 100 EUR is not refundable but will remain secure with the Operator for the next 18 months. One deposit amount can be credited per trip. Deposits cannot be combined or applied to existing bookings.

● Tour changes to one of higher value or seasonality will require a difference in price to be paid. It is your responsibility to notify The Tour Operator in writing of your new nominated departure date.

● Upon cancellation, you will be liable to pay a fee to cover the estimate of cost and expenses incurred by us in the terms of the schedule set out hereunder. This is expressed as a percentage of the holiday price and is calculated as follows:

­● In the case of a cancellation made by the tour company, we will authorize a full refund with no hold on the deposit.

● In the case of a cancellation made by customers more than 45 days before departure, there will be a loss of the deposit paid.

● In case of cancellation made by the customer less than 45 days before the departure, we will follow the terms that we have now in place:

45 days & over: Transfer your deposit to another trip

44 – 21 days: 30% of the tour fare

20 – 15 days: 50% of the tour fare

14 – 0 days: 100% of the tour fare

­ 

● For online bookings, the money will be refunded directly back to the card used to book except for the online platform booking fee which is not refundable,

● No refunds will be made in respect of any unused portion of a ticket or partially completed trip.

● For the bookings made with The Tour Operator directly either by bank transfer or credit

card, a 3.5% processing fee will be applied on top of the percentage above

MUSEUMS, SERVICE, ADDS ON:

Museums reservation, pre&post accommodations, transfers, and add-ons are non-refundable and not transferrable for any reason.

­ 

RENTALS:

● For cancellations communicated to The Tour Operator in writing to [email protected] within at least 2 (two) days/ 48h prior to the rental, our Agency allows the clients to receive a full refund of the amount paid less 10%

administration fees.

● No refund will be possible when canceling the reservation of the rental with less than at least 2 (two) days notice/ 48h prior to the rental date.

● For the Vespa rental a valid driver’s license to drive in Italy is required (you need to have it with you on the tour).

● The rental agreements, valid documents and a credit card are mandatory for the rental. The Tour Operator reserves the right to cancel the booking with no refund if the documents are not submitted correctly and the credit card is not valid.

● Previous scooter/Vespa/motorcycle driving experience is required and mandatory: A driving test is conducted by the team before the rental to verify the real ability to drive and being confident on a Vespa. Any participant unable to drive scooters safely may ride double with a partner or won't be allowed to rent the vehicle. No refunds will be granted in these cases.

CANCELLATION OF A TOUR BY THE COMPANY

DAY TOUR

The Tour Operator reserves the right to cancel the day tour if the minimum number is not met or for unforeseen circumstances. The Tour Operator will notify the passenger in advance and will offer the passenger the options of:

­ 

  • Rebooking for another confirmed date/departure free of charge
  • Take a substitute tour of equivalent or superior quality if the Company is able and willing to offer such a substitute
  • Accept a voucher of the full amount paid + an additional 20% extra credit valid for 18 months to use for any other day tours organized by the tour company.
  • Take a full refund of the amount paid less 10% administration fee

MULTI DAY TOUR 

­ 

The Tour Operator reserves the right to cancel the multi-day tour if the minimum number is not met or for unforeseen circumstances. The Tour Operator will notify the passenger in advance and will offer the passenger the options of:

­ 

  • Rebooking for another confirmed date/departure free of charge
  • Transfer the amount paid towards any tour; day tour and multi day tour organized by the Tour Company
  • Opt for a refund of the amount paid

WEATHER, ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS AND NATIONAL STRIKES

­ 

  • The Tour Operator may not be held responsible for any delay, deviation, or cancellation due to weather conditions, traffic, and national strikes even if as a result you miss a connecting service. These events are totally outside the tour operator’s control.
  • No trip may be canceled or changed by you at any time on the basis of weather conditions if they are not considered by the The Tour Operator an obstacle to the tour. This will cause a complete loss of the tour booked with no refund.
  • The Tour Operator reserves the right to cancel the tours  ( bike tours, horseback riding, boat trips, vespa tours, tuk-tuk tours, and any other outdoor activity) when the weather conditions are considered to be dangerous for the client’s safety. In this case, The Tour Operator will suggest taking the tour on a different day or will offer the possibility to transfer the booking to any different tour of the company of the same value at no extra costs. Alternatively,The Tour Operator will issue the full refund in the form of a voucher for the activity paid valid for 18 months, or issue a refund less the administration fees.
  • If the National strike is announced well in advance and affects the itinerary of the tour, The Tour Operator will inform the clients by email to offer to organize the same tour for a different date or will refund the tour in full less the administration fees.
  • If the National strike is only announced on the day of the tour but prior to the start of the tour and is affecting the itinerary, The Tour Operator will have the right to cancel the tour if unable to offer alternative solutions. In this case, The Tour Operator will suggest taking the tour on a different day or will offer the possibility to transfer the booking to any different tour of the company of the same value at no extra costs. Alternatively, The Tour Operator will issue the full refund in the form of a voucher for the activity paid valid for 18 months or issue a refund of 50% of the tour value
  • If the National strike is only announced when the tour has already started, The Tour Operator will refund the part of the tour unused corresponding to the travel fees, any meals not used, or a compensation fee.
  • In case of operational reasons or matters not due to The Tour Operator (road conditions, strikes, delays, changes in opening times, or other problems),  the tour operator may modify the tour at any time or replace it with alternative services of the same type and quality. In such case, there will be no change in the price of the excursion.

FORCE MAJEURE

­ 

Force Majeure Event means any event or circumstance beyond the control of The Tour Operator , including but not limited to: (a) an act of god (such as earthquake, flood, fire, explosion, landslide, lightning, action of the elements, force of nature, washout, typhoon, hurricane, cyclone, tsunami, storm or storm warning or natural disaster); (b) industrial disputes, work ban or other labour dispute or difficulty; (c) acts of terrorism, political unrest, war or threat of war, riots or civil strife; (d) failure or delays to scheduled transportation and the closure of airports or ports; (e) pandemic, epidemic or health risk; (f) governmental and administrative actions (including closure of borders and travel warnings and restrictions), other casualty or cause, not within the control of Travel on a Budget, that would make it impractical or impossible for The Tour Operator to be held, all the conditions, rights and duties of both the operator and the client, set out in the contract of the terms and conditions are no longer valid and falls under ” cases of force majeure ” .

­ 

The customer agrees per the terms and conditions herein to receive a credit voucher of the amount spent or of the service not used for future use. This voucher is transferable and can be used for future bookings within a year from the issue date on any of the Tour Operator services.

­ 

PRICE MODIFICATIONS

In case of a sudden increase in individual prices indicated, superior to 10% (e.g. new taxes or duties), the excursion prices will be modified accordingly. Clients, hotels, accommodations, and agencies which sell our services will be informed in writing.

­ 

SPECIAL OFFERS & DISCOUNTS

Special offers and discounts can only be applied at the time of booking and cannot be retrospectively added at a later date, regardless of any changes made to the original booking.

Discounts and special offers cannot be accumulated and when 2 or more offers can apply to a booking in all cases only the discount offering the highest saving to the booking will be applied.

Discount codes and promo codes cannot be used on already discounted tours. If this happens the client will be asked to pay the difference.

INSURANCE

­ 

The excursions scheduled in the program are covered by R.C. insurance for the risk, limits of indemnity which appear in article 13 of L.R.T. 16/94 with ASSICURAZIONI ALLIANZ GLOBAL ASSISTANCE nr. 78777680. The Tour Operator does not respond for damages caused by third parties or for reasons beyond its control and is not responsible for the loss or forgetfulness of valuable (and not) objects or luggage.

There is no travel insurance included in the cost of any  tour or package, ticket, or product.

The Tour Operator highly recommends that you purchase your own travel insurance that covers all of your travels. The Tour Operator strongly recommends that you are covered by a comprehensive insurance policy which includes: personal accident, medical expenses, trip interruption, personal baggage, money and public liability, evacuation and repatriation cover including during pandemic events. The choice of insurer is yours. The Tour Operator cannot be held responsible for your failure to obtain insurance which is appropriate and we recommend you purchase your insurance at or soon after booking your trip. The Tour Operator will not be held liable for any costs incurred by the guest resulting from their failure to obtain adequate travel insurance.

DISPUTES

Any complaint by the client must be communicated in writing to The Tour Operator to [email protected] within and not later than 10 days after the date of the tour. The complaints or disputes that cannot be solved amicably between the client and The Tour Operator , shall be referred to Florence Court.

PHOTOGRAPHS AND FILMS

When booking any of the The Tour Operator tour, you agree that photographs and films of you may be taken while you are participating in any of the tour operator’s trips. You agree that these images may be used for marketing purposes by the tour operator on brochures, websites, print media, and promotional videos used to promote The Tour Operator products only.
